Erin was not enjoying the party. She didn’t want to be with a bunch of assholes that she didn’t give remotely a shit about. Unfortunately, she made a promise to Adam, her brother.
Adam was welcomed into the fold of the popular idiots, that were led by the bitch of their high school: Stephanie Walner. She did whatever she wanted, bullying anyone that would dare to stand against her.
I suppose being the mayor’s daughter has benefits. She is always protected no matter how bad her actions are, Erin thought to herself.
She watched as Adam laughed along with his new jock friends. He was a naive young kid, but she loved him regardless. Several of the boys patted him on the back, laughing.
It was a crowded party, but Erin had a good view of Adam. She was going to keep her eyes on him, to make sure no harm would come to him.
Stephanie popped out of nowhere, walking over to Adam to hug him from behind. Erin groaned.
“You got to be fucking kidding me.”
Stephanie appeared to be laughing, as Adam placed a kiss on top of her head.
“No. No, no, no, no. Adam…why?,” Erin whispered.
Stephanie and Adam had their arms around each other as the party progressed. They stayed that way the whole time, until the party was coming to an end.
Adam and Stephanie were one of the few guests left. Stephanie was pulling Adam toward the upstairs, where her bedroom was located.
“Whore,” Erin muttered to herself.
Much to Erin’s relief, Adam insisted that he had to be home. Stephanie made a pouty face, but she walked him out the door, back to his car. They shared a brief kiss, before Adam drove away.
Erin waited until Stephanie walked back inside the house. Then at some point, the rest of her guests left. Stephanie was now alone, heading to her bedroom.
Now is my chance.
Erin slipped on a gas mask over her face. Then she climbed down the tree she was sitting in for hours. It was the perfect view to spy on her brother. Who would ever think to look up at a tree?
Someone that was possibly drunk, most likely.
Erin walked through the front door, letting herself in. She didn’t bother checking to see if the cameras were turned on. Stephanie always turned off the cameras whenever she had guests over.
She didn’t want her daddy dearest to find out what she was doing behind the scenes. Luckily, the mayor didn’t bother securing an alarm system to protect his precious daughter. Idiot.
Erin slowly walked upstairs, making sure not to make a sound. Stephanie was in the bathroom, washing up. Erin softly pulled out the thing she was hiding in her back pocket.
Then she made her move.
Stephanie was in front of the sink, washing off her makeup. She was caught off guard, and let out a single scream. Erin swung the blade, slitting her throat.
Red splashed against Erin’s gas mask, as Stephanie clutched at her throat. She fell to the bathroom floor, making weird noises.
Erin grabbed Stephanie by her hair, and then stabbed the blade straight onto the top of her head. The blade sank easily into her brain, like cutting into a small block of cheese.
Stephanie flailed for a few more seconds before succumbing to her death.
It was done.
The water was still running in the sink. Erin quickly washed the blade in the water, and then left the scene. She walked out the door, and then to her vehicle that was parked far away in the pitch blackness.
While Erin was getting into her car, her phone rang. It was Adam.
She picked it up.
“Hey, Adam! How have you been?”
“Doing pretty good! I’m just here back at home, chilling. I just got back from a party. It was cool. Stephanie wanted me to stay over longer, but I had to dip. I’m not the kind of dude that stays up late.”
“Aww, you’re still the same old Adam that thinks he has a curfew.”
Adam blew a raspberry through the phone.
“And you’re still the same old baby,” Erin chimed in.
“Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Anyways, how’s college?”
“Great! I’m here in my dorm room, doing homework.”
“And you’re still the same old nerd.”
Erin and Adam laughed at the same time.
Erin loved her brother dearly. He was meant to be a successful kid with big dreams ahead. Erin was determined to make sure that no bad influences got in the way.
Once Erin found out that Adam was dating Stephanie, she began her plan. She stalked Stephanie for about 3 months, learning everything about her household.
The next step was going to be the tough part, but Erin always found a solution to all her problems. It was one of the best qualities about her.
“I miss you, sis. When you come down, I’ll introduce Stephanie to you! I think you would like her a lot!”
Erin smiled through her bloody gas mask.
“I can’t wait.”
