Is Curtis a hypocrite who should appologize to Kai on General Hospital
Both men revealed secrets that were not theirs to tell but only one is paying a price

Should Curtis hold himself accoutnable?
On *General Hospital*, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) has typically been depicted as one of the good guys. However, in recent months, he has shown that he can be just as devious as any Quartermaine when it comes to protecting his family.
Recently, Curtis, along with Portia Ashford (Brooke Kerr) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), reacted harshly when Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrip) confessed that he told Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) about their plan to frame him for something he did not do.
Is Curtis a hypocrite for holding his daughter's former boyfriend to a standard that he himself cannot uphold? After all, he recently betrayed Nina Reeves's (Cynthia Watros) trust by revealing to Willow Tait (KateLynn MacMullen) that Nina and Drew had slept together.

Curtis has a double standard
What gave Curtis the right to reveal that information while reprimanding Kai for talking to Drew? Curtis felt justified in his actions, just as Kai did when he exposed Curtis and Portia.
The key difference is that Kai aimed to right a wrong by informing Drew about the scheme against him. In contrast, Curtis was trying to protect Portia, who was guilty of several medical violations. He also wanted to hurt Drew and stop his wedding, aware that it would devastate his best friend and her daughter.
While the Ashford family holds a grudge against Kai, no one is holding Curtis accountable for his actions. Nina is so distraught over losing Willow that she isn't even processing the betrayal.

Nina is in denial about Curtis
Once Nina got oer her initial shock, that Curtis told Willow her secret, she accepted her good friend's decision, even though it had estranged her from her daughter. Nina did not yell at Curtis, slap his face or acuse him of betraying their friendship. She told him she was glad the truth was out.
Some GH viewers feel sorry for Nina because Curtis and Portia seem t be taking advantage of her. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) on the other hand is furious because Ms. Reeves plotted with her to take Drew down but withheld that she had thsi explosive secret.

Can Trina and Kai reunite?
Kai has apologized and wants to reconcile with Trina. She has confessed to her parents that she still cares for him, but she feels conflicted. Portia and Curtis have stated they won't dictate her choices, but they wish she would stay away from Kai
Kai revealing the truth to Drew did not cause anyone to act irrationally. Currently, Drew believes that Nina snitched on him. Once he discovers that it was actually Curtis who did it, he might try to expose Portia and get her fired from her position as Co-CEO of General Hospital.
If Trina were aware of everything her parents have been doing, she would likely be just as angry with them as she has been with Kai. She would see the hypocrisy in their actions and view things differently.
Some *GH* viewers speculated that Kai would leave Port Charles after Trina broke up with him, while others still hope that Nicholas Chavez will return as Spencer Cassadine to reclaim the woman he loves. The question now is whether Trina and Kai can work through this or if they will go their seperate ways.

Willow is the main victim
There was no fallout from Kia's revelation except that he lost Trina, but what he revealed was not life-changing. Curtis, on the other hand, is responsible for Willow having a complete meltdown and Nina losing her daughter.
Curtis never stopped to consider how his revelation would impact the confused Nurse Tait, who now may be required to obtain psychiatric treatment because of all she has gone through and feels she has no home to return to. Keep watching General Hospital to learn how all of this plays out in the coming weeks.
