The withdrawal of A-Train movie on The Boys Season 4 Episode 8 recap. While the ballots are being tabulated, Singer is certain to win, as everyone knows. MM believes that Victoria will assassinate Singer when he wins the election and take control, so they must stop her. However, Hughie is horrified to see that Shifter Annie has erased all of the dirt on Victoria.
Shifter Annie uses a gown and a proposal to divert Hughie's attention. She notices that her skin is flaking after they have sex. She quickly heads to the real Annie after grabbing the automobile keys. We find out that the shifter can read the memories of everyone she transforms into while she refuels. Additionally, Singer's murder is intended to be the fall guy for the actual Annie. Annie breaks her wrists to free herself from the chains while she is alone herself.
The Boys choose to play defence in the meanwhile, hiding in the basement with Singer. Obviously, with Shifter Annie around, this is a horrible strategy.
Hughie notices that she is beginning to burn, much like the shifter did when they first grabbed her. He alerts MM right away, but Shifter Annie notices because of their terrible poker face.
Chaos breaks out as she attacks. Hughie and MM are the last line of defense when Kimiko's neck is broken and all of Singer's security is slain. At that point, Singer, Hughie, and MM are able to flee when the real Annie appears. Even though Annie is still unable to utilize her talents, she strikes the shifter because she is so furious. Annie kills the shifter as Kimiko is still recovering.
Homelander is concerned about his advancing years. He also blows up when he discovers the photo of Butcher and Becca in Ryan's backpack. He threatens Ryan after wrecking his suite, and Ryan flees. He outs Victoria as a Supe at their subsequent interview because he is sick of keeping everything a secret. When she attempts to back out because she doubts his intentions, he threatens both her and her daughter, Zoe. She makes the point that he will have to defeat everyone who stands in his or her way, but he doesn't mind.
Initially, he gives Ashley the order to round up every Vought employee who knows something about the Seven, then he orders the Supes to execute them.
Because Ashley is terrified and believes she should be at the top of the death list, she flees and gives herself a V injection. The medicines Firecracker is taking to lactate for Homelander cause her to become ill, yet he finds it repulsive.
As Hughie says farewell and Butcher asks Ryan to see him one more time, he lies dying in the hospital. Joe keeps trying to convince Butcher that he is the Supe Cancer's incarnation and that, as a result, he possesses abilities that were utilized to murder Ezekiel. However, he won't assist until Butcher consents to Supe genocide.
Butcher says no, saying he has other ideas. He tries to persuade Ryan to assassinate Homelander with Grace's help. When that fails, Grace goes over all of Homelander's heinous crimes, including the fact that Ryan was raped as a youngster. Although Butcher makes every effort to make things right, Ryan requires time to reflect. He discovers that the "hospital" is actually a CIA safe house designed to keep Supes when Grace won't let him go. Confronted, Ryan murders her and walks away. In desperation, Butcher accepts Joe's scheme.
Annie is angry with Hughie because she tells him that she was taken hostage for ten days and he was unaware of it. He did, however, notice several details, such as the fact that Annie, in real life, never sweats and prefers sweatpants to gowns; moreover, she is never able to find her keys, unlike the shifter. And he adores every one of the genuine Annie's eccentricities. She treats him silently since her proclamation of love is insufficient. That's when Vicky declares a ceasefire. She is sick of being Homelander's puppet and is concerned for Zoe.

She offers to assist The Boys in capturing and defeating him. Hughie delivers a monologue about forgiveness and how The Boys should behave like people while the other boys remain unsure.
They all agree that if Vicky betrays them, Frenchie will eventually extract the Supe virus, and Annie will mend her relationship with Hughie. Kimiko admits, in an attempt to forgive herself, that she didn't think Frenchie deserved to be with Colin and that's why she wanted her to be with him. She kisses him, surprising him, but he quickly gives it back.
At last, Annie, Hughie, Kimiko, Frenchie, and MM meet Vicky, Zoe, and her protection. They accept each other's demands despite the tension.
Butcher, however, breaks them up with an appearance of unexpected health; his hair has returned to its original black color, his bloodshot eyes have vanished, and he has a manic gleam in his eye. His body erupts in tentacles, tearing Vicky to pieces. After telling The Boys they are welcome, he takes the virus from Frenchie and runs off.
Upon discovering Vicky's passing, Homelander is distraught. But then a jubilant Sage appears and says it was all part of her plan. On television, a video of Singer criticizing The Boys for sparing Vicky's life has been leaked. Since everyone interprets this as Singer's big break, the FBI makes him an arrest.
Sage informs a bewildered Homelander that she carried out the plan because she could, even though he dismissed her, and asks him to give it some thought for Phase 2.
Basically, because Vicky is obstinate, she didn't want her to be the scapegoat. Now that Calhoun, the new president, has vowed allegiance to Homelander, Sage has paired up with him. He imposes martial law and designates Homelander as the leader of all Vought Supes. The Homelanders' initial move is to eliminate the Starlighters in order to "avenge Vicky."
After the boys walked away, Vought located them. Red River Group Home gets Zoe. Hughie is taken prisoner by Cindy from Season 2, but Annie regains her abilities and takes off. Merely Sausage defeats MM. Gen V's Sam assaults Kimiko as Cate mentally manipulates Frenchie. Kimiko cries for Frenchie to stop and eventually speaks as he enters Vought's arms. In another scene, Butcher and Joe exchange glances as they take off.
In the epilogue, Calhoun discovers the location of Soldier Boy's cell and phones Homelander, who gives his father a tearful look. This concludes our synopsis of The Boys Season 4 Episode 8.
