The Story of Prophet Yusuf (PBUH)
A Shining Example of Patience Sacrifice and Loyalty
When a person searches for the truth from the depths of his heart, he is definitely touched by the story of Prophet Yousaf (PBUH). This is not just the story of a prophet, but it is a complete picture of patience, divine love, trials and forgiveness.
This is the story that the Quran has called the best of stories
Encountering jealousy in childhood
Hazrat Yusuf (AS) was the son of Hazrat Yaqub (AS), and his mother was Rachel. From childhood, he had extraordinary beauty and gentleness. One day, he dreamed that eleven stars, the sun and the moon were prostrating themselves to him. When he narrated this dream to his father, he said that it was something special, but do not mention it to your brothers because they might be jealous.
And that is what happened
His brothers, who already felt a lack of love, became extremely jealous. They planned to turn Joseph away from their path. One day, they took him to the forest on a pretext and threw him into a deep well and lied to their father that a wolf had eaten him.
Slavery and temptation
A caravan passed by, they pulled Joseph out of the well and sold him as a slave in Egypt. The Aziz (minister) of Egypt bought him and brought him to his house. There Aziz His wife tried to seduce him, but he sought help from Allah and preferred to avoid sin. He was imprisoned because of a false accusation.
The Trial of Imprisonment and Interpretation of Dreams
Even in prison, Prophet Joseph (peace be upon him) did not lose heart. He interpreted the dreams of the prisoners correctly, and won their hearts. Then one day the king saw a strange dream that no one could interpret. Prophet Joseph was recognized in prison, and the king called him to interpret the dream.
He said: "There will be seven years of prosperity, then seven years of famine." The king was impressed by his wisdom and made him the treasurer of the country.
Meeting with brothers and forgiveness
During the days of famine, Prophet Joseph's brothers came to Egypt to buy grain. They could not recognize Joseph, but Prophet Joseph recognized them. As part of a strategy, he stopped his younger brother Benjamin, then revealed himself later.
The emotions of that moment cannot be described in words. The brothers were ashamed, but Prophet Yusuf said:
"There is no blame on you today, may Allah forgive you, and He is the Most Merciful."
Then the father of Prophet Yaqub was also called to Egypt. His eyes, which had been closed in grief, were illuminated again by the sight of Yusuf.
A lesson that is still alive today
This story tells us that:
The end of truth is always bright
He who trusts completely in Allah never fails
The heart that forgives is the greatest
After suffering comes relief
Summary:
The story of Prophet Yusuf (peace be upon him) is not just the journey of a prophet's life, but is a light for every person who is going through a trial. Patience, piety, and faith - these are the treasures that brought Yusuf from slavery to kingship.
