Rick fumbled his way downstairs soon greeted by a bunch of cameras. his eyes slowly moved to Chas, as he sat in a green bathrobe playing the guitar. a thoughtful look on his face as his hazel eyes stared into the woods outside. Rick moves quietly through the kitchen, careful not to disturb him. Chas turned to see Rick as he was grabbing a bowl of cereal.

"hey," Rick gave Chas a tired wave as he poured the cerrial into a bowl.

"Hey, sorry to-" Chas stood up fumbling towards Rick.

"oh, no you aren't disturb- I was just- playing, things." He held up his guitar for emphsis. Rick looked at Chas curiously Jackson wandered into the room looks a lot cleaner than he was last night.

"It's 4:00 in the morning. I know why I'm up, what are you guys doing up?"

"Nightmare," Rick muttered

"insomnia" Chas added. Rick turned to Chas pointing at him.

"he was writing a thing." Chas shook his head embarrassed as he clutched the guitar. Jackson looked at the instrument excitedly.

"ohhhhh, a thing, what type of thing?" Chas shrugged his shoulders his eyes hesitating towards Rick.

"just a love song thing, it's really stupid. It's not done yet, you probably-"

"No I wanna hear it, I can jam with a love song," Jackson said excitedly Rick nodded in agreement, curious what type of song Chas makes. Chas shook his head as his face turned red.

"well, it's not really-" Brock poked his head downstairs peeking over at the group.

"What are you guys doing?"

"Chas wrote a love song," Jackson responded excitedly. Chas sigh realizing the request to hear the song was getting bigger. He held the guitar under his shoulder as he strummed the cords. a soft songbird-like voice leaving the tall man's mouth. Rick felt captivated as he listened to Chas' song and his intense focus on singing it right between quick glances towards the others in the group. The voice of a man who enjoyed what he did.

"I love the way you look at me, god it gives me shivers

by now my soul would be dead, you made me a liver

your grey-green eyes just like a lake wanna dive right in em

if you were satin, Jesus Crist by now I would be sinnin

I know it's not quite ment to be

but I feel it every time you look at me

I lose

just one look, I lose

my mind

I feel like I have to win I'm always so confused

but one glance is all it takes for me to want to lose

to lose

just lose

my mind" Jackson clapped shaking his head as he processed each lyric

"my guy, that was great! seriously, you've got serious talent right there." Chas smiled gladly taking the multitude of compliments Jackson threw at him as he looked at Rick.

"what did you think?" Chas asked almost with bated breath. Rick nodded

"it sounds great there's just one thing, Beverly doesn't have green eyes, her eyes are more of a, purpley bluish kinda color."

"oh, it's not about Beverly." Chas chuckled nervously looking at the ground. Brock leaned over the banister. A smug smile on his face.

"then who IS it about, someone else in your life?" Chas waved his hand desperately trying to shoo away Brock's question

”it doesn’t matter who it’s about all that matters is that you guys liked it.” Rick nodded in agreement as loud footsteps made their way down the stairs. His grey-green eyes turning to see a very shirtless, upset mitch charging towards them.

”WHICH ONE OF YOU FUCKERS STOLE MY PHONE?” He screeched as he made his way down. The group looked between each other, each denying the theft of Mitch’s phone. Chas smiled at Mitch.

“Hey Mitch, you wanna hear my song?” Mitch glared at Chas taking a moment to answer his question.

“I heard it from upstairs, it was pitchy also, ‘liver?’ Not a good choice, it sounds stupid! You need to change that! Now WHICH ONE OF YOU ASSHOLES DECIDED TO TAK MY FUCKING PHONE!” Mitch turned to Rick who tried not to make eye contact with the man.

”It was you wasn’t it? Yeah, I bet it was!” Rick ate his cereal hoping Mitch would move on and rant about something else. Chas shuffled through his pocket, his searching becoming somewhat desperate.

”no, wait, my phone's gone too.” a bad feeling built in Rick's stomach as he proceeded to search his own pockets, Brock and Jackson following suit.

