'The Witch'
Too often modern horror movies are not scary in the traditional sense. Classic horror films would unnerve you and stay with you for weeks after viewing them. Modern films tend to have people running around in the dark, screaming with dodgy camera work and every scare in the film is down to loud music cues and flash editing. In other words, the story itself isn’t scary or getting a reaction. The filmmakers have to use simple tools to get a response from the audience.

Alien
I live in the shadows. No one sees me. I don’t need a name… yet I’ve apparently been given the name “Alien.” They don’t know me. They wouldn’t want to if they had ever laid eyes on me. I guess I’m pretty much their worst nightmare. I look similar to the humans, I like to think, besides my skin being a bit too tight. It extenuates the muscles in my body and my cheeks are as wrinkled as the elderly in their race. This bottom jaw of mine comes to a point up towards the few teeth at the top of my mouth. My eyes are cloudy, but I see fine. There're multiple horns bulging from the top of my head. A new one sprouts on what they would call my birthday every year. Our years go by differently though. One year where I’m from is three years here. I’m 24 years old.

10 of the Scariest Movies that Aren't Horror Movies
We all may shrink in terror when we get a good jump scare or feel a certain chill when we seriously creepy movie villains in action, but there's a limit to how scary something fake can be. The terror you get from traditional horror movies are often limited by special effects or by the knowledge that it's just a guy in a costume.

Best Selling Erotic Horror Novels
Erotica and horror go together like peanut butter and jelly, honestly. Ever since the early days of Gothic literature, which always had an undertone of sexuality, people have enjoyed a spice of sexy with their scary. Perhaps it is the marriage of two different types of sin—sex and violence—that pairs them so perfectly together. Erotic horror movies tend to be popular, but there's something about the intimacy of a book that can really get your blood running. Whatever you prefer, it's no surprise that there are many authors out there who take a crack at the genre. While some just stuff a book with mindless sex and gore, some really get you invested in the novel while also providing a good dose of what you came here for—disgustingly awesome horror and erotica. These are the top erotic horror novels that you'll want to sink your teeth into.

The Unknown
Everything is dark. I feel like my eyes are open but I can't see a thing. Everywhere around me it is pitch black. I try to move but I find myself to be unable to. I can't tell whether or not I am bound to something or confined in a small place. With every move that I try to make my skin burns. Not just on the surface but deep down as if whatever was causing the feeling was flowing through my bloodstream. I feel the sensation all over my body.

Movie Review: 'A Quiet Place'
Welcome, everyone!! Wow!! This was the most quiet movie you will ever see in a theater and it was absolutely fantastic! From beginning to end, the movie caught all of our attention and left us at the edge of our seats. It was very suspenseful and it was sad when the father had to sacrifice himself to save his two children and left his family behind.

Darker Disney
We’ve all seen these Disney movies, but I bet you haven’t seen them like this. 'Cinderella' After Cinderella gained two awful stepsisters who were desperate to be the prince’s bride, her father passes away and her evil stepmother forces her to become the housemaid. When the big ball comes up, Cinderella finds that she now has a fairy godmother who tailors her a beautiful gown and gives her a pair of glass slippers all to wear to the party, but she loses one of her shoes on her way out. The prince takes off with the shoe, after falling in love with her, and tries to find the foot that fits. Yet this fairy tale is actually gorier than told, for it’s not a fairy godmother who brings her what she needs—it’s actually little birds that grant her wishes and bring her gold slippers rather than glass. And when one of the stepsisters tries to fit her foot into the golden slipper, to prove she is the prince’s meant-to-be bride, she can’t fit her big toe in. So her mother gives her a knife and tells her to cut it off because when she is queen, she’ll never have to go anywhere on foot anyways. She does as her mother has said and it fits. Then she’s busted when the little birds tweet to the prince, “Turn and Peep, Turn and Peep, There’s blood within the shoe. The shoe it is too small for her, The real bride waits for you.” With the second sister, it’s the same result except for this time, the problem is her heel, so she slices it off, for her mother tells her the same thing. But the prince eventually finds Cinderella.

'A Quiet Place' Is Very Suspenseful but Falls a Little Short
All I knew about A Quiet Place before going to see it last night was that it was a horror film and making noise meant you were in big trouble. Emily Blunt and John Krasinski don’t waste any time expediting the urgency either, and the weight of the silence heightens the tension from the outset.
