Dream Eater from the Darkness

The story begins with a calm and cool morning atmosphere in a remote village. and the leaves on the trees are seen swaying Blown by the wind the sound of birds calling to each other. From a distance, the sound of a car driving and stopping in front of a house that looks like it has not been occupied for a long time but still looks very well maintained and clean.

Slowly a young man came out of the car, this young man named Steven, Steven is a famous author And he was looking for peace out of the hustle and bustle of the big city and to find inspiration for his next book.

And then he bought an old house in a charming and luxurious village, from a home buying and selling website. without he realizing that the decision he took would make him experience something

terrible and he would never forget, Because in the house lurked a creature from the darkness that would haunt him and make him depressed and scared to death.

When he was in front of the house he looked smiling and Joy filled his heart, because he felt he had come out and freed himself from the hustle and bustle of the dirty and noisy big city.

As he stepped into the house, the silence and the strange and frightening atmosphere that pierced the man's heart as if the house was alive and waiting for the night to reveal its horrors. fear crept into his entire body. as if there was Something lurking in the darkness, ready to catch him when night fell.

Day by day he passed and without realizing it, he had been in the house for a week without any strange incidents. In the morning, Setven planned to buy food supplies that had run out at the only supermarket in the area. There Steven met a woman named Amelia, she was a cashier at the supermarket. They talked, until Amelia asked something that made Steven curious about the question she asked. With curiosity, Steven asked Amelia again, why did you ask that. But Amelia replied "forget it, just assume I never asked about it". Still wondering, Steven went home.

after he put all the food supplies in the refrigerator. Steven sit on the living room chair while watching tv and eating an apple, when he was busy watching tv suddenly something grabbed the back of his neck which made him surprised and stood up from the chair while asking who touched him earlier with curiosity he decided to go to sleep immediately.

when Steven was sleeping suddenly there was a creature slowly appeared approaching Steven who was sleeping until he was right next to Steven, standing still and making Steven have nightmares and eating his fear from within his dreams. making Steven scared and waking up from his sleep with a gasp while Steven hand rubbed his face, and after that Steven remembered it again. in his dream the scary creature hunted him relentlessly and seemed to want to kill him, the nightmares that always haunted him every night made Steven unable to sleep soundly.

Every morning Steven wakes up with a face full of fatigue. Because the nightmare makes Steven unable to sleep well. Fear that always haunts him, day by day. His life goes around in circles when the creature comes at night, making Steven unable to distinguish between reality or nightmares. with a wondering heart Steven remembered the question asked by the cashier at the supermarket a few weeks ago. Steven decided to ask the female cashier.

In the morning Steven immediately went to the supermarket. after arriving Steven immediately looked for the woman, but after a few minutes of searching he could not find the woman. and finally he asked the cashier who was on duty there, where was the woman who usually worked here, the cashier answered "you mean Amelia" Steven answered "yes" where is she now.

The cashier answered again "She not working today" and Steven asked "Do you know where she lives?" The cashier answered Steven's question hesitantly, Steven answered "Don't be afraid, I'm not a bad person and I know Amelia" after being pressed by Steven, the cashier finally told him Amelia's address.

After arriving at Amelia's house, a small but neat house and the front is filled with flowers and trees and the sound of a dog barking can be heard. Steven immediately got out of his car and walked along the path until he reached Amelia's front door, Steven knocked on the door and called Amelia's name, not long after a woman's voice was heard from inside the house answering. and Amelia was surprised to see Steven in front of her door, Amelia immediately asked "how did you know my address and why are you here" Steven answered "I want to know about what you asked a week ago" while showing Amelia his serious face. Amelia with a hesitant expression finally told the hidden story of the house where Steven lives now,

Amelia tells Steven that before he lived there, there had been many mysterious and strange murders in the house. Steven grumbles "now I know why the house is so cheap" while slapping his forehead, Amelia asks "are you okay" Steven replies "no, I'm fine" Steven asks Amelia to continue her story.