"It's gone! my phone is gone!" Jackson cried

"same" Brock said Rick nodded, confirming his was missing as well. Mitch looked around confused and upset.

"whichever one of you dumbasses stole everyone's phones you better give MINE back before I get mad!" Jackson rolled his eyes.

"you think someone would just take everyone's phone just to mess with YOU? I have a kid! something happens to her I'm not gonna have any idea." Gordan stumbled down the stairs after Mitch had half his hair sticking up.

"did you find it?" Gordan asked Mitch, Mitch shook his head as he riffled through the kitchen cupboards. Rick looked at Gordan slightly concerned.

"Do you have YOUR phone?"

"I don't use a cell phone, I have a landline.'' The group looked at Gordan baffled that someone still had a landline in current day. Marcus sniffled, making his way down the stairs.

"what's with all the yelling? I'm trying to sleep?" Mitch turned to Marcus the rage of one thousand men boiling inside of him.

"MY PHONE'S MISSING!" he belted

"everyone's phones missing" Chas corrected murmuring so Mitch wouldn't hear him.

"Not mine, I have a landline" Gordon corrected further Marcus stared at Gordon just as baffled by the phrase. 'I own a land line' as everyone else was. Marcus looked through his own pockets giving a tired sigh when he found nothing.

"relax guys, we probably left them outside yesterday," Marcus suggested trying to stay level-headed. Mitch sped outside shuffling through all the bushes as he looked around. He turned to Marcus frustrated.

"IT'S.NOT.HERE." Mitch said Marcus shrugged his shoulders too tired to deal with Mitch at the moment.

"I said maybe, I don't know what to tell you man, just chill for a second." The group searched the garden for their phones each taking a section to themselves. Mitch and Brock searched the front of the house thinking it was possible they lost them during the elimination ceremony last night. Mitch searched through the bushes till he got to one of the potted plants. inside it sat a note with a small flash drive, the name Walker Mautz written in crude sharpie.

Walker? Mitch thought for a moment trying to remember. that's right, 6, his real name was Walker, this flash drive must have been his. Mitch opened the note with a feeling of dread crawling inside of him as he read it. Mitch shoved the drive in his pocket making sure Gordon didn't see. the group came back together each proclaiming they found, nothing.

It was then the cameras surrounded them once more. Noah Grand waltzed up to the group.

"well, look at everyone up and early." he snickered

"Actually, we're looking for our phones. they all just disappeared." Chas explained. Noah looked up at the sky a confused look on his face

"huh, weird, well our camera crew will keep an eye out for them. Don't worry too much about it we don't get cell reception out here anyway." Mitch glared at Noah. Rick sighed, he figured there wasn't any reception but he still missed his phone; it was like a pieice of him had been snatched away. Noah looked around.

"Well all of you are here except-" a high-pitched scream echoed through the wind. A small twig-like man bolted down the hill with a look of panic in his eyes. Noah smiled as Jarvis made his way down.

"and there he is." Jarvis painted as he clutched his knees trying to get as much air back into his lungs as he could.

"I-I LIGHT! BLOOD!" Jarvis screamed in between breaths. The group looked at him trying to translate what "light blood" could mean. they didn't have to wonder long as Jarvis finally caught his breath.

"There was a light on the hill last night so I went to check out the hill. there was BLOOD on the hill! A LOT of blood!" Javis said, the camera crew looked between each other as though Jarvis said something they didn't want to hear. Noah laughed patting Jarvis on the shoulder.

"looks like you found the wolves area. yeah, we saw a wolf up, it was eating a possum. wild right, anyways you don't have to worry about it. we've combed the whole place for wolves. even hired some world-class animal movers. they should be in a world-class reserve by now." Jarvis shook his head, not quite satisfied with the answer.

"there was way too much blood for that to be a possum! And what was the light? look if someone died here-"

"Died?" Noah laughed at the ridiculousness of the statement.

