The diary of a dead girl ! Horror story ! Daravni kahani
Horror story!

1. The first night
When Rajveer found a house on rent in an old locality of Lucknow, he was very happy. He did not know that there was a deep story hidden behind that house. The house was very cheap but stood alone in a deserted street – completely desolate, as if no one had knocked on the door for years.
The first night when he made his bed, he heard someone crying from outside the window. He thought it might be an animal. But when he listened carefully, it was the sound of a girl sobbing.
2. Finding the diary
The next day, while cleaning the house, Rajveer found an old, dusty diary inside the cupboard. The name written on it was "Anshika Malhotra, Class 11th".
As soon as he turned the pages of the diary, a strange coolness spread in the room. Her writing was full of fear and pain — “Mother says I have gone mad, but that man comes to my window every night…”
3. Shadow
When Rajveer continued reading the diary at night, the lights in the room suddenly went off. He turned on the torchlight of his mobile and saw — there was a shadow outside the window. As soon as he went near the window, the shadow disappeared.
The next page of the diary was even scarier — “Today I told Mother that that man has come inside the house now. He is hiding in my cupboard. But Mother slapped me…”
4. Screams trapped in the walls
The next day Rajveer asked an old man of the neighbourhood, “Why was this house empty?”
The old man said in a trembling voice, “Son, a girl had died mysteriously in that house. It is said that she had committed suicide, but her body was never found…”
Rajveer's heart started beating. Was that diary of the same girl? Was she still in the house… in some other form?
5. Third night – the truth came out
That night Rajveer vowed to read the entire diary. On the last page it was written, “I know he will kill me tonight. If anyone reads my diary, please free my soul. I am inside the cupboard… forever.”
Rajveer’s body went cold.
He got up and opened the cupboard… There was nothing there… But as soon as he turned around, a girl wrapped in a white cloth was standing in front of him. Face burnt, eyes bloodshot…
6. Trying to escape
Rajveer tried to run away from the house screaming, but the door was locked from inside. The girl was slowly moving towards him. Just then the power went out. In the darkness, there was only the sound of her breathing… and Anshika’s sobs.
7. After a week
Neighbours say that Rajveer was found at home after a week… in an unconscious state, eyes open and foam coming out of the mouth. He did not talk to anyone; he just kept muttering one thing – “It is still in the cupboard… Now it is my turn…” "Shadow of the Black Night – The True Horror Story of a Haunted Well | Horror Story
Shadow of the Black Night
(A A true haunted story)
The village named 'Bhanpur', located on the eastern edge of Uttar Pradesh, looked very normal from the outside – lush green fields, mud houses, and simplicity of people. But an old and dilapidated well located in the middle of this village was the most terrifying identity of this village. The old people of the village called it 'Dead Well'. The reason? Till now, five people had mysteriously disappeared from that well. No body of anyone was found; only screams echoed.
There was a legend prevalent in the village – "Every Amavasya night, when the whole village sleeps, a shadow comes out of the well... to find someone... to take someone with itself..."
The beginning of the shadow
It is said that about 30 years ago, a young girl of the village – Kamla – used to come to this well every day to fill water. Her beauty was talked about in the nearby villages. But this very beauty became the cause of her death.
One night, the village landlord – Raghuvir Singh – in a drunken state saw Kamla alone in the well. He attacked her. Kamla shouted, but in the darkness of the night and the solitude of the well, no one came to her aid. Eventually, Raghuvir pushed her into the well, and her soul was trapped in the same well.
It is said that Kamla’s soul still comes out on every Amavasya – in search of justice, to find the soul of her murderer.
Raju’s courage and destruction
It was a cold night in 2024, the month of December. Some youngsters of the village – Raju, Anshu, and Vikram – were warming themselves by the bonfire. The mention of horror stories came up, and Anshu jokingly said,
“There are no ghosts in wells. These are all old men’s stories.”
Raju, who always tried to show himself as the bravest, said,
“If you have so much courage, let’s go to the well tonight.”
Vikram refused in nervousness, but Raju was adamant. Finally, everyone decided that Raju would go alone and bring a stone from the well as proof.
The clock was striking exactly 12 midnight. There was silence all around. Raju’s steps slowly started moving towards the well. The moon was missing on the night of Amavasya; the sky was covered with clouds. Somewhere far away a dog was crying – a sign of a bad omen.
First touch of fear
As soon as Raju reached near the well, suddenly a cold wind started blowing around him. He felt that someone was watching him. He took out a torch from his pocket, but as soon as he lit the torch – it went off. He thought maybe the battery had run out.
Now he started searching for a stone in the well with his hand. Then suddenly he heard the sound of a woman crying from the well – very soft, but full of pain.
As soon as Raju looked, a black figure like smoke started coming out of the well. It was a shadow of a woman, floating in the air. Long dishevelled hair, red eyes and a monstrous shadow wrapped in black smoke.
Raju tried to move back, but his feet seemed to be stuck to the ground. The shadow came right in front of him and said in a low voice,
“My revenge is still incomplete… Raghuveer… Where is it…?”
Raju fell unconscious on the ground.
The truth of the next morning
In the morning, the villagers found Raju unconscious outside the temple. The mark of fear was clearly visible on his face. His eyes were red, and he was continuously mumbling the same thing:
“She is coming… She is calling me… every Amavasya…”
There was a stir in the village. The priest of the temple said that this is not an ordinary soul. It is a bound soul – which has neither got peace nor liberation.
The priest said that Kamla's soul will be at peace only when Raghuveer's soul is caught and brought in front of him.
Twist of the story: Raghuveer's return
The villagers remembered that Raghuveer Singh has now become an old man and lives somewhere in the city. But see the game of fate – after a few days Raghuveer returned to the village. He was ill and wanted to spend the last days of his life in the village.
As soon as Raju came to know, he became more scared. He was still under the influence of the soul. He said that the shadow now comes in dreams every night and says,
"His time has come..."
The night of Amavasya came again. This time the villagers decided Raghuveer will be taken to the well so that the soul can get justice.
Final justice
At 12 o'clock in the night, Raghuveer was forcibly brought to the well. As soon as he reached there, dark clouds started thundering in the sky. The same shadow came out of the well again – but this time even more scary, even more powerful.
She walked straight towards Raghuveer and looked him in the eyes. Raghuveer fell down screaming – blood was coming out of his mouth and his body was shaking. Kamala’s spirit took hold of him.
Raghuveer’s screams gradually subsided.
The next morning, only her slippers were found near the well – the body was never found.
The end of the story – but not the end
Raju is fine now. But he left the village. His last words:
“She took revenge, but the shadow is still there… Maybe she is guarding that well now…”
The well is now closed with iron chains. But the villagers say –
“On the night of Amavasya, if you listen quietly… Someone still whispers, ‘My revenge is complete… but my spirit is now the protector of this place…’”
Discrimination
Not only spreads poison in the society but also forces many souls to wander. A ghost is retribution for an injustice that the living ignore."
