The Qingming Festival is approaching, and it is time for Zhao Xin to return to his hometown. Every year during this festival, Zhao Xin drives back to pay respects at the graves of his ancestors.

Tomorrow being the weekend, Zhao Xin has decided to make the journey home to sweep the tombs. Early in the morning, he set off on a three-hour drive to reach his rural hometown. To arrive earlier, he rose at seven o'clock.

The expressway was free of traffic congestion, with excellent road conditions, making the drive a pleasant experience. He enjoyed listening to music while driving.

All of Zhao Xin's family members perished in a car accident, an event from which he narrowly escaped death himself. His survival left him questioning whether it was a blessing or a curse. Severely injured and unrecognizable, he survived but lost all sense of purpose. Alone in the world, he often wondered why he had not died in that accident along with his loved ones.

Eventually, Zhao Xin emerged from his grief, accepting his fate as part of a greater plan. Determined to live well, he rebuilt his life through hard work. After years of perseverance, he achieved success in his business endeavors. Despite his accomplishments, he often wished his loved ones could share in his achievements.

He sighed, acknowledging the imperfections of life but finding solace in continuing their legacy. His emotions were complex, filled with countless thoughts as he drove to the burial site of his ancestors. Having grown up in his hometown, he harbored many childhood memories of this land. His parents worked in the city for many years before eventually moving the entire family there as their living conditions improved.

Zhao Xin had not returned to his hometown for a long time. The land held many cherished memories from his childhood. Now, it also held the remains of his relatives.

Gazing at this familiar landscape, he felt profound sorrow. The graves of his relatives were located on a mountain, inaccessible by vehicle. Zhao Xin had to walk up, carrying a large bag and feeling out of breath due to lack of exercise.

In the distance, he noticed someone near the tombstone. Finding this unusual, as he had no other relatives, he wondered if it could be a friend paying respects. Calling out politely, "Hello!" he received no response. Feeling uneasy, he cautiously approached the figure.

To his shock, he discovered a girl dressed in a business suit tied to his father's tombstone. She appeared lifeless. Checking her pulse, he confirmed she was dead. Zhao Xin was greatly disturbed by this discovery. Unsure of what to do, he considered calling the police but feared potential repercussions if he could not explain the situation clearly.

Looking around, he realized he was alone in a remote mountainous area. Concerned about his own safety and the possibility of a nearby murderer, he contemplated how to handle the situation discreetly. However, burying the body seemed inappropriate and unethical. Instead, he decided to report the incident to the authorities immediately, ensuring his actions were transparent and responsible.