"oh no one died, we hired a guy yesterday to check that place out. he brought a pretty bright lamp to get a better look. He said he's pretty sure they had a den in that area. They were probably dragging things up there to eat. Anyways, I'd recommend all of you not go there in the future. we're going to do some construction on that area, make it a little more, pleasent. and a little less deadly.” Rick laughed nervously hoping they really did catch all the wolves. Noah sighed leading the group to the backyard.

"I'm sure you're all pretty stressed about losing your phone, and wolves, not to mention how hot it is. Luckily for you guys, we're taking today to the pool." Rick's face went pale. he had completely forgotten about swimming. Noah said this was for their relaxation. In reality, it was so Beverly could see what they looked like in swimsuits. So she could stealthily judge their aesthetics without making the contestants feel bad. Rick looked at all the tall muscular men standing next to his short out of shape body. Even Jarvis, who was a literal twig, had the advantage of being thin and lightly muscly.

A smile curled onto Mitch's face as he looked at Rick. Mitch knew dang well about Rick's insecurities and Rick wouldn't be surprised if he used it against him. Rick got into a golf cart along with Chas and Jarvis. the three riding through the forest with a voiceless driver driving them to their destination. Jarvis' hands shook as he sprayed bug spray around the cart. Chas spoke up trying to ease the mood.

"So, last week was pretty crazy, I mean good job on the intro Rick I was impressed." Rick smiled looking at the scenery around them.

"what can I say? After watching enough episodes you get a handle on what they want in an introduction. yours was pretty good to Chas." Chas shrugged his shoulders.

"I could have done better. Jarvis, yours was pretty gutsy." Jarvis looked at the two confused as he sprayed yet another thing of bug spray around the group.

"really? I just shook her hand." Rick nodded

"exactly, it was direct, normally you have to wow the person to get their attention, without weirding them out. doing nothing takes some sort of guts." Jarvis looked down at his feet. laughing sadly as he put the spray on the chair next to him.

"no, I shook her hand, Walker, he didn't do a thing. He had guts."

"Were you guys close?" Chas asked silently, hiding the bug spray. Jarvis shook his head.

"Nah, we just happened to be from the same place, I got to talk to him a bit before the show. He's pretty cool when you get to know him. I kept getting this feeling that he didn't really want to be here though. It was like something was making him do it. I guess we connected on that point." Rick looked at Jarvis surprised up to this point he just talked about how dangerous this place could be. hearing him talk about something other than his safety was pretty refreshing.

"what do you mean you connected?" he asked, slightly confused.

"well truth be told, I didn't want to be on the show. a friend of mine dared me to sign up, they said someone like me didn't stand a chance of getting on the show. I signed up when I was drunk to prove her wrong... I didn't think they'd actually pick me." Rick pictured an intoxicated Jarvis making a random video. Admittedly Rick had to agree Jarvis had as much reason to be one this show as Rick did, neither of them really fit the roles most people on the show play.

"That was before I actually met Beverly though. Don't get me wrong, something about her, about this, scares me but, she's pretty cute, you know?" Rick knew exactly what Jarvis ment something about Beverly scared him it was something unnatural. that being said you couldn't quite help but like her. She just seemed to be a magnetic person. Like something was drawing him in along with the other contestants.

"yeah I get that, She's an odd one, but she's pretty," Rick muttered, Chas looked at Rick with a somewhat defeated look on his face.

"What’s wrong?" Jarvis asked, noticing Chas' saddened face. Chas' face went red with embarrassment.

"oh, it’s just, with a girl like that, a guy like me probably doesn’t stand a chance." Rick looked at Chas dumbfounded.

"Are you kidding? look at you! you’re the hottest guy here, and one of the nicest. if I had to put money on who'd win this it'd definitely be you." Chas' face got redder as he processed what Rick said.

"You think I'm hot?" Chas said a slightly hopeful look in his eyes. Rick felt a smile creep onto his face as the larger man beamed.

