I Hit Play. Something Hit Back.

A forgotten diary. A voice you weren’t meant to hear.

By Ena MarrowPublished 7 months ago 1 min read

I’ve been working on something.

A new podcast. Something I recorded a while back and finally decided to drop.

The first episode airs this Friday.

I queued it up… just to hear how it sounded.

But when I hit play —

something didn’t feel right.

Something didn’t sound like me.

The pauses.

The tone.

The space between the words.

I don’t remember saying it like that.

I don’t remember the static.

I know it’s my voice.

But it feels like something else is in it now.

I uploaded something.

No episode number.

Just a title that feels more like a warning than a name.

You’ll know which one.

The voice starts before the sound does.

Anyway…

It’s scheduled. I’m letting it drop.

You’ll hear it Friday.

It’s called Twisted Night Tales.

You tell me if it sounds off.

Or if I’m just hearing things.
