On Saturday night, we three sisters stayed up and talked until late at night. It must have been two o'clock in the morning. As soon as you come out.
I finished preparing the dinner, then while leaving the kitchen, my eyes fell on the clock on the wall. It was too late. On the way, the Maghrib call to prayer had already started, the children will say, today momma forgot to take us from tuition, I thought, I moved towards their tuition center with quick steps.
"Mama, you took so long," said seven-year-old Rehan, looking at me with complaining eyes, while six-year-old Anam was also walking with her face wide open. We will obey you when you let us stay at Nano's house on Saturday.
Let's go quickly, you people's fathers will also be coming home. I took both of their hands and entered the street in front. She hesitated while passing.
"Ugh, mom, I'm scared to see how scary this house is," Rihan said while looking at house number 450, which was completely dark, and strange horror was pouring out. After finishing work at night, when I lay on the bed, I suddenly saw that house in front of my eyes. My past was connected with this house.
My name is Alina, we have three sisters and one brother. My father was in the army, while my mother was a simple housewife.
I was in Inter so Baba took a big house on Amma's wish because the house we were in That house seemed too small to us, the day Baba bought a new house, we all brothers and sisters were very happy. This two-story bungalow was very beautiful. The lower part had three bedrooms, a large TV lounge, a drawing room and a kitchen, while the upper part had three bedrooms. Part had two bedrooms TV lounge and a study room.
There was a small garden with neem and plum trees and a car porch big enough to park one car.
My elder sister Mehreen who was two years older than me and then younger Sana who was one year older then me and our youngest brother who was in seventh grade at that time.
We three sisters took the upstairs bedroom while Haris stayed with Amma Baba downstairs. As we three sisters are quite shy, we used to sleep together in one bedroom.
On the day we shifted, we were very tired and finished packing the stuff till late night.
Do the rest of the work tomorrow. Now go to sleep. When mom finished eating, we all three sisters came up and lay down. We were so tired that we fell asleep as soon as we laid down. It was not long before I fell asleep. It sounded like someone was knocking on the door, I got up and opened the door and there was a black cat standing in front of me staring at me. Seeing it, I screamed involuntarily. At my scream, my sisters got up in panic, "Is everything okay?" Mehreen came to me and asked.
"You are afraid of the cat." He said looking at the cat in surprise and I got back to the bed and lay down.
On Saturday night, we three sisters stayed up and talked till late at night. It must have been two o'clock in the morning. As soon as we opened the door of the room while we were talking, it seemed as if the sound of talking was coming from the kitchen. put it on and entered the front room. We didn't understand what had happened, then we saw a burning stove in front of us and smelled it.As something was cooking, Laharin went ahead and shut the stove. All three of us were nervous. We mentioned this to my mother the next day, on which she scolded us to go to bed early.
Tawar Khala had come to meet us with her family till late at night, she went to her house, then we three sisters and mother were sitting on the couch in the TV lounge below, talking while Abu and Haris had gone to sleep to see mother. She was lying on the stairs, Hey Alina, son, look up, is there any child left? Aunty had small children. Very mischievously, mother felt that there was no child left upstairs. At the words of my mother, our eyes also rose to the stairs going up, and I saw the shadow of a little child on the wall. told Ami that there is no one upstairs, so Ami also became silent.
We were all wondering who the shadow belonged to when there was no child above.
All of us in the family had to go to Islamabad for my cousin's wedding. Two weeks later, when we came back home, we were surprised. The whole house was shining like glass. He was very surprised, but Haris said that it seems that the worker used to come and go to work every day.
When I went to the bathroom to wash my face, I was shocked to see the wet floor of the bathroom. It looked like someone had used the bathroom.
Then it became normal, when the members of the house were out of the house, the bathroom would also be used and in the kitchen there would be sounds of rustling late at night. We would see that black cat roaming around the house.
People were now slowly becoming accustomed to such things when that horrible incident took place.
After which we immediately left that house. At some point in the night, mother opened her eyes and felt that there was someone on the roof. They thought that we sisters were busy talking instead of sleeping. They came to the roof with heavy feet and saw ten and twelve strange-looking people sitting in a round circle. The scene was so terrible that Ammi fainted for Fajr prayer. Not finding Ami in the room, they came to the lounge and saw Ami lying face down on the stairs. On regaining consciousness, when Ammi narrated the night scene, Abu immediately decided that it was better to leave the house before any major damage was done, so we left the house.
Today, even after so many years, a cold wave of fear enters our bodies when we think that what we thought was a cat for six months was actually a jinn.
