Will Brooke eventually wear Ridge down and marry him in the showstopper on The Bold and the Beautiful?

Destiny may prevail if everything goes according to plans but there will be bumps in the road.

Brooke remains determined

The Bold and the Beautiful fans knew this day was coming. Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) seems to have taken a page out of the book of Steven Q Urkel (Jaleel White) on Family Matters. Steve was in love with Laura Winslow (Kelly Shanygne Williams) and pursued her relentlessly for nine seasons.

On numerous occasions, if she showed just a small bit of empathy, Urkel would say, "I'm wearing you down, baby, I'm wearing you down." Before the final season was over, Laura admitted she was in love with him. Brooke is determined to get Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) away from Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) by any means necessary, but how long will it take her to wear him down?

Brooke has reinforcements

She is not alone as Hope Logan (Anikka Noelle" has said she will support her mother if Ridge is the man she desires. Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Donna Logan Forrester ( Jennifer Gareis) are on her side. They, too, believe in "Bridge" and want Ridge to come to his senses. Donna and Eric assisted Brooke in wearing the Show-Stopper gown at the recent Forrester Creations fashion show.

They were hoping Ridge would take notice, and he did, but it was not enough to sway him. Brooke was wearing a dress that resembled the gown she wore the last time she and Ridge were married. The love he has for his "Logan" was evident as he stood holding her hand at the end of the runway while Taylor and Steffy Finn (Jackie Wood) looked worried from backstage.

Brooke made her pitch

After Forrester was put back into the hands of Ridge and Eric, Brooke told her ex they were destiny and admitted she wanted him back. He told her he was committed to Taylor, but she is not giving up. Eric has advised his son to go back to his Logan and will do so again next week. Ridge will stand his ground by repeating he is committed to someone else.

Ridge keeps saying he is committed to Dr. Hayes, which is not the same as saying he loves her. Fans are wondering when Taylor will realize she was only a rebound when Ridge was angry with Brooke. Steffy has gone out of her way to get her parents back together, and she wants them to remain that way. Unfortunately, she will not be able to interfere and manipulate her dad as she has in the past.

Steffy is now invested in Liam Spencer's (Scott Clifton) health crisis. He has an inoperable brain tumor, and his ex wants to be by his side. Wood will be going on maternity leave soon, so her character will not be around to coach Taylor to fight for her relationship.

How long can Ridge hold out?

Working with Brooke every day and having others point him in her direction will eventually cause Ridge to second-guess his decision. It's only a matter of time before Logan wears him down, and he is back in her arms. How much time will be determined by the way the writers set this up. On some level, Taylor and Steffy know that Ridge's heart belongs to Brooke, but that will not stop them from fighting for him.

Brooke has made her intentions clear and even kissed Ridge. Wearing the showstopper was a bold move, and Taylor might call her rival out on this move. Dr. Hayes and her daughter will be furious if they find out that Donna and Eric are encouraging Brooke to take Ridge back. Fans of The Bold and the Beautiful believe it's inevitable that "Bridge" will reunite. The question is, how long will it take for Brooke to wear her man down?
