Correct Order To Watch The DC Television Crossover

Following is the correct order to watch the DC television crossover.

Flash vs Arrow

Flash vs Arrow was the first crossover event introduced by DC in the 2014-15 season. The crossover was a two-episode part where the first episode is episode 8 of season 1 of The Flash, "Flash and Arrow", and the second episode is episode 8 of season 3 of Arrow, "The Brave and the Bold".

The cast includes Grant Gustin as The Flash, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow, Candice Patton as Iris West, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Rimon, etc. The directors of the show are Glen Winter and Jesse Warn. The story revolves around the team of Flash and Arrow to catch the villain Roy Bivolo who uses boomerangs and has robbed the Central City Bank.

Heroes Join Forces

It is the second crossover by DC in Arrowverse. It was premiered in the 2015-16 season. It acted as a setup for DC’s new show Legends of Tomorrow. It is also two episodes long from The Flash and The Arrow episodes. The first episode is episode 8 from season 2 of The Flash and the second episode is episode 8 from season 4 of Arrow.

The name of the episodes is “Legends of today” and “Legends of Yesterday’. The story is about the supervillain Vandal Savage who wants to kill Kendra Saunders and comes to Central City with that intention. Flash asks Arrow for his help to protect Kendra. Eventually, Kendra unleashes her power as Hawkgirl, and after some twists and turns, they can defeat Savage and turned him into ashes. 97% of the audience liked this show.

Invasions!

Invasions! is the third installment of the DC crossover for Arrowverse. Based on the comics of 1989 of the same name, it consists of three episodes in The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow, each with the same title, Invasions!

The plot is about how Flash, along with Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow, recruits Supergirl from Earth-38 to fight an alien race called the Dominators—directed by Dermott Dawns, James Bamford, and Gregory Smith. Supergirl, aka Kara Danvers, is played by Melissa Benoist.

  • 1st Episode: The Flash, Season 3-episode 8
  • 2nd Episode: Arrow, season 5-episode 8
  • 3rd Episode: Legends of Tomorrow, season 2-episode 7

This crossover also introduces Supergirl and puts her in the DC show for the upcoming crossover and series. All appreciated the crossover event, and the critics gave good comments about it.

Crisis on Earth-X

There are four episodes of this crossover event-

  • 1st episode: Supergirl-season 3, episode 8
  • 2nd episode: Arrow-season 6, episode 8
  • 3rd episode: The Flash-season 4, Episode 8
  • 4th episode: Legends of Tomorrow season 3, Episode 8

Crisis on Earth-X is the fourth crossover of the Arrowverse. It is the first one where all the 4 shows have come together. It is about the heroes of Earth-1 who team up to destroy the Nazi invaders of Earth-X led by their leader Dark Archer and his wife, Overgirl. On earth-X, Germany won in World War II, and the Nazis came to power.

They attacked in the wedding of Barry Allen and Iris West, where all other heroes were also present. In the fight, Dark Archer's wife gets injured, and they return to their planet. The story continues as Dark Archer plans to weaken Supergirl and transplant her heart into his wife’s.

After a series of events, the heroes finally defeat them and evacuate the Nazi army from earth-X. On November 27, 2017, the first two episodes were shown in Supergirl and Arrow, while the next day, the other two episodes were aired in The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow. Larry Teng and James Bamford directed it.

Elseworlds

It is the fifth crossover by DC on Arrowverse, featuring Green Arrow, Flash, and Supergirl. It contains three episodes that started on 9 December 2018 and ended on 11 December 2018. It is the show where we see Batwomen, Lois Lane, and the famous Gotham City of Batman. This event has no involvement of the Legends of Tomorrow. The three episodes are of the same name, “Elseworlds”.

  • 1st episode, The Flash, season 5 episode 9
  • 2nd episode, Arrow, season 7 episode 9
  • 3rd episode, Supergirl, season 4 episode 9

The three episodes are directed by Kevin Tancharoen, James Bamford, and Jesse Warm, respectively. Ruby Rose plays the character of Batwomen, and Elizabeth Tulloch plays Lois Lane. It also acted as the start of the Batwomen television series.

The story revolves around a psychiatrist named John Deegan from Arkham Asylum who, with the help of a book, changes the reality due to which Flash and Arrow switch each other's lives. The story continues as they both struggle in a series of events, and eventually, all ends well.

Crisis on Infinite Earths

This is the sixth and latest release as DC crossover for the 2019-20 season. About 89% of the viewers liked this show.

  • 1st Episode, Supergirl, season 5, episode 9
  • 2nd Episode, Batwomen, season 1, episode 9
  • 3rd Episode, The Flash, season 6, episode 9
  • 4th Episode, Arrow, season 8, episode 8
  • 5th Episode, Legends of Tomorrow, season 5, special episode

It is the first crossover where Batwomen is actively present. It is about the uniting of all heroes from different earth to destroy the threat of Anti-Matter.