Amelia continued her story, according to the residents here, the house was cursed because it used to be the home of an evil witch who had claimed many victims. And finally the witch was caught by the villagers and burned alive. Before she died, the witch cursed this village, so every full moon none of the villagers here dared to leave their homes. and none of them dared to approach the house you live in now.

Steven spoke in his heart "Hmm.., so that's what makes people here always look at me with faces full of fear" After Amelia told all the stories about the house, Steven asked Amelia for permission to go home because it was almost evening. On the way home, Steven thought about leaving the house immediately the next morning. But the problem is he has to survive one night until morning comes.

Steven decided to face the creature and survive until morning comes. When Steven arrived at the house, Steven entered the house with full of fear but he tried to be brave and said to himself "I can do it" while taking a deep breath, Steven entered and began exploring the house hoping to uncover the secret of the house. After searching for a long time, Steven accidentally found a hidden compartment in the floor that Steven accidentally stepped on and destroyed the wooden floor covering it, maybe because the house was old so the wooden floor became rotten.

In the compartment there is a book and three wooden nails, who knows what the object is there for and Steven is curious about the book he found with a feeling of fear he opens the book, after a while he reads the book which contains many stories of spells and strange symbols that he does not know the meaning of until on one page he sees a picture of the creature and the five wooden nails that are pierced in the chest of the terrifying creature.

Steven said in his heart "Could this be the key to defeating the creature?" the rest of the contents of the ancient book are only filled with warnings and stories about the creature's past. after finishing reading the entire ancient book, Steven is ready to defeat the creature.

Steven pretended to be sleeping and waited for the terrifying creature to emerge from the darkness, after a few hours of waiting the clock had shown 23.00 pm began to hear strange scary sounds and the air suddenly became very cold and Steven dared to open his eyes a little and how surprised Steven was beside him was standing a tall creature with a black robe with a scary face inhaling something that was seen from the direction of the creature's mouth emitting smoke with scary sounds coming out of the mouth.

Steven was so scared because he saw what was in front of him that he couldn't move his body because he was so scared, but he kept trying to fight his fear finally Steven managed to move his hand and take the 5 wooden nails and tried to stab them into the creature's chest one by one, but it seemed that the creature knew that Steven hadn't slept because he (the creature) couldn't eat the fear from Steven's nightmares. The creature screamed and Steven immediately jumped and stabbed a wooden nail into the creature's chest so that the creature screamed in pain and hit Steven's face until blood came out of his mouth.

while wiping his bleeding lips and enduring the pain from being hit by the creature, Steven ran out of the room and tried to stab the 2 remaining wooden nails in his hand. and the creature chased Steven and tried to scratch him with its sharp nails and the creature managed to hit Steven's back until Steven fell and endured the pain in his injured back. the creature approached and tried to lift Steven, but Steven quickly took one of the remaining wooden nails that he put on his plate and quickly stabbed it into the creature's chest.

The creature screamed again and threw Steven to the right, now there was only one wooden nail remaining. With all his strength and holding back the pain, Steven stood up and ran in front of the monster by smashing the remaining one wooden nail into the chest of a creature who was in pain which was not far from him. Steven quickly stabbed the wooden knife while shouting "arghhhhhh, die, you damn creature" the nail hit the creature's chest, suddenly fire came out of the creature's body. and burn it until nothing remains.

Steven fell to the floor and held the wounds all over his body while smiling because he had succeeded in defeating the creature. Not long after, Steven passed out until morning. Steven woke up because he heard a woman's voice calling his name. In his half-conscious state, he tried to recognize the figure in front of him and it turned out that the figure in front of him was Amelia who was worried that something would happen to him (Steven).

By saying thank God because nothing bad happened to Steven like the previous owners of the house, Amelia lifted Steven's body which was covered in wounds. and led him out of the terrible house. When he arrived outside the house, Steven looked up while smiling because he had survived an experience he would never forget... THE AND
