February's Song
Secrets and shadows.

Orange and Blossom met in 2006 on their way to a Josh Groban concert where they first heard him sing his "February Song". Before even knowing their real names, both had stood admiring the lovely field of oranges and orange blossoms while sightseeing a few hours before the concert.
"Well, hello there Ms. Blossom, beautiful fruits, if I may so so, and on such a wonderful day". He had smiled at his own corniness.
"Ha, ha ha. You are most welcome to say, Sir Orange. It surely is a most gorgeous day, the sun outdid herself today". They had stuck with their playful names ever since.
Shortly after that eventful night they parted ways. Each went back to their jobs in different cities. Orange found himself greatly missing Blossom, hoping fervently that they would meet again. He decided to write her a letter, speaking of the concert and and the wonderful time which they had experienced together.
Although he had her telephone number, Orange pulled every string at his disposal to find Blossom's address. He somehow still believed in the romance of the written words, they had both spoken at length about it, he remembered, also they both shared a love of poetry.

Dearest Blossom,
Please do not think it too forward of me to have procured your address through various well connected friends. It was imperative that I find you in a timely manner.
This letter is written in hopes of finding you well. Ever since that unforgettable night in 2006, I’ve found myself often lost in thoughts of you. The memory of the Josh Groban concert still resonates deeply within me, especially when he sang "February Song." Every note seemed to echo the magic of that evening and the serendipity of our chance meeting.
Do you remember how the air was filled with anticipation? The hushed whispers of the crowd, the dimming lights, and then his voice—so powerful and emotive. It felt as though time stood still, and in those precious moments, we shared something uniquely profound. I could see in your eyes that you felt it too. The way we spoke, the laughter we shared—it was as if we had known each other for a lifetime.
Our paths diverged soon after, but the time we spent together has remained a cherished memory. I've thought about you often, and I can't help but wonder how life has treated you since. The connection we had was rare and beautiful, and it has left an indelible mark on my heart.
I find myself hoping that our paths will cross again someday. There is so much more I want to share with you, so many more songs to listen to, and so many more moments to create together. Life has a way of bringing people together when the time is right, and I hold onto the belief that we will have another chance.
Until then, I will keep the memory of that wonderful night close to my heart, and I hope you do the same.
With fondness and hope,
Rickard (Orange).

Dear Orange,
Your letter has touched me deeply, bringing back a flood of memories from that magical night in 2006. The Josh Groban concert feels like it happened just yesterday, with every detail etched vividly in my mind. "February Song" has always held a special place in my heart, and now, even more so.
The emotions we experienced during that concert were truly unparalleled. The way his voice carried through the air, filled with such raw emotion, left us both spellbound. I remember glancing at you, seeing the same awe and wonder reflected in your eyes. It was a connection so strong, it felt almost surreal.
Our conversations, the laughter, and the shared moments created an instant bond between our souls. It was as if we were meant to meet, if only for that brief time. Parting ways was difficult, but the memory created together has remained a constant source of warmth and joy.
Life has taken me on many journeys since then, but thoughts of you have always lingered. Our connection was rare and precious, and it has left an indelible mark on my heart as well.
I, too, hope that our paths will cross again someday. There is so much more to discover, so many more songs to listen to, and countless days yet to be enjoyed. The memory of that wonderful night will always be a reminder of the beautiful moments we had, and I hold onto the hope that we will have another chance to create new memories together.
With fondness and hope,
Eliza (Blossom).
P.S. I carry our memory with a smile and a sense of hope that the universe will bring us together again, when the time is right.

February, 2007
My dear Blossom
February Sings of
Snowflakes dancing like fleeting dreams, as they listen to secrets whispered by moonbeams.
Chilly winds sing lullabies, underneath the star-kissed skies, and morning frosts with a crystal flair.
Nature is magic, crisp and divine. Shadows stretch in twilight's glow...
February begins to weave its tale of snow.
Soon comes February's Serenade
Icicles drip in shimmering lines, as they loosen Winter's grip...a slow, yet soft decline.
Lovers' whisper on cool nights, while candles flicker with warm light.
Snowdrops bloom in pale display, hinting at the coming May.
Through the chill, a gentle tune, February dreams of springtime soon.
..
Orange my dear friend
February's Song for the birds...
By the window, I stand and gaze, at Winter's charm through frosted haze.
Birds in dance on the snowy ground, nature's trilling flock prance all unabashed and free.
Feathers flutter, love takes flight, gentle warbling in morning light.
Through the glass, I quietly cheer, February's glow, so crystal clear.
Birds sing as daylight awakens chirping notes in crisp, clear air.
My feathered friends soar with tender care.
Morning breaks with a soothing melody, nature's choir in harmony.
Love all a'flutter, wings embrace, joyful hearts in nature's grace.
Under skies of azure blue, February's song, goes on and on.
..
Lovely Blossom
It is finally time for February's Embrace
Winter fades, a gentle sigh, New beginnings in the sky.
Snowdrops bloom with tender grace, Hope awakens, finds its place.
Birdsong sweetens the morning air, Nature whispers promises fair.
In February's warm embrace,
In starlit Dreams we delight...

March 2007
March brought the reunion that Orange and Blossom had both longed for. They found each other once more, and the connection they felt during that magical night in 2006 was rekindled instantly. Their eyes met, and it was as if no time had passed at all.
The two spent countless hours reminiscing about the Josh Groban concert, sharing stories, dreams, and aspirations. Their bond grew stronger with each passing day, as they discovered new layers of compatibility and affection. Every moment together was filled with laughter, joy, and an undeniable sense of belonging.
As spring bloomed, so did their love. They explored new places, created beautiful memories, and supported each other through life's ups and downs. Their love story became the kind that fairy tales are made of—one that blossomed from a chance encounter and flourished into a lifelong journey.
Orange and Blossom's love grew deeper with each season, and they cherished every second together. They built a life filled with warmth, kindness, and unwavering support. Their hearts were full, and their souls were entwined, creating a bond that would stand the test of time.
I would love to say that they lived happily ever after, grateful for the concert that brought them together and the love that sustained them through the years.
I will visit them again after a few years have passed. If we are lucky, they will still be together, weathering life's storms and prevailing through the highs and lows.
Their story may then become the light which we all seek at the end of our dark tunnels, the power of destiny and the beauty of true love.
