The Faceless Dark

My fingers release the small black book as it smacks the white wall in front of me I fall to my knees. Warm tears stream down my face. " I don't want it any more please take it away." I scream hoping it will hear me and answers my plea as it did before. I feel a dark presence behind me. " You humans always wanting more this and more that this is why we don't help you anymore, you guys never know what you want." The presence takes form of a small women in an all black ball gown with scarlet colored lips and flushed pale skin.

"You have to take it away, that book is evil." I say looking at the floor pressing my nails into my thighs as leaving behind red crescent moons that slowly leak blood down my legs. "Listen kid the book only manifest your intentions. If you can't handle the fact you got some dark intentions, instead of crying to me, how about some self evaluation. It steps behind me and places it's hands on my shoulder and whispers in my ear. "I mean at least your rich now manifesting 20,000 dollars a week is a smart move on your part." It whispers almost mockingly.

" Please it's too much for me everything I wish for goes wrong." I beg more hot tears leave my eyes they begin to become to thicker with each one. I wipe my eyes to see thick red blood on the backs of my hands. "STOP IT STOP IT NOW! THIS CAN'T BE ME IT HAS TO BE YOU.YOU'RE THE MONSTER HERE NOT ME JUST LET ME GO." I scream and shout angrily more red hot blood tears fall down my face as I screech and holler from the deep depths of my lungs. I begin to mutter over and over again rapidly almost incoherently. " I can't be the monster I can't be the monster." I pull my thighs to my chest as I rock back and fourth drenched in cold sweats of agony and thick goopy patches of red.

" Sometimes you humans just make it way to easy. I can't believe you thought that I was the monster, even I couldn't destroy my life this badly and I am a literal Demon." It taunts me as touches and a grasp my head with it's long narrow fingers. It pushes it's nails into my skull pricking my skin drawing blood. I cry out in agony holding my self tighter to try and ease my pain. "You told me you could handle the power." It scoffs in disgust 'You humans are the ones who lie, cheat, steal and murder all we do is give you the tools."

It pulls my head back aggressively. It stares into my soul with it's black endless eyes. "Do you want to make the pain stop my precious little human" It wraps it's free hand around my throat brushing it's lips against my ear. "Give into your darkness. Stop pretending that you feel bad for steeping on others to get your way. Stop acting like you ever cared just give in." It lets go of my me entirely.

Shivers run down my spine as cold air surrounds me chilling me to my core. " I surrender " I barely whisper. The cold air lifts me from my position wrapping it's self around me. I see black fog enter the room from all directions. My mouth is forced open by what I couldn't tell you. The black fog enters my body chilling the last bit of warmth inside. I collapse back to the ground my knees slamming into the floor. I begin to laugh manically slowly rising to my feet. I whip around see the entity smirking at me. " Welcome home new found child of the dark." It says caressing my face in both of it's hands. " Stare at it and smirk " I've always been a child of the dark thank you for bringing me home." I beam smiling from ear to ear. " It pulls me in engulfing me in it's blackness. We disappear into the dark together leaving behind that little black book that started it all and the life that I tore to sherds. It was all okay in the end for I had a new life, a new home , a new purpose, The Darkness.
