True Supernatural Stories

This incident is a very recent one, it happened in July of this year. So, let's begin the story. The incident happened to him.

That day, it was essentially the time of a five-day internet blackout. It was the third day of the internet blackout. As you can understand, the situation in the country was quite tense. Their mess (dormitory) was near Boroykandi Road No. 2. Just after our first incident, another incident, the " সাপ শাহ (Saap Shah)" incident, which we broadcasted, happened. Our brother, Shibbir Ahmed, his home is in Boroykandi Road No. 1, where the shrine of that Saap Shah is located. And his mess is near Boroykandi Road No. 2. From Road No. 2, if you go a little ahead on the main road, you'll find the Matin Complex, and that's where their mess is located. Before the internet blackout, all educational institutions were closed. Because of this, all the boarders in their mess went to their respective hometowns. Only he and one of his roommates, named Porom, remained. Suddenly, due to this internet blackout, they were wondering how to pass the time. They couldn't use Facebook or YouTube on their mobiles. Many of their other friends who were in the mess had gone home, but some had stayed. So, they decided to go to those friends' mess and play carrom board. They played carrom board until almost 12 or 1 AM that night, or even a little later. As far as he remembers, it was almost 2 AM while playing. That day, a nationwide curfew was imposed. They went to play because they didn't know what else to do to pass the time. While playing, it got so late, and it was drizzling outside. Then, they prepared to return to their mess.

But the trouble started in one place. In that mess (dorm/hostel), there was an older brother (senior) who said, "Don't go today, stay here. There's a curfew outside. If the police, RAB (Rapid Action Battalion), or anyone else sees you, something terrible could happen. They might even shoot. So, none of you should go now."

Now, Tahsan bhai (brother) had a problem: he couldn't sleep in someone else's bed. He just couldn't fall asleep. He had to sleep in his own bed; sleeping in someone else's bed gave him a headache all day. He thought, "Well, Allah is with me. I'll go out. Whatever happens, happens." So, he set off with an umbrella. He wasn't with anyone else, you see.

He took the road from Boroi Kandi, number one road, which leads to the mess. There are three ways to get to the mess from this road: one is along the main road, one is along the railway line, and the other is through road number two. He thought that if he went along the main road, he might be seen by the police, RAB, or the army, and there could be danger. Also, the railway line wasn't a good route; there was a fear of thieves and robbers. Since it was so quiet all around, thieves and robbers could easily catch you. So, he decided to go through road number two.

According to his decision, he started walking through road number two. Let me give you a little description of road number two. Road number two is also full of trees and has a few duplex houses around. There are also some medium-sized houses nearby. But going through there at that time of night would be scary. And it was raining. Also, there was no electricity on road number two at that time. Going through road number two, crossing the railway line, and going a little further along the main road, you would reach their mess in Motin Complex.

So, he started walking along that road, keeping his mobile phone's flashlight on. He was walking slowly. After walking for a while, suddenly the atmosphere became very stifling. He felt like someone was walking behind him. At first, he thought it was his imagination, but later he realized that someone was indeed behind him. So, he stopped for a moment and shone his mobile phone's flashlight behind him. He didn't see anyone. Thinking it was just his imagination, he started walking again.

After a while, it seemed like someone was walking behind him again. Now he was getting a little scared. He immediately recited the Char Kul and blew on his body, then started walking. This time he didn't look back, but this time he wasn't hearing any footsteps behind him either. However, he felt like something monkey-like was jumping from one tree to another on the trees beside him. Then his fear intensified even more. He immediately started running and reached the front of the railway line in one go. But when he got to the railway line, he saw a RAB (Rapid Action Battalion) vehicle parked on the main road. It was curfew time, and if he ran into the RAB vehicle, it could be a terrible situation. He hid behind a small tree nearby. He stood there for about 10 to 15 minutes, but while standing there, he felt like someone was breathing hot breaths on his neck, panting. He was in such a terrifying situation at that moment – a RAB vehicle parked in front and something like this happening behind him. He was in a state where he felt like he would burst into tears from fear. And the country's environment, what a terrible time, the listeners can understand. In the meantime, what happens is that the RAB vehicle moves forward, meaning it goes in another direction. Maybe it had come to patrol here for a while and then left for another place. As soon as the vehicle left, he took a few steps to get on the main road when someone suddenly slapped him hard on the back. He fell backward into the pond after being slapped. Somehow he got out of the pond. Where did the umbrella go? He ran straight to his room via the main road and locked the door. His room was right next to the railway line. Then suddenly someone said in a deep voice, "You survived for now. I didn't do anything this time, even though there was a chance to do it again. But if you bother me again next time, you won't survive."

So, after hearing this, he kept the room lights on all night and couldn't sleep. In the morning, he discussed it with the caretaker of his mess (dormitory). The caretaker had been in charge of the mess for about 15 years. He said that there's a shrine (mazaar) in that area, and some good jinn live there who don't harm anyone. However, if someone bothers them, they bother them back. But it's never been heard that they've caused anyone any major harm. Maybe you were passing by that way, and they were inconvenienced by something, which is why they scared you. So, that was the incident.

