Sunflower Season 2 Review
Friends, if I review Sunflower season 2 very shortly, then it's far better than season 1. I mean, I did not enjoy the previous season, but a larger audience liked this show, and I appreciate that, but personally this show did not work for me.
I really liked some things in the second season, especially how they told us who the killer was. Even though there's a third season coming, it's going to focus on different stuff related to what happened before.
The dark humor that is seen here is working well in many places where, of course, laughter comes. Especially in the second episode, the way Sonu's character explains how he got stuck in Punjab, the way the scene has been visualized—somewhere the vibe of an audio series was coming.
I liked that thing very much, and there are many such comedy scenes that you will enjoy watching.
So yes, in terms of humor, this show was working perfectly; apart from this, there were some thrilling moments that were good, and the climax also seemed decent somewhere.
Talking about the acting of the actor, Sunil Grover is superb; I mean, he has returned again in the role of Sonu and is looking effortless. Looking at his work, it did not seem that he had put in any special effort for the role, meaning that doing all this was normal for him.
Apart from Sunil Grover, the actor who impressed me was Girish Kulkarni, who became sub-inspector Tambe. I mean, just listen to his one-liners; there are no words to praise. And the type of chemistry he had with the rest of the characters means he has done an effortless job, and apart from the fact that Ranveer Shorey is also there, his work is decent.
This time, Adah Sharma is also a part of this show, and a new character has been introduced.
I liked the production value of the show; apart from this, the BGM in it is quite good. This time you also get to listen to two songs, which I guess even if they were not there, it would not have made any difference, but according to me, it is right to have songs because a bridge of entertainment remains.
Hey, if any of you are considering watching this show, just a quick tip: it's more enjoyable if you don't analyze it too much. There are moments where logic takes a back seat. For instance, being in a police station, getting interrogated, and still having a good time. I mean, you need some serious guts to joke around with the police.
It's not exactly realistic, but hey, this show is all about entertaining people. So, just go with the flow and enjoy the ride.
And Sunil Grover's character is also funny, so this thing may seem irritating to a mature audience.
While on one hand there are good things in this show, on the other hand there are also loopholes, like showing the love story of a policeman, which was not making any sense, but pros and cons are seen in every piece of content.
One thing is very good in Climax, and that is a hint about Sonu's character, so I have got a hint as to what Sonu's character is going to be, which has created a mystery. I am definitely sure that season 3 is going to be the most exciting one. Because of Sonu's character.
Mark my words. Sonu's character will be seen shining even more in season 3, and it is sure to be a blast and will unfold such a mystery that people will be surprised to see it. Such a promise has been made.
Conclusion
So guys, Sunflower Season 2 has proved to be a decent attempt for me; at least personally, I liked it better than the previous season. Some people may find it bad, and some people may find it very good.
Well, if you have also seen Sunflower season 2, then tell us how you liked it; the comment box is open.
I will meet you soon. Take care and stay happy.
