"Deadly Intentions"
"Lost in the Darkness: A Terrifying Tale of Survival"
It was a dark and stormy night, and I was driving on a deserted country road in the middle of nowhere. The wind was howling, and the rain was beating down on my car. I had been driving for hours and was starting to feel tired, but I knew I had to keep going.
As I rounded a bend in the road, I saw a figure standing in the middle of the road. I slammed on the brakes, but it was too late. I hit the figure, and my car skidded to a stop.
I got out of the car, and that's when I saw that the figure was a woman. She was lying on the ground, motionless. I checked her pulse and was relieved to find that she was still alive. I decided to take her to the nearest hospital, which was a few miles away.
As I was driving, the woman started to stir. I looked in the rearview mirror and saw that she had opened her eyes. But something was off about her. Her eyes were empty and soulless, and her skin was pale and clammy.
Suddenly, she sat up and grabbed my shoulder. I swerved off the road, and my car crashed into a tree. When I came to, the woman was nowhere to be seen.
I stumbled out of the car and started to walk down the road. It was still raining, and the wind was still howling. I could hear strange noises coming from the woods. I tried to shake off the feeling of unease that was creeping up on me, but I couldn't.
As I walked, I saw a light in the distance. I ran towards it, hoping to find help. But when I got closer, I saw that it was a dilapidated old house. The windows were boarded up, and the roof was caved in.
I hesitated for a moment, but then I heard a scream coming from inside the house. Without thinking, I ran inside.
The inside of the house was dark and musty. I could hear footsteps coming from upstairs. I crept up the stairs and peered into one of the rooms. That's when I saw her.
The woman from the road was lying on a bed in the middle of the room. Her eyes were still empty and soulless, and her skin was even paler than before. But what really scared me was the fact that she was surrounded by candles and strange symbols.
Suddenly, the door slammed shut, and I was plunged into darkness. I heard the sound of something moving towards me, and I knew that I had to get out of there.
I stumbled down the stairs and ran towards the front door. But it was locked. I was trapped.
I could hear the woman's footsteps getting closer and closer. I knew I had to do something. I looked around and saw an old axe leaning against the wall. Without thinking, I grabbed it and braced myself.
The door burst open, and the woman appeared. Her eyes were glowing red, and her skin was covered in strange symbols. I swung the axe, and it connected with her neck. She fell to the ground, and I ran out of the house.
As I ran down the road, I heard strange whispers coming from the woods. I knew I had to keep running, or I would never make it out alive.
Finally, after what felt like hours, I saw the lights of a town in the distance. I ran towards them, and eventually, I stumbled into a police station.
I told them everything that had happened, but they didn't believe me. They thought I was crazy. But I know what I saw that night, and I will never forget it.
To this day, I still have nightmares about that dark and stormy night.
