A Nightmare that exacerbates your insanity.

"What a bloody nightmare" Travis told himself in fear, the night was becoming an ordeal of disturbances, Halloween 0ctober 31st, just a few hours ago Travis received intel that some strange mystifying reports of cannibalistic activities were sighted near an off-grid mansion. Missing people reports accumulated fast in his once peaceful local town, he was after all a respected police officer with a duty of care to his people so the pressure was on, he had to do something before things exaebated. A team of experts was sent to investigate but radio contact was abrupted and the team of professionals never proclaimed an update of the situation to the longitude and apprehension. This initiated his curiosity to know whats happened and worried him fieacley so instead of risking more of the lives of those he cared for he set out to invesitgate the disturbances alone. To the woods he hastened, arriving soon to the spooky spine-chilling mansion with only the disturbing echos of the crows that inhabited the outdoors like guardians to scared treasure. He ignored them fixating on being resilient and entered valiantly unaware of what was inside...

The main hall was gigantic and mesmerizing with its antiques and mind-blowing ornamants enough to make anybody rich if sold so he thought... As he abandoned the mansion's main entrance into the right side hallway, to his astonishment he noticed a scream get significantly louder. “HELP ME!… SOMEBODY, PLEASE HELP ME!” the echoing screams of a helpless young woman could be heard from within the isolated mansions vintage interior. ‘What was that?’ Travis asked himself. “GET THE HELL AWAY FROM ME YOU SICK TWISTED FREAK… AHH ”.

Travis knew that this lady was in peril so he had to think fast. He was certain that the screams came from about twenty feet away so he scurried along the dreary dim-lit corridor in hopes to reach the dire need before something horrific happened to her.

“MISS, HOLD ON I’M COMING!” He attempted to make vocal contact with the damsel in distress. He thought maybe she’d put up an extra fight knowing her knight in shining armor was about to come to the rescue. Travis arrived cautiously at the location the desperate screams were coming from.

It was too late, he froze as he looked down in horror. The woman was no more, In fact, several parts of her limbs were disseminated across the dank antiquated hallway. From behind the human-like silhouette, a blood-stained wedded hand-laid deceased just a couple feet away from a lacerated arm, gushing with fresh thick blood. He could see a ruptured ligament spreading juice across its once-proud owner.

He had never witnessed such perplexing acts committed in his entire career as a deputy police officer. He forcefully continued to watch in terror the now lifeless corpse get ruminated into sections. ‘ACT NOW TRAVIS, DO SOMETHING NOW!’ the little voice recited in his head. But he couldn't, he was trembling with fear. The only thing working was his eyes and nose, so he scouted the awfully rancid human-like silhouette from behind and attempted to devise a plan.

Travis no longer had time to linger around and think because now it looked as though the man was fully aware something was behind him. Travis gazed at his potential threat surveying as it lazily circulated its head to face its next victim. He noticed in disgust a decomposing face drenched in pudgy, creamy pus extracting from the man's infected forehead blisters. Sections of it presented parts of decaying skin lingering from beneath the cheek and chin. His teeth were squelching on the victim's detached eyeball drooping with unfamiliar DNA. Travis then analysed its deteriorated body and noticed it was severed from head to toe, you could see colossal inflated clusters ready to burst uncontrollably like a dormant volcano.

Suddenly its sinister, evil yellow eyes clunked in green, pusy gank locked on to Travis like a predator on its prey. Its crusty cold-blooded lips spewed out thin raindrops of coagulated blood as it progressed to stand up and grasp fearlessly for its next meal. Travis arose from paralysis and clutched onto his caliber pistol aiming for the head “STOP RIGHT THERE !” the undead human ignored and flung frantically towards Travis like a possessed demon. He barely stood a chance for the nightmare that ensued, this was his final endeavour...

The sickening repungant monster drenched in dead blood, sadness and macabre plunged onto Travis with a psychopathic ferocious personality, its smell alone quenched his stomach to curdle spew from the mouth and caused what he thought to be minute nasal damage. It had no regard to the rules of right and wrong and instead, obsessively fixated to win its meal like a starving wildling with nothing to lose. Travis fell hard onto the ground causing minor damage to his back and shoulder blades, he had no time to worry about that yet and instead had no choice but to fight for his life narrowly avoiding the zombie's many attempts to penetrate his luxurious, fresh human skin with its deranged shark-like teeth.

Travis grabbed its head like a gigantic pimple feeling the bones fracture as he strengthens his grip, watching gangrene drop onto him just narrowly missing his sacred eyeballs and mouth cavity, he had to spit out the corpse's remains hoping he wasn't infected. WHAM! he slammed the zombies head vigorously to the floor just moments away from death as Travis dodged its last bite, sweat dripped from his forehead like an ongoing fountain clamming his eyesight and weakening his provisional vision, the creature's strength was above average human but Travis prevailed with victory giving a final blow to the head like glass from a falling building it shattered its decrepitating brain and coagulated cells now stained the mansions once beautiful interior' Phew,' he thought to himself, as he tried to regather his sanity and thoughts processing the nightmare he thought to be over. He couldn't be more wrong, this was nothing compared to the horror that ensued he never stood a chance...
