Shekhar Home Review: Worth Watching or Better Skipped?
Not great, but good.

JioCinema has come up with its new show named Shekhar Home. So what kind of show is this, is it time travel or not? Let's find out.
Well friends, the show Shekhar Home is a Hindi adaptation of Sherlock Holmes, where the story revolves around a detective who observes things very well and solves cases. To know the rest, you will have to watch this show in which there are 6 episodes whose length varies from 40 to 45 minutes.
Shekhar Home Web Series Review
If I describe the review of Shekhar Home for you in a few words, not great but good, if you have seen the original version then maybe you are going to be disappointed.
But those who find this thing completely new and fresh will enjoy the show.
Look, friends, first of all, I didn’t like 'Shekhar Home.' I mean, they've turned 'Sherlock Holmes' into 'Shekhar Home,' and I think they should have come up with something else.
I don't think there was any need to break down and present the original name like this.
I feel that it would have been better if they had chosen a different, new name.
In the six-episode show, the first four episodes feature different random cases that don't follow a pattern. Then in the fifth and sixth episodes, a different case is introduced, which is quite interesting. Even though we already know that Shekhar is going to solve the case, the fun element, the thrill that should be felt, is indeed present.
And the climax of the final episode will leave a huge twist and you will definitely be shocked and will also eagerly wait for season 2.
Yes, the story is not complete yet, season 2 of this show will come 101 percent and I am so excited that it will come and be good because there is hope that something good will come.
Srijit Mukherjee is the director of this show, to be very honest, if you have seen even a little of his previous work, he has not been in his top form for the last four years. If he had brought this show in his prime form, then this show would come out as 9 or 10 out of 10, which means they have the capability but these days they are a bit down for some time.
Acting Performance
In terms of acting, you’ll see some amazing actors in this show. The show is led by KK Menon Sir, and he has set the atmosphere. Although I wouldn’t say this is his best work to date, still, his aura or his personality is such that you’ll enjoy watching him. He is accompanied by Ranveer Shorey and no doubt his work is also very good. I think he knows very well how to impress.
Apart from this, Dibyendu Bhattacharya is seen in a small role, there are some other characters too which you get to see in small roles.
Kirti Kulhari and Rasika Dugal are potentially very good actresses but the sad thing is that they were completely wasted in this show, especially Kirti Kulhari.
BGM is good at setting the atmosphere in a good way and the atmosphere of the 90s that you get to see is quite good or rather refreshing, seeing which you will feel that yes, we have reached the era of the 90s.
Although the color grading of this show did not seem anything special to me, the editing should have been a little better.
Conclusion
All in all, if you have not seen the original show then you can give Shekhar Home a try, I will give the show 7 out of 10.
Coming to parental guidance, there is no abuse in the show, there is one adult scene, but it would be wrong to call it adult because not much was shown there.
So friends, this was my review of JioCinema's new Shekhar Home, hope you enjoy it.
If you watched this show, tell me how you liked it.
