Archaeologists found 10-foot-tall humans in a Nevada cave.
elongated skull skeletons have been discovered.

Giants used to walk the earth, according to myth, folklore, and even the Bible. It turns out that this assertion is supported by evidence. In the US state of Nevada, extraordinary human remains have been discovered; some of the skeletons are as tall as ten feet.
The bodies, some of which were rumored to have been mummified, were discovered to have had red hair in addition to their astounding stature. This has supported the long-held belief that a long-extinct human race formerly ruled southwestern America.
Red-haired, cannibalistic giants known as the Si-Te-Cah arrived in the Americas from a far-off island, according to the Paiute, a tribe that first established in the Nevada region thousands of years ago.
According to legend, the Si-Te-Cah traveled over the ocean on reed rafts and quickly established themselves as being taller, more powerful, and more vicious than other men.
Then, in 1911, some miners discovered many odd items in a cave close to the city of Lovelock, Nevada, while searching for bat guano, a crucial component of fertilizer. As a result, two formal excavations were started in 1912 and 1924, during which thousands of objects were found.
According to Archaeology World, the mummies, known as the Lovelock Giants, were among the astounding discoveries. They stood eight to ten feet tall. Also discovered were 15-inch sandals that were worn and a boulder that had what looked to be a giant handprint
The Nevada Review-Miner, the local newspaper, reported in 1931, shortly after the second excavation, that two enormous bones had been found in a dry lake bed near Lovelock.
These remains, which were mummified according to how the Ancient Egyptians did it, were 8.5 and 10 feet tall, respectively. Even while this may all seem improbable, the myth of these odd individuals spreads throughout the Americas.
For instance, a Spanish conquistador named Pedro Cieza de León documented an old Peruvian legend regarding the giants' ancestry in the sixteenth century. The tall beings "came by sea in rafts of reeds [in] the manner of large boats," according to de León's description, adding that "A few of the men were so tall that they were as long as a typical fair-sized man from knee to knee."
Furthermore, elongated-skulled skeletons have been discovered high in the Andes, between Bolivia and Peru. The remains are far larger than typical human remains and are thought to be roughly 3,000 years old.
Interestingly, it was discovered that some of them also had red hair. Some scientists believe that this reddish tint is a result of the burial conditions, according to Archaeology World. Others, on the other hand, see it as evidence of the Si-Te-Cah and their relatives' existence.
And if you're wondering how a race that powerful and terrifying vanished if it really existed at all, The answer lies with the Paiute.
In their legend, the Si-Te-Cah terrorized and destroyed them as well as all other nearby tribes throughout their conflict. The tribes banded together against this powerful enemy after years of conflict. The final giants were eventually driven out and took refuge in Lovelock Cave.
The tribes took advantage of the situation and set fire to the cave's entrance, suffocating and killing the few remaining Si-Te-Cah. According to reports, the Paiute people retaliated after the Si-Te-Cah terrorized and cannibalized them for years.
It's interesting to note that evidence of severe fire was discovered close to the cave's entrance when the first discoveries were made there in 1911, according to the History Channel.
And when all the pieces of the story fit together, it's still entertaining, even if these 10-foot giants are only a product of folklore and creative imagination.
