Ghost Stories

Building 11 is located at the east gate of Wugong College and is the oldest dormitory building in the school. It is said that it was originally a health school, but later it was transferred to the nearby university as a male dormitory due to some incident. There have always been all kinds of strange and eerie legends about it. It is said that no matter how hot it is outside during the day or night, as soon as you step into Building 11, you will immediately feel a chill. Students who have lived here all say that it is not clean. Some say that they hear girls whispering in the corridor at midnight, but no one can be seen. Some say that they wake up in the middle of the night and see a shadow passing by the window. There are many such stories, but they are all unverifiable and eventually fade away. However, the longest and most eerie legend about Building 11 is the story of Room 108.

Chen Gang is a freshman at Wugong College. After checking in in the afternoon, he returned to the dormitory to unpack his luggage. As soon as he pushed open the door, he saw a mess inside. A boy of similar age was lying on the bed playing with his mobile phone. As soon as Chen Gang entered, he grinned at him and pointed at himself. "Wang Hang, you?" Chen Gang shook hands with him as a greeting and turned back to continue playing with his phone. Chen Gang casually placed his luggage on the only empty bed and looked around. The three desks that were already set up were all dilapidated, full of big and small holes. Only in the corner was there a desk covered with dust, looking very old, but the surface was still relatively intact. Chen Gang dragged it to his bed, wiped it slightly, and then pulled out the drawer below. To his surprise, there was a bright and colorful women's underwear inside. Chen Gang was stunned. This was a male dormitory. How could there be such a thing? He turned his head and found Wang Hang staring at him with a strange look. The scene was very awkward. Chen Gang hurriedly threw the thing far away and explained, "Uh, this isn't mine. I just opened the drawer." Before he could finish, Wang Hang chuckled and interrupted him, "Ah, okay, bro, I get it." Then, several other classmates returned one after another, and the matter was over.

