Behind the mirror

Rimi, a city girl, felt exhausted by her monotonous office and the constant noise of the city. Her doctor advised her to rest, so she decided to spend a few days in her grandfather's old house in a quiet village. The house had been abandoned for years as no one lived there, except for the occasional visits by villagers to clean up. It was late in the afternoon, and the sun set when she arrived at the house. A shadow fell on the open window on the veranda. Wooden doors, dusty rooms, and general silence give the house a strange feeling. The smell of ancient wood and moisture in the air made her skin craze. But there was something else - a strange train that pulled her in as if the house was tacitly welcoming her.

When she cleaned the house, she found a large old mirror in the salon. It was large for a dark tree, almost six feet. Despite the dust, the glass was oddly perfect. As soon as she stood in front, it seemed a strange, cold wind had cleaned her face. She clenched for a moment, feeling an unpleasant cold that raw her spine.

Rimi couldn't sleep that night. The dogs outside howling and creaking the windows filled them with discomfort. All the sounds were felt more and more in silence. Suddenly, she hears a weak staircase from the salon - worse or intentionally as if someone was going in front of the mirror. She looked nervously. But when she entered the room, everything should have been meant to be, except for the mirror. She was aware of her reflection... Out. Her eyes were wide, unnaturally large, and her face was wearing a creepy, unvibrant smile. Her reflection blinked - she didn't. She quickly turned around - no one was there. But she turned to the mirror, and her reflection remained frozen, staring at her. In panic, she quickly shut the door to the room. She awakened the rest of the night and struck her heart. The next morning, she asked the village woman about the mirror. The old lady said to her,

- "This mirror is cursed. In the past, she belonged to the royal family. It is said that people who are too long will lose themselves. There are rumors about death and lost souls associated with it. Some say that mirrors remember. "

Rimi laughed at him and thought it was nothing more than a superstition. But later that night, a strange step returned. This time, she saw the courage to stand in front of the mirror again. And this time, her reflection smiled - a cold, empty smile. Her reflection then slowly raised her hand and pressed her flat against the glass. Suddenly, it stretched out - a hand pressed against the surface like water! Rimi screamed, stumbling, slamming her head against the floor, hitting her.

The next day, the villagers found them at the bottom of the salon room. She muttered,

- "She wants to go outside...she wants to take my place."

Rimi was immediately brought to the municipal hospital. The doctor said her injuries were not serious, but she was suffering from a mental breakdown. But she repeated the same sentence,

- "Remove the mirror. If you don't run away. "

The villagers decided that the mirror had to be destroyed. The woman had wild hair, depth, dark eyes, and a twisted smirk. She reached out of the mirror, her fingers scratching inside the glass.

No one could get the mirror. Her hands tremble, and her heart smacked. It was as if the mirror was staring at her, trying it out to be bold.

A sudden storm broke out. The wind was violent, and everything in the room was thrown. The window is broken. The only sound was the mirror figure, the scream,

- "Let Me Out!"

The next morning, the house was empty. The mirror is gone. There was a note scribbled in red ink on the floor:

- "I'm free now. You're in it."

and Rimi were never discovered again.
