Rosy and Albert

Rosy and Albert

By Ganesh AgmPublished 3 years ago 3 min read

The old, abandoned mansion at the end of the street had always been a source of intrigue for the townsfolk. They whispered about the strange occurrences that had taken place within its walls over the years, and the rumors of the ghost that haunted the estate had only grown with each passing year.

Rosy and Albert were a young couple who had just moved into the town. They had heard the rumors about the mansion, but they didn't believe in ghosts. One day, they decided to explore the mansion for themselves.

As they entered the mansion, they could feel a chill run down their spines. The air was thick with a musty scent, and cobwebs lined the walls. Rosy held onto Albert's hand tightly as they made their way through the mansion.

As they reached the staircase, they heard a creaking sound. It was coming from the top of the stairs. They looked up to see a figure standing at the top, staring down at them. It was a woman in a white dress, her hair falling around her face in wild waves.

Rosy and Albert froze. They couldn't believe what they were seeing. The woman began to descend the stairs, her eyes fixed on the young couple.

"Who are you?" Rosy asked, her voice shaking.

The woman didn't answer. She continued to walk down the stairs, her eyes never leaving the couple.

Suddenly, the woman disappeared into thin air. Rosy and Albert were left standing there, alone in the mansion.

From that day on, strange things began to happen to Rosy and Albert. They would hear strange noises in the middle of the night, and their belongings would move around the house on their own. They tried to ignore the occurrences, but they couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched.

One night, Rosy woke up to find the woman in the white dress standing at the foot of her bed. She tried to scream, but no sound came out. The woman leaned in close to Rosy's face, and whispered something in her ear. Rosy couldn't make out the words, but she knew that they were important.

The next morning, Rosy and Albert decided to do some research on the mansion. They went to the library and looked through old newspapers and records. That's when they discovered the truth about the woman in the white dress.

Her name was Elizabeth, and she had been the wife of the mansion's previous owner. Elizabeth had died under mysterious circumstances, and her husband had been suspected of foul play. He had disappeared shortly after her death, leaving the mansion empty for years.

Rosy and Albert realized that Elizabeth's ghost was trying to communicate with them. They went back to the mansion and began to investigate further. They discovered a hidden room in the basement, where they found a diary that belonged to Elizabeth.

In the diary, Elizabeth had written about her husband's abusive behavior and her fear that he was planning to kill her. She had hidden the diary in the basement, hoping that someone would find it and uncover the truth about her death.

Rosy and Albert took the diary to the police, who reopened the investigation into Elizabeth's death. They discovered evidence that confirmed her husband's guilt, and he was finally brought to justice.

After that, the strange occurrences in the mansion stopped. Elizabeth's ghost had finally been put to rest, and Rosy and Albert could live in peace.

But every now and then, as they walked past the old mansion, they could feel a chill run down their spines. They knew that Elizabeth's ghost still haunted the estate, but they no longer felt afraid. They knew that she was at peace, and that her story had finally been told.
