Once upon a time, there was a small town nestled deep in the forest. It was a place of natural beauty, with towering trees and crystal-clear streams. But it was also a place of darkness, where rumors of the supernatural ran rampant.

In the heart of the town stood an old mansion, its once-beautiful façade now marred by years of neglect. The mansion was said to be cursed, and those who dared to enter its walls would never return.

Creaky door:

One day, a young couple named Tom and Emily decided to explore the mansion, curious about the rumors that surrounded it. They made their way through the overgrown lawn and pushed open the creaky door. Inside, the mansion was dimly lit, and cobwebs clung to every surface. The air was thick with the scent of decay, and the only sound was the sound of their footsteps on the dusty floorboards.

The family had suspected that Lily's governess, a woman named Sarah, had been responsible, but they had been unable to prove anything. As they read on, Tom and Emily realized that Sarah's ghost still haunted the mansion, seeking revenge on anyone who dared to enter.

Sinister laughter:

Suddenly, the door slammed shut behind them, and they heard a low, sinister laughter. They tried to escape, but the windows were barred, and the doors wouldn't budge. They were trapped.

The couple huddled together in fear, their hearts pounding as they heard the sound of footsteps getting closer and closer. Suddenly, a figure appeared in front of them - the ghostly apparition of Sarah, the governess. She was pale, her eyes empty, and her mouth twisted into a terrifying grin.
