Hunted place

It was a cold autumn night and the wind was howling through the trees. The moon shone brightly in the sky, illuminating the forest and casting strange shadows across the clearing.

John had come to this spot many times before, but tonight something was different. He could feel a strange presence in the air and the hairs on the back of his neck were standing on end. He was sure he heard a whisper on the wind, but he couldn’t make out the words.

Suddenly, a loud crash came from the woods nearby. John jumped and looked around, but he couldn’t see anything. He started to walk away, but then he heard the whisper again. This time, he could make out the words: “Come closer.”

John hesitated, but curiosity got the better of him. He stepped closer to the edge of the woods and peered in. His heart skipped a beat when he saw a figure standing in the darkness. It was a woman with long, dark hair and a pale face. She was wearing a long, white dress and her eyes seemed to pierce right through him.

John wanted to run, but he was paralyzed with fear. The woman stepped out of the shadows and slowly walked towards him. When she was close enough, she spoke in a soft voice: “I’ve been waiting for you, John.”

John backed away, but he couldn’t move fast enough. The woman reached out and grabbed his arm. Her grip was like iron and she pulled him towards her. She opened her mouth and let out a terrifying scream.

John tried to break free, but it was too late. The woman had already taken control of his mind and body.

For the next few hours, John was her puppet. He followed her every command and did whatever she asked. Eventually, the sun began to rise and the woman disappeared back into the woods.

John never returned to that spot again. To this day, he still feels the chill of fear whenever he remembers that night.
