The clock struck 12 midnight. A chilling silence surrounded the entire village. The moonlight was melting through the window and entering an old house—the house had been abandoned for many years, with moss on its walls, insects in the wood, and a strange smell in the air.

It was this house that the young woman **Nishat**—a university student with a penchant for old history, ghost stories, and mysterious things—entered. She had first read about this mirror in an old book in the library—"Blood-Eyed Mirror"—in whose reflection death could be seen!

First Sight-

When Nishat stepped into the door of the house, the door opened as if by its own volition. Upon entering, he saw old furniture, a dilapidated roof, and a huge mirror placed right in the middle of the room. Covered in a sheet of dust, yet the glass of the mirror was unusually shiny.

He slowly walked towards the mirror. For a moment, his eyes were caught—there was no reflection of himself! There stood an elderly woman, with bloodshot eyes and a cold smile on her face.Nishat stepped back in fear, but the door was closed by then!

The Mirror's Past-

Eager to delve deeper into the incident, Nishat looked behind the mirror. In the light of his mobile, he saw some letters carved on the wood of the mirror:

"This is not a mirror, it is a reflection of the image, it shows the last hour of the future."

This mirror was made in 1885 by a landlord who believed in Tantra and Mantra. It is said that after his wife died, he cursed the mirror—so that the reflection in the mirror would show who would die, when, and how!

The horror begins

The night grew longer. Nishat felt a cold chill on his body, as if some invisible force was pulling him from the mirror. As he looked into the mirror, he saw various scenes one after another—a child drowning in water, an old man with a rope around his neck, and finally..

Seeing himself!-

Yes, Nishat could clearly be seen in the mirror—in a dark room, unable to breathe, as if someone was strangling him to death. His eyes were red, and the same woman standing behind him, staring with bloodshot eyes.

There was no escape-

Nishat ran from one corner of the room to another, but all the doors and windows were locked. Suddenly he saw a stone box, on which was written: "If you want to stop the mirror, kill your fear."

He realized that he had to admit his fear. Nishat closed his eyes, his throat was dry, but he said, "I am afraid of dying alone, of being forgotten, and of being buried anonymously."As soon as he opened his eyes, he saw the glass of the mirror cracking. The blood-shot woman screamed—the mirror broke, and immediately the house shook.

Morning-

The next day, some people in the village saw the door of the old house open, with pieces of the broken mirror lying inside. Nishat was lying unconscious on the floor. He survived, but he wouldn't say anything. He would only say one thing over and over again— **"A reflection of the future, made of fear."
