The Young and the Restless viewers are tired of Vashland
The storyline had gone on so long now that many fans find it boring and want it to end. Fans were also disappointed with Victoria and Ashland's wedding.

The Young and the Restless fans speak out
Those who watch The Young and the Restless are still commenting on Victoria Newman Locke's (Amelia Heinle) and Ashland Locke's (Richard Burgi) wedding. The consensus seems to be that the relationship, as well as the dress created by Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) were overhyped. There was also concern about Vicki's children not attending their mother's wedding while Ashland's son was the ring bearer. Following are a few of the many social media posts on the subject.
"I can not believe that Victoria's children were not shown at their mother's wedding, yet Harrison was in the wedding?? This was not the Wedding it was Hyped up to be! So far, I think the whole thing has been boring! The Ashland drama, the dress drama turned out to be a DUD!"
"I don't understand why Victoria's children Johnnie and Katie were not at the wedding."
I will say this about the wedding: Come on writers. He has his son in the wedding but Victoria's Johnny and Catie were not in it? Do you think that would really happen? Especially since they were "supposedly" there? Come on get real.

Ashland Locke: Is he dying or not?
Initially, spoilers indicated that Richard Burgi was only going to be on the CBS soap until the late summer. It is November and Locke is still around. He is supposed to be dying of cancer but a number of fans believe he is lying. His oncologist has never been shown and neither has Victoria ever accompanied her spouse to his treatments. Instead of resting and preserving his energy, Ashland is working with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Adam Newman ( Mark Grossman) to destroy ChancComm along with Billy Abbott (Jasons Patrick) and Lily W.inters (Christel Khalil).
Victoria's fate

Viewers are saying that Victori'a wedding dress was not the show stopper that was promised. It was a better choice than the one created by Lauren baldwin (Tracey Bregman's designer but did not live up to the advertisement. Earlier spoilers teased that Victoria would end up heartbroken and alone which caused speculation that Ashland would die. Right now he seems in good health although spoilers continue to say his health is declining. No one expects this to be a long term relationship and many viewers are saying they wish it would end already. The drama leading up to the wedding annoyed Y&R viewers who were expecting something grander. Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) is an unnecessary distraction and he has only caused trouble.
Jesse Gaines Is Trouble

Victoria and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) are at odds because of Gaines and Billy and Lily are currently being scammed by him. Adam has hacked the ChancComm computer and will has had the information on Ashland Locke published . Jesse sold himself tothe highest bidder and Billy and Lily will be caught in the fallout. Gaines will probably disappear and Locke, Victor, and Adam will escape with clean hands yet again. Gaines is playing Lily and Bily and they have will be left holding an empty bag.
The Young and the Restless fans are over Vashland
There was so much fuzz about the Vashland wedding and it eclipsed Kyle Abbott and Hunter King which angered some fans. At this point some vierws are waiting for Ashland to die so Victoria can move on. Based on the current situation she probably will not be reuniting with Billy at least not for awhile. Such a big deal was made about the Lockness monster and it came to nothing even the storyline with Harrison and Kyle being his dad. Vicki and her new husband and the Gaines situaiton are making viewers weary and they are so over this couple. Be sure to be on the lookout for spoilers, breaking news, and updates related to The Young and the Restless and Victoria and Ashland.
