How Bludworth Survived Death?
He Knows A Lot About Death But How Did He Survived from Death.

In Final Destination films, Bludworth (played by Tony Todd) was known to be the "Grim Reaper" and the Coroner of the film series. Bludworth has been an expert on Death giving advice on how to escape from Death that was until the Final Destination: Bloodlines, which would be Todd's final performance, Todd's character William John Bludworth (his full name) actually escaped Death decades ago at the Sky View where he was supposed to die along with his mother who was the singer of the band at the Skyview. During the until Iris who was in her 20s (played by Brec Bassinger) who had a Premonition that everyone is going to die on the Skyview, she stops the performance just to saving everyones lives including Bludworth. In the Final Destination: Bloodlines, Iris (played by Gabrielle Rose) now at old age, dying of cancer in hiding away from had two grown children who have their own children. One of their children, Stefani (played by Kaitlyn Santa Juana) had the same premonition met with Iris. Iris was living in a gated solitary home away from the outside world. Iris gives Stefani a book that shows who will die next and information on what happened after the SkyView to save their family before accepting Death's fate. After her death, Iris's son (played by Alex Zahara) dies next and Stefani's cousin (played by Anna Lore) which made Stefani get depth with Grandma Iris's book.
In the first Final Destination, when two teenagers Alex Browning and Clear Rivers (played by Devon Sawa and Ali Larter) who survived the Flight 180 crash where they met Bludworth as a when they first met he comes off as scary explaining about Death and giving advice on how to survive or cheat Death. Throughout the film sequels, Blubworth has made appearances giving advice with young people just to survive from Death. That was until half of the characters ended up dead after being skipped or somewhat near death experiences.
By the end of the film, it appears that Bludworth has accepted his fate and is no longer trying to fight death, making his final scene a poignant farewell to both the character and the actor which was off script and wishes them all good luck. Before Todd's passing, according to Director Adam Stein Tony was really excited about Bludworth's story origin story.
Though Stefani, her mother and her brother are all killed at the end of "Bloodlines," assuming the film performs well at the box office, it's safe to expect a seventh movie will happen, likely with another entirely new cast. But there is one loose end the next film could follow up on: Bludworth confirms Kimberly Corman (A.J. Cook), the visionary from "Final Destination 2," successfully cheated death, opening up the possibility of her return for a future sequel − possibly even to succeed Bludworth as mentor to the next group of doomed teens or who knows what would happen.
But what blow me off in these film series, how come Iris and Clear were hiding in solitary away from Death trying to come after them but Bludworth ended up working as a coroner and a mortician and not in hiding like Iris and Clear since they all have escaped from Death. Maybe he was assigned by Death just to clean up the dead bodies or be this Grim Reaper like type of character. I guess as long as Iris was surviving Death, the longer Bludworth was surviving from Death which makes Bludworth the last survivor to die from the SkyView premonition.
At least, I got a chance to see Todd's final performance as Bludworth in Final Destination but I am saddened that it had to end this way. Rest in Peace Tony Todd.
