Camp Hounted
The Haunting Truth Behind the Camp's Dark Secret

From a distance, The sign looks weathered, with a dark, silent atmosphere, and the faintest sounds that add to the spooky atmosphere of the place.
From the inside, the old buildings look like they haven’t been occupied for a long time, covered in creepy vines with scary stories inside that make anyone think twice about going inside.
That day, six friends had come to the abandoned camp for one reason: to make a documentary about urban legends and to prove whether or not ghosts existed.
They came prepared, armed with lights, cameras, drone equipment, and enough courage to solve the mystery of every ghost story ever told.

One of them, Kyle says:
Kyle: "We're gonna be famous," he grins, stepping out of the van.
Kyle is "the ghost hunter who never finds anything but wants to look good in front of his friends."
They head into Camp Haunted, confident that they'll solve the mystery.
The cabins were warped, tilted, and weathered.
Nature had reclaimed much of the land—roofs covered in moss, windows broken, vines strangling doors.
They decided to head into the main cabin, which they used as their base to set down their tools and make plans, the floors creaking and the fireplace filled with ash as if it hadn’t been used in ages.

Ava says: "I read in an old magazine that the place burned down in the '70s and it said, 'A kid named Eli disappeared after the fire.
After that, there would be another girl who would disappear every year.
Eventually the camp was closed because there were so many disappearances every year.'"
"Every camp has a scary story,"
Kyle said: With a shrug. "Let's get ready to set up cameras and other equipment in each cabin."
That night, strange sounds began to be heard faintly from all corners of the camp.
At first, they thought it was a wild animal. Strange sounds in the trees. The sound of gurgling in the darkness.
However, when the sound echoed from the speakers they had installed earlier in each cabin of the tent where they were watching, they realized it was not the sound of a wild animal.

“Help me,” a woman’s voice rasps.
“Help me,” a woman’s voice rasps.
“Help me,” a woman’s voice rasps.
They head to where the sound came from on the shore of the lake. But there’s nothing there, just the moonlight, the wind. And nothing but water.
Except Sam saw something. A silhouette of a woman in the middle of the lake. Standing still.
The next morning they check the drone footage, but it’s corrupted.
All that was visible was a flash of white. It looked like a face, but it was too long, the mouth was in the wrong place.
Jordan says: “It could be a data corruption,” his voice shaking with fear.
Mia, the skeptic in the group, tries to rationalize it all, and
Mia says : "A psychological phenomenon in which the brain tends to recognize familiar patterns or shapes in vague or random visual stimuli, like seeing faces in inanimate objects or clouds.”.

The next nigh, there was a sound of hand scratching on the wall near the entrance to the main cabin. But when They went out to check, there was nothing there, just muddy footprints leading into the forest.
footprints in the dirt. The size of barefoot children. One by one, the footprints began to morph into something strange.

And Kyle seems a little quieter now than when he first arrived. He stares out into the trees as if something in them is talking to him.
and that morning Jordan woke up covered in bruises, and he said he dreamed that hands were pulling him toward the lake. "I couldn't breathe. It was like I was underwater. But I wasn't."
The next night Mia started sleepwalking. They found her the next morning curled up in the old boathouse, screaming the same word over and over again: "Eli", They don’t know what Mia means, and who is “Eli”?
Then Ava quickly pulled out the file she had brought with her and checked it. An old newspaper clipping from 1974 that said, “Local Kids Missing From Camp, No Trace of Body Found.”
"Wait," Ava muttered. "Why is the camp called 'Hounded.' Not 'Hounted.'"
Kyle said: "Maybe by now, the sign has been changed."
They checked it again. The letters were correct. Now it read: "Haunted Camp."

The next night, Sam suddenly disappeared. They searched for him in the morning. In the woods, they find strange symbols and circles of burnt grass and piles of children’s shoes and clothes. All sizes. All very old.
When they returned to the cabin, they were shocked to find Sam sitting in a chair by the fire. Suddenly Sam said, "I see him," he said. "The boy. Eli. But he's not a boy anymore."
He told me part of the story of what happened here. And he refused to tell me more. And after telling me what happened while he was gone, Sam suddenly passed out and fell to the floor.
The next night, Mia drowns in the lake. They find her floating, eyes open, mouth full of black water.

After lifting Mia from the lake, they checked the surveillance cameras they had set up and they saw her standing still on the edge of the lake and then disappearing, in the middle of the frame, no splash, no movement, Her just gone.
Ava was terrified and wanted to get out of the haunted camp.
And Kyle said, "No. We have to finish this," he grumbled, as if possessed. "This is real. We have to show the world. Then we leave."
But Ava thinks they've been there too long and it's too dangerous for them.
That night, they find secret journals buried under the floorboards in the infirmary. The pages are covered in blood and water.
Ava says, "Could this be Eli who wrote it?"
It reads:
They hurt me(Eli).
They locked me(Eli) in a well.
I(Eli) screamed for a days.
Then I got a friend.
He lived in the dark.
He was always with me Now and helps me get revenge on those who have wronged me.
and the last page is a picture. A child's sketch of six figures, five with X on their faces. One without an X.

Suddenly Ava realized She was the only one left.
Jordan disappeared into the woods, calling Eli's name. He never came back.
Kyle locks himself in the dining room and sets himself on fire. His screams echo throughout the camp.
And Sam is seen standing on the dock, smiling in the darkness. "He said you'd come too. You just don't know it yet."
so it turns out they were all dead and Ava was the only one left
Ava immediately ran out of the place.
She ran past the cabins, past the old signs, towards the road where they parked their van. But the van was gone.
The road was gone.
Only trees. Endless trees.
She screamed. No one answered.
Except the wind.

Then Eli whispered: "Come back. We need one more."
Two weeks later.
The place was filled with police and detectives and they found it. The last footage of the live broadcast was uploaded two weeks after they disappeared.
The footage showed Ava, holding a camera and she was smiling.
Behind her, a group of children who had disappeared were standing in the trees. Silent. Watching.
And Ava said one line before the video cut to black:
"Camp Haunted is open again."