They got to know each other. As it was the first day, everyone was very excited. After turning off the lights, they chatted for a long time before the dormitory gradually quieted down. Chen Gang lay alone in the dark night, tossing and turning for a long time without being able to sleep. Just as he was about to fall asleep, he saw a tall girl in an old-fashioned school uniform standing in front of him. Her hair was hanging low, and her face was not visible. She stretched out a pale arm and kept waving at him, gesturing for him to come closer. Chen Gang was like a zombie, moving towards the girl step by step. With each step, he could see the white eyeball under her hanging hair. Suddenly, Chen Gang felt a wave of fear and struggled to stop himself from taking another step forward. He shouted, "Who are you?" At that moment, his body seemed to regain its freedom and stopped. There was a rustling sound under her hanging hair, and suddenly she cracked a smile. The sound was as unpleasant as a saw. Chen Gang rolled off the bed and got up, his face covered with big beads of sweat. He panted for a long time, looking at the dark dormitory. The other roommates were snoring evenly, but Chen Gang couldn't sleep anymore. His mind was filled with the image of the girl with her hair hanging low. The next morning, the alarm on his phone rang. After thinking about it for a dozen times, Chen Gang reluctantly got out of bed, threw on some clothes, and hurriedly washed up before heading to the classroom. Today was the first day of reporting for duty. In class, the teacher was enthusiastically lecturing on university club and professional courses. Chen Gang was lying on the desk, also sound asleep with great enthusiasm. By the end of the day, Chen Gang didn't know how many times he had dozed off. Anyway, that colorful university life made him forget the strange dream he had last night. After the first short holiday of the semester on October 1st, all the classmates went home. Chen Gang lived far away and didn't want to go through the trouble, so he stayed alone in the dormitory. Actually, he also liked it this way. The entire dormitory building was almost empty, and it was very quiet. At night, looking at the empty dormitory, Chen Gang played for a while but lost interest and turned off the light early to go to bed. But just after he fell asleep, he suddenly felt a bone-chilling cold. The window had opened by itself slowly. The temperature inside the room dropped by about ten degrees in an instant. Chen Gang, still in his sleep, frowned slightly and pulled the quilt tighter. He had a dream. He dreamed that he was at the foot of Building 11, but it seemed different from what he remembered. The area was filled with lush trees. On the lawn in front of the building, there was a tall girl in an old-fashioned school uniform, concentrating on reading a book. Her pretty face would sometimes frown and sometimes smile. Chen Gang was stunned for a moment, feeling a sense of familiarity with this girl. At this moment, a greasy and powdered young man suddenly entered his vision, walking over to the girl and sitting down beside her. The girl turned her head to look at him, frowned, and moved away a little, showing a hint of disgust. The young man didn't care at all and said to himself, "Hey, I'm Wang Quan, Quan as in power. My brother is the school director, and my uncle is a big shot in this area." Saying this, he even stuck out his thumb proudly. But the girl didn't even raise her head. Wang Quan felt embarrassed but continued to talk to himself, "Hey, beautiful, what's your name? Are you also from the health school?" The girl was a bit annoyed at this point and simply said, "Tang Hui," then turned around and continued reading her book, facing away from Wang Quan. "Ah, Tang Hui, what a nice name. Are you free tonight? Let's have dinner together." Tang Hui closed her notebook and got up to leave. But the greasy and powdered young man followed her like a fly, still chattering non-stop. As they were about to enter the dormitory, Wang Quan couldn't help reaching out to pull her, but instead received a resounding slap. Holding his burning cheek, Wang Quan glared at her back and spat on the ground with a fierce look before leaving. At this moment, Chen Gang also woke up. He turned over and sat up on the bed, looking at the dark dormitory. Chen Gang realized that he had just been dreaming. However, the girl's face was deeply imprinted in his mind. That Wang Quan didn't seem like a good person. He wondered what he would do. The girl seemed to be named Tang Hui. Chen Gang thought of her cute face and lay down to sleep again. The next night, Chen Gang finished dinner early and returned to the dormitory. He no longer cared about why such strange things happened. All he could think about was that girl and what would happen to her later. He tossed and turned in bed for a long time before finally falling asleep. This time, he saw himself standing outside Room 108. Curiously, he reached out to push the door open, but he passed right through it. He stepped inside. This place was completely different from the messy Room 108 he remembered. The room was neatly arranged, and beside his desk, a girl was concentrating on writing something. It was Tang Hui. Chen Gang was delighted to see her and walked over to her, sitting down gently beside her, being careful not to disturb her. Just then, a creaking sound came from behind. Chen Gang turned around and saw it was that oily-faced Wang Quan who was sneaking in through the crack of the door again. Who was this guy and what did he want? Chen Gang was startled and stood up, but found that he couldn't move a finger. He tried to open his mouth to warn Chen Huike, but couldn't do anything. He could only watch helplessly as Wang Quan Ning smiled and walked out of his body, through the door, and towards Tan Hui step by step. Tan Hui seemed to sense something was wrong behind him and turned around just in time to be held by a hand over his mouth. He looked at the person in front of him in terror and struggled desperately, but Wang Quan seemed to be getting more and more excited and held him down even harder. Tan Hui's struggling body gradually went limp. Wang Quan dragged him to the bed behind him and pounced on him like a wild dog. Chen Gang woke up at this moment and wiped the cold sweat on his forehead. Suddenly, he had a strange feeling that there was someone else in this dark room, staring at him in the darkness. He jumped up and rushed to the corner, flipping on the light. The empty room was now only occupied by himself. The next morning, he went to the archives early. For two consecutive days, he had dreamed of that girl. Something must have happened here before. Chen Kang decided to find out. However, after going through all the files in the archives, he couldn't find any relevant information. He found a few senior students he knew and asked them for a long time before learning that there had been a murder case here before, but it was never solved and just dropped. What exactly happened here? Chen Gang thought to himself. Tonight, no matter what, he must find out the final answer. Back in the dormitory, He Yi lay on the bed and fell asleep without turning off the light. The cold light shone in the empty office. This time, it was in the office. Chen Gang came to his senses and found several well-dressed people sitting on the sofa, closing their eyes and resting. On the other sofa, there was a girl who was crying from time to time, suppressing her sobs. This girl was Tan Hui, but the pretty Tan Hui he knew before was nowhere to be seen. The girl in front of him had sunken eyes, bloodshot eyes, and a haggard face, sitting there crying. At this moment, a well-dressed man cleared his throat and spoke, "Student Tan Hui, you are also an outstanding student of our school. Our teachers all recognize your abilities. You say that Wang Quan violated you. We will definitely give you a handling result. We won't cover up for him just because he is someone's relative. " As he spoke, he glanced at Wang Quan sitting beside him. Wang Quan was sitting there nonchalantly, playing with his phone. Hearing this, he sneered and said, "But, everything has to follow the law. Everything needs evidence. You say he violated you, but you didn't go to the hospital for a check-up. How can you slander him without evidence? If there are no other witnesses or physical evidence, don't randomly suspect others. You are a promising student in the eyes of our teachers. The school has long planned to cultivate you as a key student. Going for a master's degree will be no problem for you in the future." Just as he was speaking, Tan Hui, who had been sitting on the sofa crying, suddenly stood up, her eyes red, and glared fiercely at the well-dressed people in the room. Then she turned around and rushed out of the office, climbed to the rooftop in one breath, wiped away her tears, closed her eyes, and jumped off the building with endless resentment. Chen Gang was right behind him, desperately reaching out to pull him, but it was too late. His foot slipped and he fell down with him. Just as he was falling, he saw a girl with her hair hanging low standing on the rooftop. A gust of wind blew up her hair. The hair covering his face revealed that half of his face was already a bloody mess, exposing the white bones. Only one eye and half of his lips remained, grinning at Chen Gang. It was too late to think about whether this was a dream or reality. Just then, there was a loud bang, and Chen Gang fell heavily onto the concrete steps in front of Building 11. In an instant, the steps in front of Building 11 were stained red. After such an incident occurred in the dormitory building, Building 11 was once again sealed off. The next year, a new batch of freshmen arrived. In Room 108, a young man was moving that table. He opened the drawer and found a woman's undergarment inside. What he didn't notice was that in the corner of Room 108, a girl with her hair hanging low was grinning and laughing.
