What Films can Learn from No Time to Die.
We all can Learn a Lesson or Two.

Spoilers for the Daniel Craig Bond movies and No time To Die
We live in an era where action movies and summer blockbusters dominate the film industry raking extremely lucrative amounts of money. No matter how bad the next marvel movie or the next fast and furious movie is it will rake in the big bucks. It's the nature of Movies these days. Sometimes Hype and Big names carry more meaning than any sort of Actually well made film.
This is where Daniel Craig's Bond films differ. His Bond movies are extremely different to most action movies you see these days in the sense that....in fact they are even more different than any previous iteration of Bond. They do not prioritize action or spectacle although they still do those things extremely well. This makes these films enjoyable for a general audience. However it's how these movies are crafted with Characters, Arc and Story That make them enjoyable to people who are looking for a little more....substance.
Marvel movies are typically good examples of doing this right however they too get caught up in all the hype the excitement of The general media and just go full on Sicko mode.
The Craig Era of Bond despite how much of a huge juggernaut it is at the box office, focuses on the character of Bond rather than the stuff revolving around him. The gadgets, the over the top villains are all pushed aside for a A Portrayal of Bond with more Humanity someone who's haunted by his job but does it nonetheless as a due to his country.
Casino Royale Is about Bond who's more younger and inexperienced. He is a cold hearted killer with no strings attached or anything that would compromise his job. Until Vesper Lynd enters his life and melts his cold heart....that is until she betrays him and she lets herself die as a source of remorse for her actions.
Casino Royale despite being this amazing emotion filled character drama on Bond is still a Bond film at it's core with incredibly stylish and elegant Action sequences. Yet it does trade in the emotions for any flashy action scenes unlike what a lot of Hollywood blockbusters would rather happily do.
Quantum of Solace is a exploration of Bond's Rage, Skyfall is once again a character study on Bond with heavier themes, Spectre is about the ones who can make us forget the burdens of our lives and No time to Die....is a culmination of all of these things wrapped up in a wonderful finale and send off for Daniel Craig's Bond.
Notice a Pattern with these movies? They serve as both Popcorn filled joyrides and are also concerned about Character Arcs, A Emotional Core and A Interesting plot that naturally develops all of these.
This is what Hollywood can Learn from these Movies and especially No Time To Die which is so wonderfully characterized by it's Heart which is more important to it more than anything else. Another example of doing this right is the John Wick movies which to a Extent does all of this EVEN better but in a much more.....gory fashion.
Most Hollywood blockbusters wouldn't bother with this kinda stuff. But that makes them all feel generic at the core. They are all action movies at the end of the day, no matter what fancy tricks they may use.
Indie movies especially these days are harder and harder to fund. Because they don't make the big bucks now do they? They are just movies about People and their journey most of the time. Most of the money is going to fund more of these bombastic action movies that Hollywood knows will sell and they are not wrong on that front. But it's sad to see more and more indie films getting shafted aside to fund the billionth fast and furious movie. So these movies rather than simply throw explosions at the screen should also be bothered with providing substance as well. And in my opinion they don't for the most part or nowhere as good as the Daniel Craig Bond movies.
