Introduction

There was a small village located in a remote area of India - "Kalipur". People's faces would turn pale on hearing the name of this village. No stranger dared to go there. It is said that some strange events used to happen there at night. Screams, laughter, shadows, and sometimes mysterious figures were seen.

Today I am going to tell you a true incident of that village, which had shaken every person there.

History of the village

Kalipur village was not an ordinary village. It is said that a terrible tragedy had happened here a hundred years ago. The king of the village had cheated a sadhu in greed. The sadhu got angry and cursed the village - "No happiness will last here, and the shadows of death will awaken as soon as the night falls."

Slowly the village started becoming deserted. Crops dried up, children started falling ill, and people started dying mysteriously. Whoever went out of the village at night, never returned.
Current event
This story is about Radhika, a journalist. She was fond of reporting on strange events. When she heard about Kalipur, her curious mind compelled her to go there. Everyone forbade her to go there – but she did not listen.

One morning she left for Kalipur with her camera and recorder. It was evening by the time she reached the village. There was silence all around. There was no human being to be seen anywhere. Broken huts, crumbling walls, and shadows hiding in the bushes… there was a strange suffocation in the atmosphere.

The first night

Radhika chose an empty house in the middle of the village and set up her camp there. By nine in the night, the air started getting cold. Then suddenly she started hearing some sounds from outside – as if a woman was crying softly.

She went out with the recorder. There was dense darkness all around. The moon was also hidden behind the clouds. She started moving in the direction of the sound. After going a little further, she saw an old well. A blurred figure was bent near the well – a woman with disheveled hair, wrapped in a white sari.

Radhika called out, "Who is there?"

The woman raised her head slowly. Her eyes were blood red. Radhika's heart sank. Her feet froze with fear.

Then the woman disappeared – as if she had never existed.

Mysteries of the village

Frightened, Radhika ran back home. She listened to the entire recording – but there was no sound in the recorder. Everything was absolutely silent.

The next day, Radhika met the only surviving old man in the village. His name was Haripal. In a trembling voice, he said,

"You have seen her, daughter. Now it is difficult for you to survive."

Radhika asked in shock, "Who was she?"

The story that Haripal told was spine-chilling. "She was a village girl - Rambha. Beautiful, innocent and everyone's favourite. One day the king's soldiers tried to rob her of her honour. Rambha jumped into the well and killed herself. Since then her spirit keeps wandering near the well, seeking revenge for her humiliation. Anyone who sees her, dies a mysterious death within a few days."

The growing shadows of fear

Radhika ignored Haripal's words thinking they were rumours. But that night when she was sleeping, someone whispered softly in her ear. She woke up in panic - there was no one in the room. Suddenly she saw written in blood on the wall - "You will not be able to survive."

Now Radhika started feeling really scared. She decided to leave the village as quickly as possible. Before dawn, she sat in her car and started leaving the village.

Scary scene on the way

Radhika's car was passing through a deserted forest. Then the engine of the car stopped. She got out in a state of worry and started opening the bonnet. At that moment, she felt that someone had come very close to her.

When she turned back, she saw the same woman in white sari – her face was even more terrifying now, her eyes burning red, and her face completely burnt. Radhika screamed and started running.

But the more she ran, the more the path ended. It seemed as if she was trapped in an endless labyrinth.

A horrific end

Finally, exhausted, Radhika fell under an old peepal tree. That woman was standing in front of her eyes. Radhika apologized, pleaded – but that spirit just laughed a horrifying laugh and pounced on Radhika.

The next morning, when some people from the village went towards the forest, they found Radhika's car – the door was open, the engine was running, but there was no trace of Radhika.

Only her recorder was lying under the tree – which had the last recording:

"I am Rambha... now you are mine..."

Conclusion

Even today, no one dares to go to Kalipur village at night. It is said that whoever sees Rambha's spirit there, never returns. Even now at night, the sound of someone crying comes from the well. An untold terror floats in the air.

If you ever pass by a deserted village, and a figure wrapped in a white sari calls you from a distance – then do not look back...

Because it could be Rambha... who is still searching for you to complete her incomplete story...
