Little Black Book

It was a late misty night in October when I heard someone scream in the woods behind my house.I was too frightened to go out and see, so I woke my brother up to come with me but he was also spooked himself.We had tried to go to sleep but there was another scream, which this time it was louder. I told my brother to put some clothes on so we can go see were the noise came from but he was too nervous to go, so we decided to wait until the next morning to go to the woods. Next morning when we both awakened the news crew, ambulance and police were in the woods in our backyard, so our parents went to go speak to one of the officers to get some type of idea as to what happened last night. The officer stated that there was a murder of a 16 yr old girl last night being stabbed to death and the killer is still on the loose. My brother and I couldn’t believe the news we heard and that those screams we heard, was from the girl being murderd. As the day went on I was curious to see the crime scene so I told my brother that I was going to go later that evening. He thought I was crazy to want to go to a fresh crime scene but I wanted to see if I could find anything. So later that evening as the sun started to set, me and my brother went into the woods to the crime scene. As we started walking into the woods and getting closer to the crime scene darkness started to arrive. As we turned our flashlights on chills started to run through my body. All you can hear is the crackling of the leaves on the ground floor as we walk closer to the crime scene while the wind blowing calmly as we scan around for anything thats looks useful. Next Out of nowhere My brother jumps and makes a noise as he sees blood on one of the trees by the scene. I told him to relax and not to be scared but as we continue our search I had come across this little black book that was buried under the leaves of the crime scene. The book had some name on it called “ Moleskine's”. I told my brother “ Look” and then used my flash light to look through the book briefly and what we saw was very disturbing. We hurried home to our room to see what’s in this little black book. When we got back to our room I had close the door so that our parents couldn’t just rush in. Then that’s when I started to flip the pages and there were pictures of the little girl tied up entirely in a room blind folded. The girl looked like she was beaten very badly in the photos, and while looking through the whole book, her name was next to each picture saying “Moleskine's”.So me and my brother were up all night trying to figure out what to do with this little black book because we knew that there was dyer news for the police to use. I knew it would be best to take the little black book to the police ASAP so that they could find some more clues on catching the killer. So The next day I told my parents about finding the little black book and showed them and they were shocked out their minds to see the horrific photos of the little girl. They had immediately called police, and the police were on their way. When the police arrived I started to feel relief and hope that they would find the killer after discovering the little black book. The police couldn’t believe what they saw in the book and asked me why I went out there to the crime scene? I told them there was something in my gut telling me to and after that, the police were gladly happy to take the little black book in and continue to search for the killer.
