Should Chanel exibit more grace?

Raven Bowens is an excellent actress, but some fans say the writers of Days of Our Lives have made her character, Chanel Dupree Dimera, immature regarding marriage. Not everyone will agree, but Johnny Dimera (Carson Boatman) may need to consider cutting this woman loose.

Every time they deal with a serious issue, she puts distance between herself and her spouse. When she discovered that he had almost slept with Joy Wesley (AlexAnne Hopkins) Chanel wanted to end her marriage.

Now she is angry that Johnny has changed his mind about adopting Tate Black (Leo Howard) and Sophia Choi's (Rachel Boyd) baby, so she tells him she can no longer look at him.

Johnny needs some therapy

Johnny is wandering the streets of Salem after sleeping on the couch in the Dimera mansion and at the Salem Inn. He said he could not bear to sleep in the room he and his wife once shared at the mansion. Perhaps he needs therapy to deal with his Dimera trauma.

Paulina Carver (Jackee Harry) advised her daughter to honor her wedding vows for better or worse, but Chanel does not want to hear that. Spoilers tease that Chanel's anger is not going anywhere anytime soon and that she is going to ask her husband if he is the one who shot EJ Dimera (Dan Feuerriegel).

Bowen's character exhibits no grace or forgiveness and immediately acts like a child who did not get her way when Johnny disappoints her. EJ's son has his issues, and he jumps to the wrong conclusion when he thinks Chanel had slept with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson).

Days fans disagree

Some Days of Our Lives fans say Chanel has a reason to be angry with her spouse. Others say Johnny is dealing with a lot right now and needs compassion.

EJ has a video of his son in the Dimera mansion with a gun. Even if he did not pull the trigger, Johnny's anger might not make him the best candidate to adopt at this time.

Chanel is disappointed because she wanted to adopt the baby, but she needs to mature and stop being so critical of her husband. Johnny must look at his marriage and decide if he wants a wife who will abandon him for every indiscretion.

Is Chanel stable enough to become a mother?

If Chanel were to look honestly at herself, she would realize she is not ready for a baby because she continues to act like one. She whines, complains, and cries about everything like a spoiled brat. Could it be that Chanel is over the moon about having a baby and buying baby clothes and gifts rather than being ready to care for another life?

Chanel kicked her spouse to the curb the first time over something he almost did. She behaved as if he had been caught in the act of adultery. She has forgotten that Johnny forgave her for sleeping with his sister, Allie Horton ( Lindsey Arnold), and having a threesome with Alex

What does the future hold for Johnny and Chanel?

. The Sweet Bits owner has kicked her husband out because he has changed his mind about the adoption. Chanel is screaming that she will never have the chance to be a mother, as if they cannot adopt another child at a later date when Johnny gets his head together.

The hatred and animosity that he has for his father and the fact that he is telling everyone in Salem how he feels are indications that he is not ready to be a father right now.

Unfortunately, his decision has broken his wife's heart and devastated Tate and Sophia. Is there a way for Johnny and Chanel to return from this, or is the damage irreparable? What happens if, by some miracle, Chanel learns she is pregnant? Stay tuned to Days of Our Lives to learn what happens next.
