Switch On Thai Drama: Why the Thai Remake Outshines the Original!
Switch On Drama Review: Better Than the Original? You Bet!

Recently, a Thai drama named Switch On was released on the miniTV platform, which I have now finally finished watching, and let me tell you that it is a remake of the popular K-drama W: Two Words.
Now if I quickly give you the idea of its story without spoiling anything, then the story is based on the character of Nisa, whose father is a great genius who has made a video game named Better World, but there is a twist in the story when Nisa's father suddenly disappears.
After Nisa starts searching for her father, she goes into the VR world and knows all the twists and turns that come with it. For this, you will have to watch the Switch On Thai drama.
Switch On Review
As I told you, this is a remake of W: Two Worlds, but I will not call it a 100 percent remake because things have not been copied and pasted here. The creators of Switch On Thai Drama have added their own things.
Actually, this will be the first remake where a fresh vibe can be seen even if you have seen its original version.
The creators behind Switch On Drama offer a valuable lesson to fellow makers: if you are making a remake of any content, instead of doing it as copy-and-paste, you should use some of your creativity.
If Thai makers had done the same copy-and-paste work, then it would not have been much fun, so that's why, while concluding this Thai drama overall, I will say that this adoption of W: Two Worlds is good but not better than the original.
Yes, this Thai drama may be liked very much, especially by those audiences who have not seen its original version, W: Two Worlds.
Now if we talk about who has watched the W: Two Worlds K-drama, how will they like this Thai adoption? So look, you will definitely feel some settings are different, but overall, this remake has not been able to deliver what you enjoyed in the original.
The suspense that was there in the original, the twist that was there, the thrill that was there, the chemistry that was shown between the characters, the romance that was shown—it feels much stronger as compared to this remake version, and technically, the original one has a much richer feel.
What I am saying does not at all mean that you should not watch the remake version, which no doubt is very well made and gives fun.
In the original series, the storyline revolved around elements from a webtoon, whereas in the remake, the focus shifts to aspects centered around gaming.
In the original, when the main actress goes to the webtoon, the hero pulls her, but in the remake, the actress wears glasses and then goes to the game.
And here things are such that if you say Switch On, then you enter the game; if you say Switch Off, then you are outside the game. Similar changes are also seen, like in the original, where the entire family of the main hero is killed, but in the remake version, only his father is killed.
And as the remake progresses, you will get to see many different subplots. That's why I said in the beginning that there have been a lot of changes in the remake, which gives you a fresh vibe.
Conclusion
You will have to go through a total of 26 episodes to watch this drama. This drama promises an immersive experience. Plus, get ready for more excitement as Switch On leaves the doors wide open for Season 2.
This Thai adoption is not bad at all; if you take some time to watch it, it is very interesting to watch, and anyway, from the beginning, I recommend only those contents that are worth watching.
Now there is no use in recommending those contents that are not worth watching; it is a time waste.