"Well yeah, compared to the other guys here you’re a shoo-in. Sorry, it’s weird for a guy to call you hot huh?" Chas shrugged his shoulders returning to hisorigonal compousure.

"I never said that," Chas mumbled. Rick looked at Chas for a moment once again, shaking away his emotion. He was straight, Rick had to remind himself once more. It Was unfair to assume he wasn’t based on one comment. Why else would he possibly be here? Chas started a rick for a moment when the driver came to a stop. a large swimming pool sat in the middle of the woods. Rick breathed in trying to keep himself calm as he looked at the cause of his future embarrassment. He turned to the driver.

"We don't have to swim do we?" the driver shook his head. Rick smiled, his fragile ego once again intact. A scream echoed through the air as Brock ran past the group jumping into the pool fully clothed. Gordon rolled his eyes not once looking away from his book.

"you know they have changing rooms right?" he said, slightly eyeing Brock over the edge of his book. Jarvis looked at the water nervously. Jarvis watched Brock swimming in the cold still water. An odd look of momentary fear came across his face. Chas put a hand on Jarvis' shoulder startling the man.

"Hey, are you okay?" Chas asked, looking at Jarvis' pale face. Jarvis nodded Quickly.

"yeah, hey Brock I agree with Gordon you're gonna catch a cold or something." Brock laughed

"awe, come on, it’s 90 degrees outside. I wanna get as cold as I can." Brock dove into the water unable to hear Javis' complaints.

"But your gonna have to walk around in that, and it's gonna get cold eventually." Mitch rolled his eyes, slightly annoyed.

"Who died and made you his dad?" Jarvis glared at Mitch turning away from Brock for a moment.

"I'm just saying, personally I'd rather not walk around soaking wet- '' An arm grabbed Jarvis' leg yanking him into the water Jarvis screamed in surprise as he fell into the deep pool. Brock popped his head out of the water laughing. His laughter quickly ended though as Jarvis flailed frantically in the water. Brock grabbed the thin man quickly handing him to Gordon who helped yank him out of the pool. Jarvis took deep breaths as he laid on the edge, his body shaking as though he'd just escaped death itself.

"Gezz sorry man," Brock said looking at Jarvis concerned.

"I didn't know you couldn't swim." Jackson glared at Brock angrily.

"You should ask more often, not everyone was taught to swim as a kid, Brock." He said as he wrapped a towel around the freezing mess of a man. Brock looked down apologetically.

"yeah sorry man, hey Jackson do you know how to swim?" Jackson shook his head half as an answer and half in disapproval of the situation.

"no I do not, thank you for asking." Jackson paused for a moment as he said the words, looking towards the camera crew knowingly. Mitch’s eyes glanced towards the pool an odd glimmer of excitement. the group followed his eyes. There she sat, in the biggest sunhat any of the guys had ever seen in their lives reading Who Gose There by John Cambelle. She peeked up from her book, her violet eyes reflecting like the water in front of them, her blond hair tied up in a ponytail as she sat in her scale patterned swimsuit showing the men as much of her perfect skin as she possibly could.

Rick felt an undescribed desire to follow Brock's lead and jump into the icy water. Brock smiled, waving to the blonde beauty. Beverly waved back, a calm smile on her face as she motioned them forward. The group rushed towards the changing rooms. Trampling over each other as they hurried to be the first to see her.

Chas walked behind trying to keep his distance from the group. talking to Brock who made the similar, wise decision. Rick got into a changing room, quickly closing the door as Mitch knocked on it furiously. He looked through his bag finding his swim trunks accompanied with a tank top. it wasn't much but it'd at least protected his confidence. He stepped out of the booth squishing his way past. Mitch who tried to get into the booth Before Gordon tried to yank him out of the way.

"It’s about time fatass" Mitch mumbled as he shoved Rick out of the way.

Jackson, Chas, and Brock sat patiently waiting for their turn as Gordon and Mitch fought over who got to go next. Chas' eyes lingered on Rick for a moment. Rick looked at his outfit ashamed it was the best he had. Mitch’s momentary words seeping into his brain.

