Night is Alone

Dreamworld

By Shital Ajit LondhePublished 10 months ago 3 min read

It was a darkest night, and she roamed the garden after dinner. After walking for a while, she heard the voice which was weird like someone was following her. She continued to walk alone and reached back home.

As usual routine she took 'Turkish tea' before going to bed, she was in a deep sleep and then after 2 hours at midnight, in her dream, Vildan found herself wandering through a dense, misty forest, the trees towering above her like ancient guardians.

As she ventured deeper into the woods, the sound of rustling leaves and distant whispers filled the air. Suddenly, she stumbled upon a clearing, where she met a mysterious boy named Firaat, his eyes as deep and dark as the night sky.

They felt an instant connection as if they had known each other forever. Together, they wandered through the forest, but soon realized they were lost.

Just as panic began to set in, they discovered a wooden house nestled among the trees, its weathered walls covered in ivy. With no other choice, they entered the house, only to find that its rooms seemed to shift and change, leading them further into a labyrinth of memories and forgotten dreams, with no clear way out.

Next Day Morning,

Vildan woke up the next morning with a start, her heart still racing from the vivid dream. The early light filtered softly through her curtains, but it did little to shake the lingering sense of unease that clung to her.

She could still feel the dampness of the forest air on her skin, and the image of Firaat’s dark eyes was etched in her mind, hauntingly familiar yet distant.

As she lay in bed, trying to piece together the fragments of the dream, a strange sense of loss settled over her as if she had left something important behind in that wooden house.

The details of the shifting rooms and the feeling of being lost stayed with her, making her question what the dream could mean. Even as she went about her morning routine, the dream's atmosphere lingered, casting a shadow over her day, making her feel as though she was still wandering through that mysterious forest, searching for something she couldn’t quite name.

Life was always full of surprises for her not only in their dreams but in her reality too, she always crossed paths with different people and different cultures.

Vildan’s loneliness was not born out of isolation but rather a quiet choice she made for herself. She cherished her solitude, finding comfort in the silence and the space it gave her to reflect and dream. In the stillness of her own company, she could explore her thoughts without interruption, letting her mind wander to places that crowded conversations could never reach.

It wasn’t that she disliked people; she simply found a deeper connection within herself, a tranquility that was hard to find in the chaos of social interactions. Her loneliness was like a well-worn blanket, soft and familiar, offering her a sense of peace that she rarely found in the presence of others.

Vildan chose to be alone not because she felt unwanted or unloved, but because it was in this quiet, solitary space that she felt most herself, most free.

Vildan gave importance to her journey rather than any attachments in her life. She was a focused female, and her passion made her the 'Self Made Queen'.

She never gave up on her life & explored each moment as per her choices.

Very few people getting the chances to listen to their heart & find out Solace.
