All praise is due to Allah who made His creation and portions out His slaves to be rich and poor.He sent down rain and opened the channels for the rain to percolate into the soil.
I praise Him -Glorified is He- who bestows abundant reward to the obedient ones and veils the disobedient ones.He is the one who knows what is above the sky and what is beneath the soil;the crawling of the ant in the night when it crawls is not hidden from His knowledge{AL -ALEEM}.
The heavens and his angels glorify Him,and the stars and their orbits glorify Him.The rivers and their fishes glorify Him,the earth and its inhabitants glorify him and the loceans and creatures living in them glorify Him
SÛRAH AL ISRA’ Q17
I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah alone;He has no partner;equal to him or bearing any similarity to Him.And I testify that Muhammad{صل الله عليه و سلم } is His slave,Messenger,honest and intimate friend,and best of His creation as well as the custodian over His revelation.
He sent him as a mercy to the universe and as a proof to the entire mankind.May the blessings of Allah be upon him as much as the mention of him by the righteous and as many as (the number of ) the alternating days and night. We ask Allah the Exalted to to make us all be among his righteous followers,May He resurrect us in his company on the Day of resurrection.{Ameen}
To proceed;
O brothers and sisters!Allah the Almighty and Majestic has indeed mentioned, some lessons in His Book[Quran] and narrated stories of the past generations for us, and has commented His prophet [صلى الله عليه وسلم ] to narrate some of this stories to us.For example, Allah the Almighty and Majestic narrated the story of Yusuf[عليه السلام] in his book,He stated at the end of the story Surah Yusuf And who is truer in speech than Allah ? Certainly it[Quran] is not a forged statement.
SÛRAH YUSUFQ12 v111
When the prophet[صلى الله عليه وسلم] began to contemplate Allah’s book and the stories of the earliest generations, among the verses he would recite from Allah’s Book were the sayings of Allah the most High.
SÛRAH AL A’RAAF Q7 V176.
And Allah’s saying:
SÛRAH HUD Q11 V 120.
I’m another verse Allah the Most High said,
SÛRAH TA HA Q20 V99.
Thereafter, the prophet[صلى الله وعليه وسلم] began to narrate to his companions what would keep their heart firm upon goodness.As he[صلى الله عليه وسلم] read the story of Nuh[عليه وسلم] in the Qur’an and relates that to his companions, so would he read the story of Lut,Shua’yb and other prophets in the Qur’an and relate these stories to his companions.
If you consider Islamic history,you will discover that it contains lesson that would attract you from various perspectives.Similarly,if you reflect on the biography of the prophet[صلى الله عليه وسلم] you will be astonished at the many topics you can talk about. Is it about his worship, his voluntary night prayers or fasting during the day that you will speak about? Or is it his eagerness to teach the people, invite them to Islam,enjoin what is good and forbid what is evil that you speak about?
Gate of excellence will open for you in every angle, and by Allah you may not know which to choose out of them. Consequently, I would love to stand with you at one of the gates which the prophet[صلى الله عليه وسلم] and his companions will strive hard to safeguard.
A Man once asked the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم about what would make people enter hell, and appointed out one thing which we we shall talk about.
This thing which we shall study partly by considering the conduct of the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم and his companions, is something small in size boards, serious in the crime it commits, it is the “TONGUE”.
