Palestine is a nation with a long history, resilience, and unbreakable spirit in the middle of the Middle East. A nation that has endured decades of occupation, displacement, and struggle, yet remains steadfast in its pursuit of justice, freedom, and dignity.
Palestine's history is the history of humanity as a whole, not just one people. It is a reminder that oppression anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. The Palestinian people, whether in Gaza, the West Bank, Jerusalem, or scattered across refugee camps in exile, share one common bond: the unwavering belief in their right to exist, to resist, and to return
A Land of Rich Heritage
Palestine is not just a geopolitical conflict—it is a civilization with thousands of years of history. Palestine has served as a crossroads for a variety of faiths, cultures, and traditions, from the ancient Canaanites to the Islamic and Christian ancestry. Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and the vibrant streets of Hebron and Nablus stand as living testaments to this enduring legacy.
The Struggle for Freedom
For over 75 years, Palestinians have faced systematic displacement, military occupation, and apartheid policies. The Nakba (Catastrophe) of 1948 saw the forced expulsion of over 700,000 Palestinians from their homes—a tragedy that continues to shape generations. Despite the expansion of illegal settlements, the destruction of homes, and the fragmentation of families, the Palestinian spirit persists. Palestinians continue to courageously resist, from the Great March of Return in Gaza to the steadfastness of Sheikh Jarrah residents. Their struggle is not for domination but for the most basic human rights: the right to live freely on their own land.
We Are One
The Palestinian cause transcends borders. It serves as a global moral metric. In recognition of the fact that justice for Palestine is justice for all oppressed people, millions of people worldwide stand in solidarity. The call for Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) is getting louder, challenging complicity in occupation, from student movements to grassroots campaigns. Palestinians, whether Muslim, Christian, or of other faiths, are united in their identity. Through art, poetry, education, and unwavering sumud (steadfastness), they teach us that resistance can take many forms. We are reminded by figures like Shireen Abu Akleh, Mahmoud Darwish, and Edward Said that Palestine's voice cannot be silenced.
The Path Forward
True peace cannot come through oppression. It must be built on justice, equality, and the right of return for refugees. To hold those who violate international law accountable, the world must move beyond empty rhetoric and take action. "Palestine will be free from the river to the sea," as we say. This is not a call for exclusion but for liberation—a future where all people, regardless of religion or ethnicity, live in dignity and peace.
Palestine’s Fight for Freedom Against Israeli Oppression
For over 75 years, the Palestinian people have resisted Israel's brutal occupation, apartheid policies, and ethnic cleansing. Since 1948, Zionist forces have stolen Palestinian land, destroyed villages, and expelled millions from their homes in what Palestinians call the Nakba ("Catastrophe").
Today, Israel continues its crimes:
Genocide in Gaza - Over 40,000 martyred since 2023
700,000 illegal settlers live on stolen West Bank land. Occupation by the military - daily raids, arrests, and deaths Apartheid system - Different laws for Jews and Palestinians
Palestinians continue to resist despite the overwhelming force of the military by: Armed struggle - Brave fighters defending their land
Protests that are peaceful - the Great March of Return in Gaza Solidarity across the globe—the BDS movement's global expansion Israel cannot break the Palestinian spirit, as the resistance demonstrates. Palestine will be free from the river to the sea. The world must support Palestine's right to exist, resist, and return and stand with justice. Liberate Palestine! Victory is near!
