The latest update on the juror pool for Sean Combs
The trail has not begun but things are already pretty interesting.

Did Diddy make the right decision?
Sean Combs confirmed that he turned down a potential plea deal during his final pretrial hearing on May 2. If found guilty he could spend the rest of his life in prison. The music mogul now has gray hair and a gray beard because dye is prohibited in prison. It's difficult for some toc accept that this man who once ruled the music industry might lose and never see the light of day again.
A judge previously rejected a request from Diddy's legal team to delay the start of the trial, so attorneys reconvened in Manhattan court on Wednesday, May 7, to continue interviewing prospective jurors in the legal proceeding. Judge Arun Subramanian questioned jurors one by one for the prosecution and the defense to determine their qualifications to serve.
The jury selection process has begun
Diddy's defense team includes attorneys Marc Agnifilo and Teny Geragos, founding partners at Agnifilo Intrater.
Brian Steel, who represented Young Thug in the rapper's RICO trial, is also working with Combs, as are attorneys Alexandra Shapiro, Xavier R. Donaldson, Anna Maria Estevao and Jason Driscoll.
Nicole Westmoreland of Westmoreland Law LLC is the latest lawyer to join Diddy's legal team after filing a notice of attorney appearance with the court on May 6.

Jurors were grilled
Jurors were repeatedly asked if they, a family member or a friend had been a victim of sexual assault, sexual harassment or domestic violence, and whether they or a loved one had been charged or accused of such crimes.
By the end of the day attorneys had narrowed down the 45 potential jurors needed for the process to move forward. Already two of them have been dismissed and the process will continue again on Monday. The judge hopes the weekend will give possible jurors some time for reflection.
One diddy lawyer, Mark Geragos, is playing the race card. In a May 2 episode of the "Two Angry Men," podcast he co-hosts with Harvey Levin founder of celebrity news website TMZ Geragos said the racial and gender composition of the six-member prosecution team was "interesting." He referred to them as "a six-pack of white women ."

Facts about the Diddy trial
Some people have wondered if the trial will be televised as was done in the OJ Simpson case. Cameras are typically not allowed in federal criminal trial proceedings so there will be no televised coverage. USA TODAY. however, will be reporting live from the courtroom.
There is questions on the minds of many in the public sector. Did Sean Combs take the plea deal suggested by his legal team because he is innocent or does he believe his money, influence and high powered lawyers can get him out of everything? Are the many accuser against him lying to get a payday or telling the truth.
When did Diddy's troubles begin?
Diddy's troubles began in December 2023, and he was arrested in September 202 subs4. He was charged with racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to all five counts.
It seems like forever since this saga—the house raids, rumors, and allegations—began, and here we are. Those who are speaking out, however, say Diddy's alleged crimes go back thirty years.
Now, a court and jury will hear the evidence and decide. Be on the lookout for updates related to the Sean Combs trial once it begins. Will his dismissal of the plea deal work in his favor or come back to bite him? Will his money work for him, or will his legal team get a big payday while he is locked away? Time will tell.
