My first story

By Thariq AnvarPublished 3 years ago 3 min read

The old mansion on the hill had always been a source of mystery and fear in the small town of Millfield. The towering structure had been abandoned for years, and locals whispered stories of strange sounds, eerie shadows, and even disappearances. Most people avoided the place, but a group of young friends - Alex, Sarah, Mark, and Rachel - had always been curious about it. One day, they decided to explore the mansion, unaware of the horror that awaited them.

As the friends approached the mansion, they could feel their nerves twitching with excitement and fear. The house was bigger than they had imagined, with ivy covering the walls and windows boarded up. The front door was locked, but they found a way in through a broken window on the side of the house.

The inside of the mansion was dark and musty, with cobwebs covering the walls and furniture. The friends cautiously made their way through the first floor, exploring each room as they went. They found nothing out of the ordinary, just old furniture covered in dust and cobwebs.

As they made their way up to the second floor, they began to notice strange sounds. At first, it was just creaking floorboards and the sound of wind blowing through broken windows. But as they continued to explore, the sounds grew louder and more distinct. They could hear footsteps in the hallway, whispers in the distance, and the sound of doors slamming shut.

The friends grew more and more afraid with each passing moment. They huddled together in the middle of a dark, empty room, their flashlights flickering in the darkness. Suddenly, they heard a bloodcurdling scream coming from somewhere in the house. They froze in terror, unsure of what to do next.

Sarah was the first to break the silence. "We need to get out of here," she said, her voice shaking with fear. "This place is haunted."

But before they could make their way out, they heard another sound - the sound of someone or something breathing heavily, coming closer and closer to where they were standing. Suddenly, the door burst open, and a figure appeared in the doorway.

It was a tall, gaunt man with pale skin and wild eyes. He was wearing a torn suit and holding a rusty knife in his hand. The friends tried to run, but the man was too fast. He chased them through the dark, winding hallways of the mansion, his laughter echoing through the halls.

As they ran, they stumbled upon a hidden room. It was filled with dusty old books, strange symbols, and an eerie red glow. The man appeared behind them, and they realized they had nowhere left to run.

The man started to chant in a language they didn't understand. The room grew colder and colder, and the red glow grew brighter. Suddenly, a portal opened up in the center of the room, and the man pushed them all inside.

They found themselves in a dark, twisted version of the mansion. The walls were covered in strange symbols, and the air was thick with the stench of decay. They were surrounded by strange, twisted creatures, some with human features and some beyond recognition.

The friends realized they were trapped in a nightmare. They had to find a way out before they became one of the twisted creatures themselves. They searched the mansion for hours, but every door they tried was locked, every window too small to escape through.

As they wandered the dark halls, they started to hear whispers coming from the shadows. They couldn't tell what the whispers were saying, but they could feel them growing louder and more urgent.

Suddenly, one of the creatures appeared in front of them. It was a twisted, grotesque version of the man who had chased them earlier. He lunged at them with his knife, and they
