My experience with the hat man
My Personal Encounter with the Hat Man
When we can’t see what surrounds us, the fear of the unknown arises. We become vulnerable, anxious about potential dangers.
And who can truly say we’re alone when we sleep in the darkness of our room? Some believe that the shadows lurking in the dark are merely waiting for the right moment to attack us.
There is a shadow that is seen by many people around the world. This shadow is called the Hat Man. There are so many accounts on the internet where people claim to have experienced the Hat Man, including myself. Many believe it’s linked to sleep paralysis, but there are others who claim they weren’t asleep when they encountered it.
My experience happened a long time ago, when I was little. I woke up in the middle of the night to get a glass of water and saw the shadow at the foot of my bed, lurking there. That’s when I felt panic take over my body! I screamed and hid under the blankets. I remember trembling all over; I can't say exactly how long I stayed under the covers. When I gathered enough courage to peek, the shadow had disappeared. To this day, I haven’t seen the Hat Man again. And I hope to never see him again.
At that time, I couldn’t associate that shadow with the Hat Man, nor did I have any idea such a thing existed! I couldn’t even imagine that, in other parts of the world, many people were seeing the same thing I did. Knowing this is even scarier than having seen it in reality!
This shadow didn’t attack me; it just stared, observing me like a stalker.
But what scares me the most is the fact that many people have experienced this and seen the same shadow I saw when I was little. It makes it more real than an illusion.

wow
It's crazy
Your story gave me chills. It’s wild how so many people have seen the same shadow figure. The fact you hadn’t even heard of the Hat Man when you saw him makes it even more real... and a lot more terrifying. I’m really glad you haven’t seen him again.