"Calm down, you look great!" Chas said, Rick searched Chas' face for any sign of lying. In the end, he couldn't find a single one. Rick smiled back somewhat surprised that Chas managed to read his emotions so quickly. He looked over to Jackson watching for the next booth.

"I thought you couldn't swim," Rick said, Jackson nodded

"I talked with the driver in the cart, he said there was a shallow end. Well, more like I asked and he grunted in approval." Chas looked at the carts baffled.

"how do you grunt in approval? I mean maybe saying uhhuh but-" the door of the dressing room fially slammed shut as Gordon was left outside. He sighed as he reluctantly took off his shirt. Rick felt his self conciseness grow as he looked at Gordon’s shirtless body. As expected the man was built like a tank. Chas looked at Gordon.

"oh yeah, I forgot we could do that," He said as he proceeded to follow suit. Rick turned away from Chas as he felt his face begin to flush. Rick thought about how completely screwed he was right now.

Rick wasn't upset about shirtless Chas. After all, he liked looking at shirtless Chas.

That being said, Chas was even more ripped than Gordon was, and was that an 8 PACK?!? in any other setting, it wouldn't matter, in any other setting Shirtless Chas would be a god sent. Not here though, this was the worst place possible to see shirtless Chas. How the hell was he going to compete with that? Rick inched behind Chas in hopes of hiding his stomach.

Jackson shrugged

"I'm good," Brock nodded, diving back into the water fully clothed. Rick looked at the man in relief. if Chas and Gordon looked like THAT he didn't want to compete with Brock. The guy probably Had a 10 pack or something. Rick jumped in after Brock allowing the water to wash away his daily worries. Chas followed behind diving into the pool. Beverly chuckled as she watched the three dive in. Rick made his way over to Beverly who sat calmly on her chair. He may have been imagining it but he felt a look of disagreement fall over him from the natural beauty’s eyes. Chas swam over to Rick. attempting to keep his spirits up.

"Hey, I found some of those inflatable chair things on the edge of the pool! they also have a fully stocked bar" Rick quickly shoved his insecurity aside quickly jumping on Chas' diversion.

"A bar? Like in the movies?" Chas nodded, sharing in Rick's excitement over the existence of alcohol. Handing him a plastic menu with thousands of different drinks on it. Rick spent hours talking to Chas about which drink was the best on the menu. Brock swam over to Jackson who managed to find the floating chairs. Marcus sat at the bar along with Jarvis who had been too scared to try going back in. Gordon sat in a chair next to Beverly talking to her about her book and thanking her for giving him another chance on the show.

Rick looked towards the stalls.

"Mitch's been in there for a while," Brock said, peering at the door. Chas stared at the door nervously.

"you think he's okay maybe we should check on him?" Rick nodded in agreement, he didn't know why but a bad feeling sat in his gut. not the anxiety from before, no, this was different. the door suddenly swung open. As Mitch left the booth an oddly terrified look on his face as though he saw something inexplicably awful. He looked at Beverly for a moment who returned the look her violet eyes seemed to burn into Mitch's heart as she stared at him. Mitch stormed away from the swimming area.

"Mitch, bro, where are you going?" Brock asked Mitch didn't respond, his pace began to Quicken. one of the cameramen following him.

"Stop Following me, asshole!" Mitch yelled, the cameraman backed up a bit. slightly scared at the sudden outburst. Noah Grand walked towards Mitch.

"what’s wrong hot sh-"

"I want off," Mitch said angrily. Jarvis looked at Mitch with a terrified look on his face. Noah looked at Mitch with a slightly flabbergasted look on his. As he tried to hold onto his fake smile.

