No one seems able to keep this secret to themselves.

The secret is out in Genoa City

On The Young and the Restless, when Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) confided in Summer Abbott (Allison Lanier) that she murdered Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) she swore her daughter to secrecy. Summer did her best to remain quiet but became so overwhelmed that she told her brother Daniel Romalati (Michel Graziadei). On Friday, in an attempt to protect his sister, as well as unburden himself Daniel shared the news with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc).

Daniel took the blame by telling Summer's story as his own and begged the others not to tell her and next week on The Young and the Restless spoilers say things will get pretty crazy in Genoa City. Daniel will actually tell Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) he thinks she is innocent while Jack will come close to giving his fiancee the reason why Daniel feels the way he does. Jack will also talk to Christine Williams (Laura Lee Bell) about the situation hypothetically trying to feel her out regarding what is going on and Michael will be looking for a strategy to end this nightmare.

A desperate search for proof begins

Previews for next week show Kyle and Jack in the hotel room where Stark was murdered and Jack saying they don't know what they are looking for but will recognize it when they find it. Kyle will also battle guilt because he wishes he could tell his mother and his wife what is going on. The irony is that Kyle has no idea that Daniel omitted a few facts and that Summer is actually the one Phyllis spoke to. Summer meanwhile wishes her mother was cleared of all charges and remains angry at Diane for coming back to Genoa City and putting them all in this impossible situation.

Michael said on Friday they need proof and not just hearsay so perhaps Kyle and Jack might find something in Stark's hotel room. Things will become intense as more people find out that Phyllis is alive so fans of The Young and the Restless should brace themselves for the fallout. Where is Red and what could she be doing to prove Jeremy set her up? Daniel and Summer both want their mother exonerated of murder because it was self-defense but Jack thinks she should pay for her role in Diane being framed.

Phyllis and Diane will eventually come face to face

This situation has gone from Phyllis revealing herself to her daughter to 4 additional people knowing she is alive. Who else in Genoa City will find out before it all hits the fan? Michael desires to see his client go free but also wants his good friend back home safe and sound. Kyle and Summer are playing a dangerous game by keeping secrets from one another and when each finds out what the other has been hiding it might just end their marriage. How long can they go on like this and which one will be the first to break? How will Summer feel when she finds out her brother betrayed her and what will it take for Phyllis to show her face?

Will Jack or Kyle slip up and tell Diane the truth and who will eventually reveal what they know to Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd)? Is it possible for Michael to find a way to clear his client without his best friend being thrown under the bus? What will happen when Phyllis and Diane are finally face to face ? There is definitely going to be some collateral damage sure to stay tuned to The Young ad the Restless and watch how it all plays out.

"...things will get pretty crazy in Genoa City...," you call that a spoiler, lol? So how do we classify everything that has come before? Another good article, Cheryl.
