Slowly my eyelids fluttered, waking up to glimpses of metallic benches, bulletproof plastic windows with graffiti drawings on it. As I slowly sit up, I had pain in my head as if someone knocked me out blind, and my ribs were bruised too. As I looked around to see if anyone was on the train , it was empty. I began to search my pockets to see if I could find any clues , I found nothing but lint and gum wrappers. I looked out the window; and it seemed like the train was not slowing down, it was at least speeding 70 -80mph. While I am trying to find help, walking to the next cart, I enter and I see 17 people aboard on the train. I yell for help, but no one responded as if they were deaf. I walk towards this man who was wearing a black tuxedo, Caucasian, dark brown hair, blue eyes age range was like 35 years old. I asked the man, what is going on here? The man did not respond, CAN ANYONE HERE ME?! Still no response: no one speaks, they seemed possessed. I walked to the next cart but it led to the back of the train. Their was nothing but midst of strong wind and the appearance showed as color traces.
I went back inside the train and the seventeen passengers disappeared. HELLO! ANYBODY! It was so hard to cope with what I saw and what happened to me. I sat and contemplated my next steps: What am I going to do? How will I ever get out of here? I started to feel lightheaded: my vision was changing, my breathing became irregular, I was having a panic attack. I fell down and passed out on the ground. Moments later, I heard a voice fading in and out. A voice of a woman, HELLO! CAN YOU HEAR ME?! I opened my eyes and their I saw a woman. While she was trying to gain my clarity back, I focused my vision on my surroundings. I stood up and saw two men and one woman. Thank God someone is here on the train with me. "What is going on?" How did we get here?" I asked. They were not sure of themselves. The other passengers stated that they woke up no identity nothing in their pockets. I told them what I saw when I first woke up, the passengers looked dumbfounded.
Look I am suggesting that we all should stick together and figure out how we can get out of here said the male passenger. I suggested that we should go to the operator room, the room where the mechanical tools and gadgets are placed and controlled. As we entered this cart, we were surprised. The room was filled with elegant decorations and fancy feasts. The passengers started to dig in and eat. One of the female passenger asked "Don't you think it is a coincidence that this food is here?" Coming out of a dark shadow, their was a scary old man who happens to be someone I saw before but did not remember. The old man was six foot tall, Caucasian, black tuxedo, hair white as snow. Greetings passengers, I am Gregory and I am here to make your stay comfortable on this historical train he said with a smirk.
The male passenger grabbed Gregory by his neck and threaten him, demanded him to tell us why we are here on this train. I quickly took the guy right off Gregory, and asked the butler where we were at. Gregory explained that it was not a coincidence that you all have met and end up here on this train. You all share the same quality in life and that is treasure hunting. "What does treasure hunting have to do with us being on this train said the male passenger? What is our names too? Gregory responded you do not have names, you are known as Passengers 1-4. Is this some type of joke is it a game! said with frustration the male passenger. The butler said yes it is indeed a game, a mind game, the game is called The Last Train. There are 4 keys that you will need to discover to get to the operator room. You will enter into another dimension on this train, find the keys and you will be set free. What is the catch? I asked. The catch is only two passengers will succeed and the other two remains trapped on the train of doom. In order for you to successfully complete this game is if you know the difference between what is realistic. The matter of life and death.
This is ridiculous! said the male passenger I did not ask to be here! Let me off this train! There is no way out but to play the game I said to him. How will we know the difference between what is real and what is not real? I asked Gregory. Gregory was absent, we did not know where Gregory went. The passengers were startled and afraid, there were so many questions to to ask but no one here to answer them. Okay everybody let us calm down and figure this out I said. JUST OPEN THE DOOR!
All passengers are afraid, body glistening with sweat, nervousness, wondering what is my fate. I opened the door, the other passengers follow behind. I entered, and I see a velvet red dark room almost as if we were in a museum. This room had ancient artifacts and antiques that looked like their were thousands of years in age. Paintings, canvas, frames of photos were on the wall. Alright lady and gentleman, we need to find these keys so we can get the hell out of here. Where should we look first? I asked. Lets just spread out and find anything suspicious or out of the ordinary said the woman. So we all spread out and look for the keys, I saw the artifacts and went towards that. As I read it, I found something useful as far as what train we were on. I read that the trains were invented in the 1800's, but this specific train was remodeled in the nineteenth century, the first train to be the fastest train in country, Bella. The train Bella was developed to be the fastest train to cross the country within 2-3 days instead of weeks.
The train went missing in October 15, 1959. People believed that the train had technological issues, and believed it was a scandal and somewhat deviated by the history of the train. It was said that the people who engineered the train and worked as a conductor or butler in that sort, killed the passengers on the train and stole all their precious expensive belongings and never seen again. I called for the other passengers and told them what I read. So that means, Gregory was one of those employers that killed the passenger said the male passenger. I said we do not know that yet, he is an old man and I do not think he is capable of harming any of us. As I flipped the page I found a rusty old key. This is probably one of the keys Gregory was talking about. Just moments after finding the key, I hear do not show whisper in my ear. I looked around to see if anyone was behind me and no one was there, so I put the key in my pocket. I moved along to the next antiques to find more clues.
Passenger two the woman was standing near a desk with so much data. The woman took everything out of the drawers until she had found a little treasure chest, it looked very old and made out of steel. The woman tried to open the chest, but it looked liked the treasure chest was locked and needed a key to open the chest. The woman was thinking about what she can find to open that chest. She scratched her head and then she felt that she had a hair pin that she could use to open the chest. Passenger 2 grabbed the pin and opened the chest and found a note and it said: You will always be the key to my heart love Marie. After the woman read the note, she looked in the chest and found a necklace with a black key as a charm. Passenger two put the necklace around her neck and tuck the key inside her shirt. The woman cleaned everything and put it back. As the woman got back up; passenger three was standing right in front of her. Did you find anything cupcake? said passenger 3. The woman looked at him with disgust as if he was a mutant slowly walking away. Passenger 3 had a sly smile as if he was going to do something very sneaky. Passenger 3 began to hear voices and started to see an illusion, he saw Gregory. Little did passenger 3 know that Gregory was not there he was staring at passenger 4.
The train began to play with passenger 3's mind. ENOUGH WITH THE GAMES!!!! he yelled towards passenger 4 as he began to choke him. I ran over to help passenger 4. I was pulling passenger 3 off of 4 and then eventually he let go. FIND SOMETHING THAT WILL HOLD HIM DOWN!!! I yelled. Passenger 2 was looking for something, instead she found a chair that had cuffs on it. So passenger 4 and I pulled passenger 3 back into the chair and handcuffed him. What are we going to do now? Kill him! We looked back to see who stated the remark. It was Gregory, Gregory appeared in the room. What do you mean kill him? That was not apart of the rules?! You specifically said find the four keys and we are out! Yes that is true Gregory said. The key is inside him. Now it is coming to a situation where you would have to choose whether he dies or not? So, what will it be? Is your life more important than his? Or are you willing to take the risk to die for him?