The story I'm about to share with you was sent to us by Hasan, who is currently a third-year student at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology in Sylhet. He sent us a story that is quite strange, it's true, but we've seen similar incidents in the past through the various stories we've broadcast. Let's listen to the story. So, this Hasan lives in a mess (dormitory) in a place called Akhalia in Sylhet city for his studies. He has other classmates with him. In their mess, there's a "khala" who cooks. Usually, we call the women who cook in messes "khala." This khala's home is in Sylhet. She didn't originally live in Sylhet city; she lived in a village. She's been living in Sylhet city for about six or seven years. Her husband was killed by some relatives – their own relatives – about six or seven years ago. The reason was that he used to mediate disputes in the area and had considerable influence. He would deliver fair judgments as much as he could, whether it was for his relatives or anyone else. Once, while judging a case, the verdict went against his own relatives, and that's why they killed him. After he was killed, due to a cruel twist of fate, she had to move to Sylhet city, and that's how she started working in the mess. She probably never imagined she would ever do such a job. Anyway, she doesn't have any sons, but she has two daughters, both of whom she has married off. She's not a professional khala or a professional cook. She's working to make a living. Her cooking isn't like the other khalas who cook. Her cooking is quite good, and she cooks very carefully and cleanly, just like people cook at home. And that's why the quality and taste of her cooking are, by the grace of God, good. This happened a short while ago. While cooking, Hasan noticed that she was coughing quite a bit, but it seemed like a seasonal cough. After a couple of days, her cough subsided. A few days later, suddenly, she had a severe cough. Like that day, she cooked and left.

But after that, she didn't come to cook for two days. Someone else from her house came to the caretaker to inform them that she was very ill and couldn't get out of bed. Hearing this, they thought maybe it was just a cold and fever, which is why she wasn't coming. Meanwhile, because she hadn't been coming for days, the people in the mess were having a lot of trouble with their meals. So, Hasan Bhai and another member of the mess decided that they would go visit her. When they went, they saw that she was lying in bed, and her daughter had come to take care of her.

She was very ill and couldn't speak, trying to communicate with gestures. But when she tried to speak, no sound came out of her throat; no voice at all. Then, her daughter explained what had happened. What they understood was that she had dreamt that a fishbone was stuck in her throat. After that, she coughed and woke up. From then on, a terrible thing started happening: she was coughing up blood, but there was no phlegm, and the fishbone wasn't going down. She couldn't touch the fishbone in her throat with her hand or in any other way. The fishbone was stuck in such a place that her fingers couldn't reach it. She tried eating hard food in various ways, which sometimes helps dislodge a fishbone, but nothing was working. Anyway, she has two daughters. When she shared this with her two daughters, she told them about it with difficulty, in a faint, broken voice. Later, after getting information from the neighbors, she was taken to a religious leader (Huzur). The Huzur was well-known and a teacher at a Madrasa. By the time the Huzur finished all his rituals, quite a bit of time had passed.

So, that day after the Asr prayer, the religious leader (Huzur) saw this auntie (Khala). After going there, the religious leader asked what had happened. The auntie tried to explain as much as she could, and the rest was explained by her daughters. Then, the religious leader understood the matter and said that basically, you saw something in a dream, and that thing was actually a terrifying demon. Then the auntie remembered and said yes, that's right. She couldn't really explain it properly before, she was having difficulty. The auntie said that in the dream, she saw a woman, especially after the religious leader reminded her a bit, she could explain it better. The woman was quite short, had an ugly face, and brought a fish head in a bowl. She came and told this auntie, "Eat this." The auntie wouldn't eat it. At one point, she was supposedly forced to put the fish head in her mouth, and then a bone felt like it got stuck in her throat. Then she coughed, and she woke up. Since then, this has been the problem. The religious leader said that basically, a terrible black magic has been cast on you. You will die from not being able to eat. You won't be able to eat anything, only liquid food. And how many days will you survive by eating liquid food? So, this is how you will die. This terrible black magic has been done on you with this intention. And the black magic was done by one of your relatives, whom you had stopped from doing something bad. This act was done on you as revenge.

Then the aunt understood the matter. The religious leader (Huzur) performed some Ruqyah (Islamic spiritual healing). At one point during the Ruqyah, the aunt started coughing. After coughing, blood started coming out with her cough. However, this time the blood was quite light, not as thick as blood usually is, but quite light. In the midst of this, while coughing, a fish bone about one and a half to two inches long came out of her throat in front of everyone. Then everyone present understood what had actually happened. This terrible thing had been done to her in a dream, and the bone had been inserted into her throat. And in this way, she would have slowly died from not being able to eat solid food, becoming ill. This bone would not have been detected by any X-ray or anything else. She would have died like that. But by the infinite mercy of Allah, the aunt survived. Now she is healthy and well. Now she is cooking.

So, dear listeners, look at this matter. We think that someone might come close to us and feed us something to perform black magic. No, even in dreams, this terrible black magic can be used to feed someone something, causing them terrible harm. This incident is further proof of that. We have talked about the matter of being fed something in dreams at various times before, especially in the Lufion incident, which Mehdi Hasan Bhai sent us, where a creature was feeding him newborn pig meat in a dream, as a result of which he could not eat any other food. At one point, he would have withered away and died. There was a special flower that, after being brought from Lufion, if the powder of that flower was fed to someone, this meat would come out, and then, by the grace of Allah, he could be saved.
