Will The Pretty Little Liars Reboot Be A Hit?

Okay first and foremost, what I am going to say based on what I heard so far about the reboot from social media is that it's going to be pretty good and a lot different from the original one. Now, in my opinion, I would definitely look into the reboot because when the original one left the screens, I was very curious about what happened after the group defeated -A. But as PLL fans know, of course, they did bring up one of the main female characters, Emily, at the beginning of the show from the OG series. The Perfectionists was a spinoff that the characters Alison and Mona made the leads to in which only lasted one season. Although they did try to make more spinoffs while the OGs were still going, like Ravenswood for example, somehow they didn't last long. However, according to blogs and other media platforms, we get to explore the -A universe in a new town with new liars. Let's give you guys a quick background on it, in case you didn't hear about it...

Pretty Little Liars: Orginal Sin is created by the man who created the CW series Riverdale. With the help of another filmmaker, Lindsay Calhoon Bring. They made it into a fourth installment based on the first three shows. All in all, the story takes place inside the PLL world. Meaning, this is a new generation in a new era and time. But however, the main story plot doesn't change. For instance, pretty teenagers with secrets, lies, betrayal, and also someone who wants them to suffer. What makes this generation different is that the parents are involved in the mystery as well. Which makes this plot more interesting though. All in all, the parents did something horrible twenty years ago and now their children are being tortured because of it and their own horrible things as well.

I really think this will be a good reboot but one thing about one of the new liars is she is pregnant on the sneak peek! Yes I know, I couldn't believe it either. The one that is pregnant in the sneak peek is the leader of the group, Imogen Abel who is played by Bailee Madison. Here are all the characters so far,

For right now these are the only characters that I can reveal in my opinion for now. The show really does sound good and plus according to the creators they are making this more suspense and more horror. So a drama series with a scary and suspenseful plot is definitely my thing. In the original series, the show had more drama and mystery surrounding the plot and the characters. The setting of the reboot has a darker side to it also. Based on the social media page of Original Sin, the fashion is more middle-class meaning, the liars are not so rich like the original liars. So don't be too surprised about what they wear. Somehow, in my own perspective, I really think the reboot will be a hit. Although I do wish for more episodes. But the eight-episode series will do for now. The question is do you guys (PLL fans) think this show will be a hit or will it be like the spinoffs? Who knows, everyone may be in for a surprise because this reboot looks like it has a lot to offer. I think it will be good.
