Facts About the Shadow People

Shadow people are dark shadows that look like a humanoid form. Only, they seem to be just a silhouette of a man usually with a top hat. It is hard to decide whether they are a ghost or just another creature that is out of this world.

It is hard to determine whether they really exist. You can usually see them in your peripheral vision. Once you take another look, they disappear out of thin air. It's really hard to prove even to yourself that they were there in the first place.

Some also believe that shade people are shape shifters. They can transform into any form they wish so that they can cover their real form in case that someone with a third-eye spotted them. Most psychics were able to see different paranormal entities and one of them is the shadow people.

1. They are Extraterrestrials

Other paranormal experts believe that shadow people do exist in another parallel universe. They also believe that they are like extraterrestrials by nature. Even if they were able to shape shift, they cannot copy the exact human form. That's why the description of them seems to always be wearing a hat.

The hat is to mask the real shape of their head. They can only copy the human form in some ways. But they may also appear with some animal parts like their legs or their arms. It's hard to determine though since once you notice them, they will instantly vanish.


2. They are Djinns

In the Qur'an, they believe that these shadow people are actually djinns. Not the friendly genie in Aladdin's lamp though. But they can grant your wishes if they want to win your trust.

They will make your life pretty good but with a price. Some said that they can also live inside your body since they do not have their own. It can use you to do their wishes as well in return for what you asked them to do for you. So be careful what you wish for.


3. They are Demons

In demonology, shadow people were believed to be demons who were kicked out from heaven and Earth. They were sent to bring bad luck to people who saw them. It is also said that they exist to terrorize humans or make them do their evil deeds.

However, they cannot reveal their real form. That's why when you happen to see one from the corner of your eye, they just disappear. It will make you wonder if you really see them. Your curiosity might be your invitation to them and welcome them in your life.

Shadow people are often associated with evil, especially to those who had seen them in the past. They are said to be the ones who cause sleep paralysis. Some theories also believed that they are demons who are lurking around the shadows. Waiting for their next victim.

In some theories, the shadow people are believed to be the djinn. It is a genie in layman's terms. They were believed to be the first creatures created to walk the Earth. However, it seems that humans replaced them with God and they were not happy about it.

Most of the theories are that they were indeed evil by nature. They were actually the opposite of an angel from the creation. So it can mean that they are the demons who lived in a parallel universe. They can sometimes cross these boundaries since they have the ability to do so.


What Attracts Shadow People?

They are said to be attracted to a sick and dying person as they were believed to be soul eaters by some other cultures. Almost like the grim reaper since they usually wait for the person to die and claim their soul and bring it to the afterlife.

In the djinn theory, the shadow people seem to be guardians of humans. They can be helpful in some cases. But they believed that nothing comes for free. If you happen to attract a djinn and get their aid into something, expect that you need to pay them back.

They are merely attracted to how humans live their lives. Some are just observers but can also get curious and may actually possess you to get a feel of how you live your life. They can also be malevolent spirits who are still angry with humans.

Some folklore actually believes that shadow people exist. They see them as the messenger of death or simply put that they show themselves to someone who is dying. They are like death-eaters who will come to a dying person's death bed to suck up their soul.

In some theories, the shadow people who also happen to be djinn, want to stick around the human world. Although it seems that they are in another parallel universe, they still make their presence noticed at times. They simply want to live among us or maybe want to use the human body to live in this world like humans.


Is There a Way to Avoid Them?

Many believers said that there's no way to avoid them especially if you are their target. They can pose as your guardian angel. Since they are shape shifters, they can make you believe that they are there to help you.

Some said the best way to avoid them is not talk about them as they do not like to be a hot topic. They can send you signals of their presence when you talk about seeing one. Better stop once you see or hear their warning sign or suffer the consequences.
