It said my name. It said it again. The voice was just as indistinguishable as hers— before she died, that is. I breathed heavily, just like they said not to do. I kept my television on, in hopes another alert would show up, saying it had been eliminated. Nothing. The voice was growing louder, louder than before. I caught a glance out the window. It wasn't there anymore. There was a black glow coming from the vent. That same black glow they warned us about. The glow surrounded the room, the voice at its peak. The television flickered, displaying, “RUN.”
