Hunt for the haunted box

Me and my team hunt for a haunted box that’s guarded by a demonic spirit and we experience a tragedy to our team

Ok well after the hunt for the Kentucky troll and my gangs brief break were I took time to review the Artemis fowl book, me and my gang are back on the track to our job hunting down crypts and other paranormal entities for both are and your enjoyment (Oh also I encourage u to checkout the Artemis fowl review I took a lot of time into it). Anyway back on the road this time “so what this time doc” Steve asked me “this time we are gonna search for a box” Steve raised his eyebrow to this “a box, really?” He said to me in a tone that was very un-interested, “Not just anybox this one it contains a demonic spirit and we are gonna bring it back to my parents house to show them” it was at this point Steve perked up and it caught his attention “uh are u sure this is a good idea I mean just cause your parents kicked you doesn’t mean u need to put there safety in” but to this I b-slapped Steve in a member similiar to bravis and butthead, and then gave a firm “shut up”.

Later on we arrived to the abandon hotel were the box is said to reside and after realizing the door was locked with a much stronger lock that the prior one, Joey busted a window “dude what the F” I said as the sound of glass breaking echoed thru the dark quiet night “what we needed to get in right” Joey replied to me in a snarky tone of voice, after this we all walked into the hotel and this time around we all stayed together due to the extremely dangerous nature of what we are looking for. As we climbed the stairs we heard a loud screech it sounded like a mixture of a human scream the sound one makes when they are about to get murdered and a spider monkey which made all of us jump (except for Steve). But we kept on going, however an hour into Joey was pushed over a 3rd story railing and fell 30ft landing with a loud crack and at this point the group let out a stream of curse words and Maddy (as instructed) ran to Joey except me and Steve we went on for the box. As we walked thru the dark corridors, our footsteps echoed thru the emptiness of the hallways there was always his feeling of being watched at every turn you made and it was a very uneasy feeling for sure, About 30 minutes into Steve began to question if we should go back for his cousin “no this box is important Maddy is keeping him well” I said back to him as we kept on going, however as we checked room 667 Steve was suddenly shoved out of the room his feet flying 2 feet off the ground like a father tossing there child into a pool Steve was thrown out of the room banging his head on the wall smashing a head size hole in the decrepit breaking wall as dust littered the coughing Steve I looked up and saw a shadowy creature it was about 6ft 7inches, as dark as night with glowing read eyes (it looked almost like the grim reaper) and it was at this moment that for the first time in all my years of doing this that I froze and I felt myself freeze up like my whole body just went numb with fear as all the color was sucked from me I couldn’t even make out a yell but seeing the box after about 3 minutes but what Felt like forever I made a dash for it only to be throw back and pinned to the wall. I felt my heart get tighter as if this thing was reaching inside me and squeezing my heart tighter and tighter I moaned in pure pain gasping as I struggled to breath, I looked at Steve pinned to the wall my feet dangling a inch above the ground I choked out “get....the...box” and Steve shook off the dizziness and dashed for the box and as he got it and mad a rub the spirit must have seen this as I was dropped the ground the pressure reversed and I was coughing i could breath again, however I knew Steve was in trouble so I drew a binging social and did a quick black magick spell then activated it using my blood this I saw temporarily bound the spirit to the hallway from the room as Steve and I made a dash for the stairs and quickly ran down them. I gotta say I don’t think I ever ran as fast I did down those stairs I mean I did track and I never ran as fast I did down those stairs we stopped momentarily as Joey was unconscious his back broken, I had Steve pick him up and we all high tailed it out of the building as we all heard a loud screech and this one we could tell was just filled with rage with pure anger, this thing was mad, it wanted retribution it wanted us, Me and team we got in the RV and drove off as fast as we drove off so fast let’s just say if it wasn’t for this virus you bet that I would have gotten a ticket for speeding.

Later on as the sun risen above the clouds we got to my parents and I gave them the box saying “I think this will change your mind on the paranormal, open it but open it at 3:00 at night” and with that after they took the box from my hands and closed the door I with a smile on my face walked back to the RV and once we took Joey to the hospital and they told us he was in critical condition but they would call us if anything changes, and with that we all went back to the RV again and to help the mood me i got out drinks out and made a toast to the very excitement of our jobs as paranormal investigators and for this amazing website for posting all our adventures on it with Steve and me have daiquiris and Maddy having a root beer, and the cheers did lighten the mood, nothing like a drink to lighten any mood eh
