In the Depths of Darkness – A Crying Soul
In the Depths of Darkness – A Soul Weeping in Silence"

It was around 3 AM. Silence reigned all around, and the cold night breeze made the curtains flutter. But in the silence, there was something else—a faint sound, like someone crying softly.
Light on, Rafi sat in a corner of his room, fully awake. He was a completely different person just a few days ago. a skeptical individual, even mocking religion. Prayers? Fasting? Hell or heaven? He mocked them, describing them as "fairy tales."
But one night changed everything. What he experienced that night shook him to the core—and he was never the same again.
The First Encounter
It began on his way home from a friend’s party. It was nearly midnight. The streets were empty, quiet. As he passed an old graveyard, he saw someone standing near the gate. The man’s face was partly hidden by mist, but his eyes—cold and haunting—were clearly visible.
Rafi stopped, unnerved. The man stepped forward and asked,“Have you forgotten about death?”
Startled, Rafi asked, “Who are you?”The man replied,“I’m the soul whose funeral was never prayed, whose grave was never dug, whose name is forgotten by all.”
Suddenly, the air felt heavier. From deep within the graveyard came the eerie sound of crying.
Rafi ran. He bolted home, locked the door, heart pounding. But that was just the beginning.

Every Night at 3 AM
After that night, strange things started happening—always at exactly 3 AM. Doors creaked open by themselves. Scratch marks appeared on walls. And in the mirror, something would be written:“Your time is coming.”
Rafi couldn’t sleep. One night, in a dream, he saw his own grave—with his name carved on the tombstone. From inside the earth, a voice screamed,“You never prayed, never fasted, never repented—now face the punishment!”
He woke up in a cold sweat. It was too real. Terrified, he started reading the Qur'an and Hadiths. He came across a saying of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him):“The grave is either a garden from the gardens of Paradise, or a pit from the pits of Hell.”– (Tirmidhi)
He remembered his parents’ repeated advice, “Son, pray now, because death comes without warning.” He had ignored them.
The Final Affair Rafi went back to the cemetery one night, determined to confront whatever it was. It was 3 AM. He saw the same man, this time crying beside an old grave.
Rafi approached. The man said in a broken voice,“No one prayed for me, no one remembered me. Now… it’s your turn.”
Rafi trembled. “Who are you?” he asked.
The man pointed at a freshly dug grave. On the headstone, it read:“Rafi bin Karim – Died: April 10, 2025”
Rafi screamed and woke up—sweating, gasping for breath. It felt more than a dream. Everything felt real.
A New Life
From that night, Rafi changed. He started praying five times a day. He read the Qur’an regularly. At night, he cried in sujood, seeking Allah’s forgiveness. He told his friends:
“Brothers, don’t forget about death. The punishment of the grave is real. I’ve seen it. I’ve felt it.”
People talked. Some said Rafi lost his mind. Others believed he had seen something from the unseen. But Rafi didn’t care. He knew what he had witnessed. It was a second chance—a warning from the Almighty.
Final Message
We all chase this world. Yet the grave calls us every day—“I am darkness. Light me with your deeds.”
If we don’t return to Allah now, tomorrow might be too late.Life is short. Death is forever. Are you ready?