"I'm sorry, we're still setting up the house for when you guys-"

"I SAID I WANT OFF!!!" Mitch repeated raising his voice. Noah Grand laughed as he pulled Mitch to the side. The group talked as a shouting match between Mitch and the show's host echoed through the trees. When Mitch came back he seemed defeated, whatever Noah said, it wasn't what Mitch wanted to hear. Mitch limped to the pool reluctantly sitting with the rest of the group, a slightly stunned look on his face. Mitch didn't talk for the rest of the day.

Jarvis looked in the direction of the camera crew, a scared look making its way to his face. He grabbed Marcus' arm pulling him into the changing booth. Rick looked at Chas somewhat confused as Beverly's eyes focused on him. That anxiety, tension, and confusion lingered for the rest of the day.

The talk sessions began once more. Marcus went first as he told Beverly an overly exaggerated story, then Chas who told her about his music, then Jackson who talked about his daughter some more, Gordon and her talked more about her book, Brock and her played Marco polo a game she apparently never played before, Jarvis talked to her about something, he didn't say what and Mitch talked to her for about 1 minute before she sent him away upset. It was finally Rick’s turn as he sat in the beach chair Beverly's eyes focused on him.

Rick did his best to ignore the stare.

"It was so hot today huh," he said, trying to change the unspoken subject. Beverly snapped out of her stupor. she looked at Rick forcing a smile on her face as she nodded. Rick was confused. She seemed so cheary and nice when they first met. Why did she become so cold? Tears suddenly fell from Beverly's perfect eyes as she did her best to stifle her whimpering.

"I'm sorry" she managed to blubber out.

"It's just, Mitch, he said something, something not nice." Rick looked at Beverly in disbelief.

"What did he say?" Rick asked, almost ready to sock Mitch in the face. It had just been one week and he was already hurting people, unbelievable.

"He asked me to do stuff, stuff I didn't want to do. When I said no, he called me a 'bitch' who probably slept with every guy she's met." Rick's eyes went wide in shock. He had expected a lot of things to come out of that man's mouth but for him to say something like THAT?!? Rick hugged Beverly as he let her cry into his shoulder. Beverly's body felt cold as she clutched to Rick. Her slightly wet skin pressed against his body.

"don't listen to a thing that guy says, people like that just say awful stuff so they can break you down. He's said some rude stuff about me too." An oddly cold look came across Beverly's face.

"like what?" she asked with an odd sharpness in her sorrowful voice.

"Well, He called me fatass at one point today." Beverly's eyes went wide with surprise before returning to their original saddened state.

"I'm sorry he said that." an almost guilty look came across her face. Rick laughed, hiding his anxiety.

"It’s not a big deal. It just hurts to hear someone say things you already know," Rick muttered looking at the water. Beverly's eyes peered out Rick swore for a second they turned a light rose color.

"Some people need to keep their mouths shut," she grumbled, her eyes peering to the stall. Rick noded an odd chill making its way up his spine. Beverly was defently odd. Rick still didn't know why but she scared him. it was just like Jarvis said. As scary as she could be, she had a way of drawing people in. Rick sat with Beverly until his turn ended returning to the house again.

Mitch grabbed Rick's arm pulling him aside.

"We need to talk." Rick pulled his arm away from Mitch, anger boiling inside his head.

"yes, we do, Beverly told me you called her a bitch!” Mitch squinted at Rick, an oddly confused look on his face.

"uh yeah, because she is?'' Mitch said dramaticly, Rick's desire to punch Mitch had incressed. He restrained himself as Mitch continued.

"that’s what I wanted to talk to you about, the bitch is fucking crazy. as I don't think this is the first time she's done this type of shit! You can kiss ass as much as you want but it doesn’t change a damn thing." Rick glared at Mitch. More then happy to defend Beverly's honer

"You’re just jealous she doesn’t want to have sex! I don't know WHAT you found on porn hub, or only fans or whatever site a sicko like you goes on but I personally value people beyond who they will or will not sleep with."

"wha- no that’s not what I ment I'm saying she's ******* people! That’s why I think she's ****** sick! I found ********* ***********************! DON'T YOU GET IT! SHE'S GOING TO **** **!" Rick looked at Mitch disgusted he'd say something so vulgar about someone. Mitch covered his mouth in shock, his eyes going wide with terror.

