General Hospital spoilers suggest a great storyline

The General Hospital Creation fan event recently returned to the Marriot Convention Center in Burbank, California after a two-year hiatus. This was due to COVID-19 but now loyal GH viewers can once again meet and greet their favorite cast members. Soap Hub was on hand at the event to talk to Wes Ramsey who portrayed Peter August on the ABC soap and now suggests an interesting possible storyline related to Ramsey's character.

General Hospital viewers detested Peter and were exhausted while waiting for his wicked saga to come to an end. Everyone is glad August met his fate but fans were sorry to see Ramsey leave the soap. The big question on the minds of GH viewers is what comes next for the popular actor but the spoiler asked him something a bit more specific. Soap Hub asked Ramsey if he might return to General Hospital possibly as Peter's twin and Wes gave the following reply.

"You never really know. The writers and producers of daytime are capable of doing anything. I have no idea about any of that. Certainly, they know where to find me.”

Ramsey could return to GH in a number of ways

General Hospital viewers now know that Ramsey is open to returning to the ABC soap so the ball is in the court of the execs. There is no guarantee, however, that the voice of those who watch the show will be heeded. There was an outcry when William deVry (Julian Jerome) and Emme Rylan were fired but neither has been rehired.

There are several ways the actor could be brought back to the daytime drama considering Roger Howarth has portrayed three Port Charles characters. He has played Todd Manning, Franco Baldwin, and now Austin Gatlin Holt. Wes could be brought back as a new unrelated character or he could indeed return as Peter’s identical twin.

Peters's mother, the supposed late Alex Merritt was the twin of Anna Devane ( Both portrayed by Finola Hughes) so twins do run in the family. General Hospital brass has not said anything about bringing Ramsey back but fans never know what may be in the works. Ramsey could also return as Peter and perhaps he and his mother could show up in Port Charles together. This is not anything fans desire to see at this point because the destruction Peter's actions continue to have a ripple effect in Port Charles

Ramsey returning as an unrelated character who dates Carly Corinthos Laura Wright) would be great considering the duo is dating off-screen. Whatever might happen will not be anytime soon become the wound are still too fresh and Port Charles residents need time to heal from Peter's reign of terror.

General Hospital fans are curious about what comes next for Ramsey

Those who watch General Hospital are curious regarding what's next in Ramsey's life and some feel he should return to the ABC soap. Wounds are still fresh where Peter is concerned but viewers like Wes. Be n the lookout for spoilers to update what comes next for Wes Ramsey.

Will he move on to other projects or will ABC brass bring him back to the ABC soap? If Ramsey returns will he portray Peter's twin or play a different character and if so will Ramsey be paired with his real-time girlfriend Laura Wright? Stay tuned because the answers are sure to come,
