Phir Aayi Haseena Dilruba Review: More Twists, Same Thrill, and a Strong Sequel
Is Phir Aayi Haseena Dilruba Worth Watching?

So brothers and sisters, Phir Aayi Haseena Dilruba has been released on Netflix, which is the direct sequel of the movie Haseena Dilruba released in 2021. I've watch Phir Aayi Haseena Dilruba, so now I'd like to share my reaction to this crime thriller.
To the point, I think this movie deserves a theatrical release because when the first part came, it was one of the best movies in the romantic thriller category at that time and now when the second part has come, it has not broken the expectations at all.
The second part also carries the same power as it did in the first part and this time the movie has more twists and turns than the first part. It is a direct sequel of the first part so it becomes very important to watch the first part. And even if you have not seen it, then after a minute or two of the beginning of this movie, the makers have very interestingly put a recap of the first part along with a song which you might have heard in the trailer also. And seriously, it was a very good recap cut.
If the credit scenes are kept aside in this two-hour 12-minute movie, then this movie is almost only two hours long and its short timing is what makes this movie so much better.
Although in this movie many times it seems that after seeing some scenes why he is there everything is revealed in the climax.
Well, Rishu is now absconding and is trying to get Rani back but to increase his hurdles two new characters have come into the movie, one is Abhimanyu who is in love with Rani.
One is Montu Chacha who is the uncle of Neel i.e. the one who was killed by Rishu or Rani and Montu Chacha is an inspector who is after Rishu or Rani so that he can avenge the death of Neel.
Yes, there is also a fictional character, Dinesh Pandit, in this movie who doesn't exist but plays a major role in the story. If you’ve seen the first part, you’ll understand this better.
Despite everything being good in the movie, you might still feel that some scenes defy logic.
The film’s storytelling creates situations in such a way that you'll end up accepting these scenes.
If you've seen the previous movie, Haseena Dilruba, you'll notice that this new part has almost the same storytelling style, twists, and climax. While it's acceptable as a sequel, the plot and twists are quite similar to the previous movie.
Rest of the acting I did not find anything wrong with anyone, everyone did a very good job, like in the previous movie, Vikrant or Tabsee did tremendous acting in this too but what a terrific performance by Sunny Kaushal, he has the role of a Psycho kind of lover and he nailed it.
Jimmy Shergil's entry was good but I did not find his character that strong. However, there are no extremely vulgar scenes etc. in the movie but there are kissing scenes etc. and no abuses.
For those interested in crime thrillers, you might also enjoy my review of Brinda, which is a perfect choice for fans of the genre. Additionally, if you like whodunits, check out my review of A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, which explores a similar investigative concept.
So watch Phir Aayi Haseena Dilruba one time with some flaws, so this movie is 3 out of 5 stars from my side.