"What did I just say?" Rick glared at Mitch, his frustration boiling as Beverly's ego stood in the balance.

"you know exactly what you said ****!" Mitch looked at Rick surprised. His fear seeming to build as he looked at Rick.

"What did YOU just say? that last- no, it’s her, isn't it?" Rick looked at Mitch confused. an announcement rang through the house announcing the last event of the night. the moment everyone had been scared of. Mitch hesitated as he followed Rick to the courtroom. Rick swore the cameraman smiled as Mitch took his seat. Rick sat himself down.

The others soon joined one by one. Beverly was the last to enter, holding the basket of Delilahs that would determine their fate.

"Now today was a nice day, I had fun and I hope you all did too. there were things about today I liked and things I wasn't as happy about." Beverly's eyes fell on Rick, her eyes burning into his chest. He had a feeling she was mad about his body. It was a challenge of physical prowess and he failed as soon as he stepped on the show. Rick's eyes peered at Mitch who had a worried look on his face. If anyone should be happy for Rick to be sent home it should be Mitch.

Beverly pulled out the first Delilah.

"Gordon, good job today, I was impressed." Gordon proudly took the Delilah before sitting down and going back to his book.

"Brock." Brock cheered as he went to take his flower.

“Chas.” Chas took the flower quietly a satisfied smile made its way to Beverly's face. As the man made his way to his seat. Rick had a good idea why she was smiling. it was the same reason he was smiling to.

"Jackson." Jackson took a flower from Beverly’s hand. Rick eyed the flowers nervously.

"Marcus." Marcus grabbed the flower happily. stummbling back to the stage as he mummbled under his breath. Clearly, the man had been drinking. Noah signaled to the camera men to cut out Marcus' drunken walk.

"... Jarvis." Jarvis hesitated as he looked at the flower in his hands.

Rick felt a pit build in his stomach, he didn't have a flower. He peered at Mitch who looked even more nervous than him. No, nervous wasn't the right word. Something about Mitch seemed horrified as he sat there. Beverly looked at Rick with a slightly sorry look on her face.

"Rick, you’re a nice guy, I like you, but...well, there's only so much a personality can do." Rick felt his heart crush under the weight of Beverly's words. there was no nice way to word it. He knew from the moment he got there he wasn't the perfect cookie-cutter image that belonged here. Beverly didn’t find him physically attractive, that's all there was to it. Beverly turned to Mitch, a less pleasent look on her face.

"Mitch, you know why you're here. I know why you’re here, EVERYBODY in this room knows why you’re here. I don't think I have to explain it, but I will. You aren’t very nice. From what I've heard you've been very MEAN to the other people on this show. and the way you talk to ME is unacceptable."

Mitch turned to Rick glaring at him as though he had something to do with the possibility of his elimination. Rick felt his nerves go on end. if it was anyone other than Mitch he'd be fine. Mitch though, he’s the villain, he's not supposed to be gone yet. Not until later, he was the show’s cash cow. It was him. it HAD to be him going home. Beverly looked between the two, a slight smile making its way to her face.

"What a hard decision," she said, her eyes lying on Mitch whose breathing seemed to quicken as Beverly stared at them. she opened her mouth ready to declare her verdict. As she began to speak a high-pitched voice made its way through the crowd.

"Hold on," Jarvis said, his hand raised.

"I-I-I'm sorry, my heart can't handle much more of this. Beverly, I want to go home now." Beverly looked at the small man stunned. Jarvis sighed, the group looked at Jarvis shocked. Jarvis continued

"Don't get me wrong, it has been fun, and you’re a nice person. but the mosquitos, the wolves, the pool. I-I just don't think this is good for my heart." Beverly's face changed for a moment. The sweet girl Rick had seen up till now had vanished for a moment replaced with a cold disgusted monster of a person. Beverly smiled. Somewhat unnerved by Jarvis' request.

"if you're sure... of course you can go home. it’s been, nice having you here I really am going to miss you," she said her honeyed voice sounded as though she was eating rocks. Jarvis missed the hinted anger in her voice as he stood up from his seat handing Rick his flower. With that Jarvis left waving to the men as he happily prepared to go home.

"**! ****!! ***'** **** ***!!!" Mitch screamed as Jarvis exited the building. Beverly shot a warning glance at Mitch. Jarvis ignored Mitch's rude language. It didn't matter anymore, he was going home. Jarvis hopped in the limo ready to head back to his nice old life.

His friend would probably laugh at him for chickening out he thought, but at least he could say he did it. How many people could say they were on TV? not many, his friend wouldn't be able to deny that.

Not to mention he made a new friend. Jarvis considered calling Walker, why not? they lived in the same area, maybe they could meet up. They could catch a movie or something. He shuffled through his pockets, his phone was missing. It was nowhere to be found. He looked at the driver.

"Sorry I think I left my phone at the house. Could we go back and get it?" The driver didn't respond, his cold face focused on the window.

"I really do need my phone. It has all my contacts in it..." Jarvis repeated leaning over to the driver. The car pulled to a stopped Jarvis peered outside. They were back at the pool. A look of realization spread across his face.

"oh, I get it, good thinking. I probably lost it when we were here." Jarvis got out of the car as he nervously ran to the pool praying his phone was still alive. He checked the bar, nothing, the dressing room, nope. there was only one place left, the pool. Jarvis groined, of course, it must have fallen out when Brock yanked him in. He went to the pool’s edge looking for any sign of his phone.

That’s when a force pressed against his back. Javis fell forward the cold water crashing around him as he failed franticly. he tried to swim against the water unable to move forward. the pain in his lungs growing as they filled with water.

"HELP! HELP ME!!" He cried through gasps of air. but no one was there. no one could help him. No one except... Jarvis screamed for the driver. The driver didn't respond, instead nine people in purple robes came from the darkness. Jarvis felt a moment of relief, people! THERE WERE PEOPLE! Jarvis flailed his way over to the group hoping to be pulled out of the water. the leader of the group leaned over to Jarvis. Jarvis smiled as he got a glimpse of the leader's face.

"Thank god, it’s yo-" The leader pushed on Jarvis' head shoving him deep underwater Jarvis clawed at his attacker’s hand surprised by their strength. only one word running through his mind.

"escape!

escape!!

Escape!!!

ESCAPE!!!!" Jarvis lost his vision as his body began to go numb. it was over. not just the pain in his chest, but also the fear. He no longer had to be afraid, he didn't have to call Walker anymore. as Walker’s face came towards him. Jarvis ran towards Walker, his breath leaving his body as he desperately clung to one of his friends. No, Walker was his only friend now. He’d never have to be scared ever again. He was free now as he held onto Walker.

That’s when things went black. That’s when Jarvis breathed his last breath. his body went limp as he floated to the surface. The leader checked his pulse stabbing a steak knife through his heart to make certain. Sure enough, Jarvis was gone, no he was home. This is what he wanted. To go home.

The figures dragged Jarvis' body to the place that was now Walker’s tomb, dumping it off the cliff never to be seen again.

The ringing of a phone echoed from the second figure's pocket. The figures looked between each other, panicked. The second figure answered the phone.

"Hello?" He said, a woman's voice echoed on the other side.

"Hey, who is this?"

"A friend, Who are you?" The figure asked doing his best to change his voice.

"I'm Rachel, could you hand the phone to Jarvis, I wanted to-"

"Jarvis isn't with us, he went home." the Figure said

"what the heck does tha-'' The figure hung up tossing the phone in the water. The two figures returned pleased with their disposal of the nervous man. The second figure pulled out phone after phone, tossing them into the water below. Jarvis' body would stay there, trapped in the cold unsteady waters. hungry for its next victim. Never to escape again.
